Due to a utter disaster of weekend i'm not going to get a chance to edit and update tonight. I've not worked out when i'll be posting a update but the summer will have a extra stop as a few managers are hoping to fight over sacked international managers.

The second window once the managers are sacked will be for managers, C2C and for teams who missed out on players due to clashed FGN/DOM/U18 slots. No new FGN, DOM and U18 slots can be used

For that window only managers on a free will be treated like free players! Highest bid gets there man. We wont sim to September till everyone is happy with there managers.

I'll post a timeline of whats happening if i get a better idea

Anyone that i've messaged about getting a second chance at FGN/U18 or DOM deals dont worry as the next update will be up soon and the deals will be done there

i'm away sim to the end of the world cup, or when all the managers get sacked and put that save up for players to decide what the want to do with there managers,

Manager Window open
Till 5pm Monday

Game Link

This will be a one off manager window where you can submit wage offers for

- sacked world cup coaches
- Any managers on a free

Unlike normal manager hires this time will go to the teams that offer the highest wage so post me your manager changes in the style of a free, Might be a idea to send a few names if you really want to replace your current manager

eg
A Manager - free - Leipzig £20k
M Josriniho - Leipzig £175k
D Boss - Leipzig £40k

You can also hired managers currently employed from non chairman teams following the usual rules such as managers employed by a nation can not be hired.

After this window closes i will try to get the September update posted by Monday 7pm, If its not up by then it will be Tuesday mid day before it appears.

Hi guys, I'm really sorry but I'm going to have to withdraw from this chairman save. It's been really fun whilst it has lasted for me and I've really enjoyed being a part of it all. However, work has picked up big time over the past couple of weeks and shows no sign of slowing down anytime soon. I've not been massively active on the forum because of it, and over the last window I didn't even find 15 minutes to have a look through the save and see what I could do. The spare time I do get, I am trying to put into my own Dutch save, and think it would be unfair to stay in this without my full commitment. Wishing you all the best of luck and maybe if things calm down and I get some free time, I could rejoin at a later date.....if stonecold will let me and if it's all still running. I'll still be keeping a good eye on the post to see how you're all getting on!

Of course you can come back! Thanks for being part of the save!

RVP 20 makes a double manager change

As well as manager changes remember and write up a summer review. I should be back on track now and will get the winter window open tomorrow as usual!

HSV HAMBURG
THE REVOLUTION IS REAL
After a season of improvement(finally), the Hamburg board have splashed out this transfer window, bringing in 10 new players permanently to improve the squad as they attempt to move up the table and go for the European places. Most season’s, manager Niko Kovac has done admirably with a weak side and lack of transfer funds, this season he will have something he will have been craving…depth and talent.

RENNES

IT BEGINS
With Hamburgs owners branching out to attempt to conquer France quicker than they have Germany, they have taken over Rennes, another side low on funds, to slowly work their magic and get the club into a decent position, both on and off the pitch.

To do this, the club have not gone overboard this season, and have signed just 2 players, Ignacio Camacho on a free from Wolfsburg, and Sergio Ramos for £3m from Toulouse. Both players bring skill and experience on low fees, and fill positions severely lacking in quality for the side. The first season will be about safety, with rebuilding the following year

Panic in Leverkusen

View attachment 42579

I don't know whether to be sad or happy about this window. I guess the feeling that would be the most accurate is frustrated! After what I thought was a decent window in terms of arrivals, Ancelotti decided to go all out as he knew he was leaving to go to Italy and sold all my best players! Vital gone to PSG, Bailey and Lucas gone to Real Madrid, my backup keeper Lafont going back to France and Gelson Martins going to Chelsea! The good news is that the rule about losing your club doesn't apply anymore, but it's still incredibly frustrating to lose so many great players and one of the best managers in the world in the same window. In terms of arrivals though, Barella, Leno, Mboula and Effers should all be great signings. Sorry Hampus about the club signing your wonderkid from Toulouse though lol...

View attachment 42578
I'm going to have to pray for some money in January to bring in some reinforcements after this ridiculous window, but so far so good! Fonseca is who the club hired to replace Ancelotti but that will soon change. A new manager is on his way and I just need to wait on stonecold to see who exactly I'm allowed to bring in, from then I'll be able to make a decision.

View attachment 42577
Europa League here we come!

View attachment 42576

Again, I don't know how to feel about this window either! On one hand, I brought in some great young players in Gribbin and Payet who have potential, but on the other Jardim decided to sell by far my best player in the squad! Just ridiculous...Thankfully, he also got rid of some dead wood in the side and with the arrival of Havertz on a free and Salcedo and Hernández on loan, I'm confident we can do some damage in the league this season. We're still a long way away from the riches of Bordeaux, Lyon, Marseille or PSG and Monaco but we finished in 6th last season so why not push for the Champions League this season! (bold statement I know lol).

View attachment 42575
We had to get through 3 qualifying rounds to make it to the group stages of the Europa League but to be fair, these were all pretty terrible teams so none of these performances are really impressive. That becomes even more obvious when you look at how we've started the league so far! With 2 draws and a convincing win against Strasbourg, we're only in 9th... It's quite evident now that we didn't use that one-season advantage that well against the other chairmen lol when you look at how we've done so far. Hopefully Jardim turns it around like he did last season though...

Wolfsburg

Signings In

1. Jean-Kevin Augustin - £29m

Signing from PSG, i have "weakened" PSG and bolstered Wolfsburgs attack in the process. We are very happy to announce Augustin as the first new addition to our squad this season.

2. Kasper Dolberg - £12.75m

Another new attacker welcomed to Wolfsburg and this time a genuine quality striker whom we hope wll finally be that big goalscorer we have missed and for a cheap price we have no complaints.

3. Andreas Christensen - £108m

Well i'm a hypocrite. I'd like to quote my last update below

"These clubs are ruining football and in particular German football"..."I urge teams to take more care, we need to save our games from this abhorrent spending"

So as you can see the coin has flipped an we decided to spend and pray hoping this is the answer to our defence which has ultimately cost us in overtaking Bayern last season.

We have spent £150 million pounds this summer and our wage rule has been thrown out in 6 in game months. And how am i rewarded, Thomas Tuchel abandons me and im now given Torsten Libersknecht. Am i happy. No, but we will have to deal with it due to a shortage of managers who interest me as well as missing the deadline for World Cup managers.

Monaco

Signings In

1. Mammana - £46m

This was our single chairman based signing and simply this was done to fill the coffers at Wolfsburg to allow us to invest in Christiansen and therefore i admit i am using Monaco to fund Wolfsburg, in fairness i will strive to better Monaco but Wolfsburg is the priority.

Low will stay. Similar story to Wolfsburg in terms of a lack of suitable replacement although at least this time there is a bearable standard of manager in charge. We hope that we can challenge PSG this season and the manager himself has made massive investments in the squad leaving me limited money to bring in my own players. We hope to challenge and that would be enough in this first season in France.

On a separate note. I'd like to pay tribute to the recently exiting chairmen from this game. I won't go through every individual as i am bound to miss one of you but i'd like to say thanks to everyone who has and will continue to make this game enjoyable. In particular TheNotSoSpecialOne who has been in here since the original Italy game and was at one point my Serie A and then Bundesliga rival. I can honestly say on behalf of everyone you are a massive loss and i hope to see you return one day.

I'd like to take the opportunity to reaffirm my interest in the game and i hope others will too. We may have had some losses in numbers but we need to show our commitment and appreciation not only to the game but the countless hours Stonecold puts in to keep this running. Thank You
