View attachment 96437

Villa fans wont of liked the football headlines this morning as FC Bayern Director Franz Beckenbauer makes it public knowledge that he wants current Villa boss to fill their vacant managers position with immediate effect. There has been no official statement from Aston Villa or their boss David Beckham so will he be off to Germany or will Beckham stay at Villa to finish off what he has started.

Aston Villa 6-3 Juventus (agg)

When this UEFA Europa League 1st Knockout Rnd draw was made the media were touting Juventus as hot favourites and gave Villa no chance, especially going off last season where Juve beat Villa in last years group stage on both occasions. But Villa certainly showed they were a different team this season and showed some real class as they won both home and away legs with a 6-3 win on agg. Something that will delight Villa boss David Beckham will be that fact that all of their 6 goals were scored by is two main men Gabby Agbonlahor and Carlton Cole. Villa will no face 2008 winners Zenit, can they push on and go even furthur in this competition. With all this speculation about FC Bayern wanting Beckham as their new manager, Villa fans will be hoping their boss will stick with this very promising Villa side

After a great set of results last month Villa fans were keen to see some more of the same, but there was a tough set of fixtures for Villa to play with games against Chelsea, Everton and Juventus. But confidence was high and David Beckham had created a team with no fear so what will this month hold for the club!

Aston Villa 3-1 Wolves. GOALS - Gabby Agbonlahor(2), Nathan Delfouneso, Steven Fletcher.

Aston Villa 2-1 Man City. GOALS - Miles Addison, Gabby Agbonlahor, Carlos Tevez.

Juventus 1-2 Aston Villa. GOALS - Diego, Carlton Cole (pen 28), Gabby Agbonlahor.

Aston Villa 3-1 Chelsea. GOALS - Ashley Young(2), Ashley Cole own goal, Franco di Santo.

Aston Villa 4-2 Juventus. GOALS - Gabby Agbonlahor(3), Carlton Cole, Stephen Warnock own goal, Diego.

Everton 0-3 Aston Villa. GOALS - Ashley Young, Gabby Agbonlahor(2).

What a month for the club as we saw Villa progress into the next rounds of the FA Cup and the Europa League, beating very tough competition. Not only this but we saw Villa win all 3 of their Premier League games this month ensuring they hold their position of 4th place in the league, and at the same time closing in on the top 3. Villa fans will be delighted with Gabby Agbonlahor's performances this month as he scored 8 goals in 6 games. Aston Villa sent out another clear message to the Premier League with their 3-1 thumping of previous Premier League Champions Chelsea. With only 10 games left in the league can Villa really keep up this form or are we asking a little bit too much, only place to find out is here.

David Beckham commits to Aston Villa as he says 'There is no way I am leaving Aston Villa for FC Bayern'

View attachment 96649View attachment 96651

Villa fans have been elated with the news this morning that their manger David Beckham has confirmed his status at the club and is not going anywhere. He has been quoted saying:

"I have started a job at Aston Villa I intend to see it out, I have developed a strong squad we have new facilities and a drive to win trophies here. So why should I move, we here at Villa want success and I intend to bring it"

So Villa fans can rest assured that their favourite man of the moment is here to stay, with them flying high in the league and still in the Europa League and FA Cup there could be an exciting season ahead.
