Mr Langvatn's Tactic Thread (Updated for 13.3.3)

Thank you been a great help. By the way with rock classic took over at luton won blue square prem in first season by 20 points in a 3 person network game.. next season few free transfer signings won league 2 will let you know how i get on in league 1. also knocked tottenham out of the f.a cup drawing 1-1 at home and 1-1 away and beating them on penalties legendary tactic well played sir well played.
 
Hi Mr Langvatn,

do you have a tactic similar to the rock classic, which can be used for any team, but without wingers? Like a 4-1-3-2 for lower league?
 
Sorry tobe a pain and if this question as already been asked I apologies again, but amlooking at starting a lower league game using a team in England and waswondering what tactic I should use. Also any general tips would be welcome.

I think the best then would be to change the rock to a 4-1-3-2. Move one winger to central mid, copy the instructions from one of the other CM's, then move the other one to be a striker, and copy from the striker. Could probably be done better, but in any case it cannot compete with the rock as it is, cause the backs will get no cover in a 4-1-3-2.

Or if you want a 4-1-3-1-1, I can recommend the one I made with Mr Hough. Degeneration X. You can find it at the front page.

Rock Classic works for every level

4-1-4-1 Rock Classic, always, with any team, from the lowest leagues to Man City etc.
 
Thank Mr Langvatn. One last question have you got any other tips to help make the 4-1-4-1 Rock Classic work in the lower leagues?

It works in lower leagues, extremely well. Both myself and others have posted over three consecutive promotions from the bottom in England.

I will be giving it a go when i get in from work. Thinking of giving it a go with Harrogate town as they are local to me. Let the games begin

Doing a Youth-only (no buy and no loan) save with Blyth Spartans. Starting 1 league lower then BSS. 7 games before the end we are Champions. Went to 3rd round of FA!! losing 2-1 against Wolves. The best of this is i had only 19 players to use. with only 1 DL and DR. Its really a solid tactic. Great work Mr L.

England level 9 + real club and competition names for FM13 click on download at the right. (DOWNLOAD NOW in red) after that start a new game and make sure you are using the DEFAULT data and not the 13.3 UPDATE. When choosing league go to ENGLAND and just go to 1 league under BSS/N. there you will find Blyth Spartans. You want to do a Youth challenge only or you want to buy/loan players?

Thanks k3zz4. I like the idea of a youth challange and making the club self-sufficient. Developing youth selling them on making a profit and re-investing back in to the club.
 
Are their instructions/player filters etc for the rock classic anywhere please? I am trailing through this thread trying to find them!
 
They are on the opening post. You can download the player filters in the same section as the tactic.
 
reading great things about this tactic so gonna give it a go in my villa save which i am still yet to win the league highest finish is 3rd i have been using a 4-1-2-3 with one striker and a aml/r as inside forwards. Now my question is i have just spent my first amount of big money (only took me till season 5 lol to spend) i have recruited lamela schurlle ifs and gabbiadini as back up/rotation with benteke unfortunately i bought these as they fit in my old tactic so would re training them to fit the right positions work as well as say buying someone who is aready suited to that position.

You can just re-train their positions, works well for me :) If you finished 3rd with a 4-1-2-3 then you will probably win the league first season you try the 4-1-4-1 Rock Classic.
 
I have one qustion but it is not for this thread , i dont have at all grpahick support on fm reinstaled windows and game no picures of player no pictures of nations clubs anything how to fix ?
