Do you know if it mentions anything about OI's with the 4231, as I hate using them as I feel they change the tactic(sometimes in a negative way)

Also will you be starting a new thread for the 4231?

every thing as before. but spouse you dont have to use them

Is there a modern warfare 4-2-3-1 now!?.. i cant find it anywhere??
 
I am playing in a LAN game against a friend and he is using the modern warfare tactic go great effect - so far he has had the upper hand everytime we played each other - I was hoping you could give me some input / ideas in how to counter the modern warfare tactic - have you come across any weaknesses or do you always tend to loose against certain tactics - and what are they? I hope you can help - clearly the modern warfare tactic is excellent and very difficult to beat.
 
I'm trying this tactic now, and after a few games where my players were working to get used to it, this happens:

You are playing with an old patch, right ? :) Since you are in year 2023, you probably still using old patch for that save.

When there's a new patch, it doesn't matter if you continue your previous savegame or start a new one. The ME changes also in savegames. Only the database-update changes in a new savegame.

This doesn't make sense, because why does he have a lot of succes with that old tactic while others don't anymore.
 
I posted the pic in the wrong thread, sorry about that. It was supposed to go in the recreated modern warfare tactic, I didn't notice which thread I was posting in.
 
I am so, so, lost now :s Not sure which tactics are good and which worth trying and what tweaks to apply to them. Can anyone give any suggestions?
 
Just my 1.5 cents. i have been using KISS version prior to the database update and it is a good tactic and better than original Modern Warfare. After the update, for some reason, KISS version doesn't work for me, but instead original MW works, though the defense is, at times, very leaky.
 
can anyone give me the link of mordern warfare 4-3-1-2 thank and which shout should use in this tatic
 
KISS seemed to lose its magic slightly after latest patch (even though there were no ME changes apparently!)

I've since changed all marking to Zonal as my two CBs were being dragged out off position every time I conceded.

Before the change:

10 conceded in 14 games. And 5 of those (2 v Blackburn and 3 v Wigan were with my reserve team out as I rested players)

Only tested for these 14 games and have to go to work but maybe others can try it out and I'll see how you get on when I get home.

EDIT: I'm Chelsea by the way. They finished 6th, 10th and 14th before I took over. Its 2038 son regens everywhere but I would say the squad be similar to modern day Liverpool, lacking 3/4 quality players

This is not my tactic and i don't want to say it is. i can speak some Thai so if you need any thing ill ask as im a meber on that web site.

after playing with my 4231 as people was saying plug and play was over. I was doing good i all ways looking around the web to find tactics as Cleon knows, So hope this does not get closed :D

I saw this looked like loads was using it. I thought I why not try myself.

so i stared a couple of saves to see how good first of all Manchester City ,Rotherham
Both did really well. I now am using it in my own Liverpool save.

another thing the tactic creator said 2 days ago [ the tactic has been release 2 weeks ago ] change team crossing default to drillcross is much much better but I haven't try that yet though

Shouts : Pump ball into box, Get ball forward, Push up and play wider ( Some Users have suggested Pass into Space aswell)

If I'm A small team and playing a harder team say Sheffield Wednesday vs Man Utd i put Tempo on 0 Clicks only Away from home

Players need I used Fuss last years 442 as a guide

• FC'l - Fast Strikers: - Look for lots of physical stats, particularly acceleration & speed. Flacao, Torres

• FC'R - Fast Strong Strikers: Cavani, Destro

• ML/R - Wingers: All round wide-men are good here, they'll be a mix of cutting in and crosses. The most important stats are once again the physical stats, so look for pace, acceleration & dribbling - somebody that can finish given the chance is a bonus (AMR/L work fine here too).

• MC'l - Ball Winner: These guys are supportive midfielders, look for typical CM's here. Strong types that 'boss the park' would be ideal, think Lucas and Parker for Spurs last year. They'll hang back and play a defensive game most of the time, but a lot of assists and killer passes will arrive from here.

• MC'R - Advanced Playmaker: Support the attack, look for typical AM's here. Lampard , Gerrard and Wilshere (He is set to be play-maker)

• FB's - Defend: These guys are more defensive than before and will stay back more often, look primarily for defenders, heading/tackling/marking, although physical stats and the ability to make a cross wont go amiss.

• CB's - Defend: Typical centre-backs there to defend the goalkeeper. FM strongly favours physical and fast centre-backs, the likes of John Terry sadly don't cut it any more.

• GK - The usual: Handling, reflexes, command of area - one-on-ones is particularly important as this tactic uses a high defensive line so the occasional fast player may get through.
