Dont say City are the champions, 29 games remaining and anything can happen.

Important thing for City to concentrate on, is not becoming complacent, and in the next few months not making unneccessary changes that aren't needed. Newcastle United learnt that the hard way and should be a warning City should heed. The Newcastle squad back then had amazing players, then suddenly there were changes and bang! Were left to pick up the pieces.

Exactly. as for new champions, its october for crying out loud. It might not go to either side. Just ask Chelsea about last season

Exactly. Newcastle 5-0 Man Utd come to mind? Sure that was at Old Trafford too.

Wow. Unbelievable scoreline. Evans you ******* *****.

Hopefully all players get what they deserve from Fergie and I believe this game marks end of few careers. At least one in Rio.

Oh and Fletcher bashing. ******* ****, he did well in the first half when it was 11 v 11. In fact we absolutely dominated the game till the first goal which was against the run of play.

Anyways this was one off. Nick kick in the ***, now wake the **** up and move on.

Mate! Calm Down! WE STILL HAVE FERGIE! AND I DON'T WORRY TILL HE IS THERE!

Newcastle 5 Man Utd 0 (October 20, 1996)
Kevin Keegan's Newcastle blew United away at St James' Park. The Magpies had lost the Community Shield 4-0 earlier in the season but the same side got it right as Darren Peacock, David Ginola, Les Ferdinand, Alan Shearer and Philippe Albert found the target.
Title winners: Man Utd.
Southampton 6 Man Utd 3 (October 26, 1996)
A week after the humiliation at St James' Park, United came unstuck spectacularly again. After Eyal Berkovic gave Saints an early lead, Roy Keane was sent off, and Saints took over with an Egil Ostenstad hat-trick and further goals from Berkovic and Matt Le Tissier. David Beckham, David May and Paul Scholes replied for the visitors.
Title winners: Man Utd.
Chelsea 5 Man Utd 0 (October 3, 1999)
United goalkeeper Massimo Taibi gifted Chelsea's Gus Poyet a first minute goal - and the hosts never looked back as United's 29-game unbeaten run was emphatically ended. United's hopes ended when Nicky **** was sent off, with Poyet, Chris Sutton, Jody Morris and a Henning Berg own goal compounding a miserable day for Ferguson's men.
Title winners: Man Utd.
Man Utd 1 Liverpool 4 (March 14, 2009)
Cristiano Ronaldo gave United a 23rd-minute lead but Fernando Torres and Steven Gerrard (penalty) turned things around before Nemanja Vidic's straight red card 15 minutes from time. The visitors made the man advantage tell in the closing stages, with Fabio Aurelio and Andrea Dossena netting.
Title winners: Man Utd.

It isn't so easy for supporters living in England, specifically Manchester, to just move on from this result and forget it.

Nobody is going to forget the result but we can't dwell on the result we have to move on! And WE ARE ALL MANCHESTER UNITED FANS NO MATTER WHERE WE LIVE!

I just love when people write us off.
Deeds to City, outplayed us today. But be sure, we'll bounce back stronger. I have to say Anderson didn't impress me, we need someone like Silva, who could dribble through middle and make some space. Ando is runner, we have Cleverley and Fletcher as runners. Someone needs to go.

It has nothing to do with supporters. It was for team.

Absolutely agree with you!

Best bit of all of this is trolling Mike. over Facebook. He is raging. :)

Kudos for the true United fans that are being gracious in defeat and not over reacting. Just like the 8-2, this is not the time for knee jerk reactions, I have no doubt United will show in the next few games that they will be in it until the end. If City lose the next game, there's suddenly only a 2 point gap again. The people writing United/ Chelsea off already are ridiculous.

Saying that, it looks as though City are now the team to beat. Man advantage or not they were very impressive today. Patient passing waiting for the gap to appear. One important point for me is that playing with an extra man can sometimes work against you, but City exploited it perfectly- played it patiently and stretched the field with Milner/ Richards/ Clichy and dragging Evra out of position.

Evra and Evans were poor, Young and Nani had to feed off scraps and were disappointing. Silva had his usual good game, also Richards and Balotelli were very impressive. Congrats to City, now I just hope they can replicate it in Europe.

It won't be so funny when Madridista comes here and starts spouting nonsense all over the thread.

He has been and gone. Banned earlier and his posts deleted for some reason I think.

Like Billy said, made a fleeting appearance spouting his usual ****. Was expecting it tbh.
