Wigan Finish November League Games Sky High!
Wigan were on a roll! With eight goals in their last two games although they had conceded four, it was their best run since Neville had taken over! and they were moving in the right direction! Up the table! Wigan knew that Wolves were also struggling in 16th so knew it would be a vital game and one where they could secure all three points!
Wolves 1 - 3 Wigan
Henry (43) - Neymar (7) Diame (23) N'Zogbia (59)
Wolves needed the points but Wigan came out fighting especially young starlet Neymar as he scored for Wigan within 7minutes! Neymar now scored 6 goals in his last 3 goals! The striker is truly coming into form now! Wigan went 2-0 up as Diame scored after 23 minutes and Henry clawed one back just 2minutes before kick off to put pressure on Wigan! Wigan came out all guns blazing as they managed to ****** a third goal and kill off the game as N'Zogbia scored again for Wigan with 30minutes to go! Wigan just defended for the rest of the game and saw out the 3-1 win!

Nottingham Forest Host Wigan In Quarter Final Clash!
Wigan looked all set for the quarter final clash in the Carling cup against Nottingham Forest! Wigan wanted to take their current form into the game and dominate from the first whistle! Where as the lowest team left in, Nottingham forest were also in good form and were positioned 5th in the championship!
Nottingham Forest 1 - 4 Wigan Athletic
Findley (33) - Rodallega (22, Pen.82) G.Caldwell (45) Wilson (Og.54)
Wigan had done it! They had reached the Semi final of the league cup! it was a exciting day for every Wigan fan in the country as they were on their way and just one game away from Wembley! Nevilles tactics worked again as Rodallega popped up early to net the first goal! Findley made some space in the area after Nottingham forest played some good football and put the ball in the bottom corner to bring the scores level! Gary Caldwell then headed the ball into the net on the stroke of half time from a corner! Wilson scored an own goal within 9minutes of the second half to give them an uphill battle now as Wigan were in control! Some sloppy defending lead to Wigan's fourth as Wilson brought down N'Zogbia and Rodallega finished the spot kick! Wigan had won and progress to the nest round!

Four Wins On The Bounce For Valiant Wigan!
Since dropping to the lower end of the table following two hard months, Wigan have picked up their form and motivated themselves to three successive wins! They have had a fairly easy run of games bu Neville needs to keep his men motivated and his men keep the charge! Wigan were looking at making a fourth straight win as they faced Stoke who were there positions lower than them!
Wigan 1 - 0 Stoke
N'Zogbia (14)
The scoreline doesn't represent the game one bit, Wigan dominated but failed to convert their chances as Begovic was on top form in the Stoke goal! Stoke made a few chances but only managed to hit the target 6 times! And Al Habsi was determined for a clean sheet! N'Zogbia put Wigan one up with just under quarter of an hour played and from their on Wigan dominated creating 18 shots but only hitting the target with 10 of them! Wigan claimed all three points as they saw out their 1-0 win and moved up to 9th in the table!

Wigan lately have found some great form, and in turn it has boosted them up the table as they continue their best run of the season, today Wigan host high flyers Blackburn at the DW Stadium and confidence is always high at home! If Wigan are to win, they will now have won 5 on the bounce, but it was set to be a tricky encounter for the Latics!
Wigan 4 - 1 Blackburn

The scoreline was maybe a bit harsh on Blackburn who were causing just as much trouble as Wigan, but it was a game of football and a game which meant you had to take your chance or you'd pay for them! Neymar took his first chance and slotted the ball past Robinson to make it 1-0! He added his 2nd 13minutes later and he netted his hatrick after just 39 minutes after a long ball over the top from Gary Caldwell! Wigan were 3-0 up and cruising by half time! They continued to hit the target and Steven Caldwell scored again from a corner as he headed it to the ground! Blackburn were finally let into the game when Jones found the net from 3yards after some sloppy defending and goalkeeping! Wigan set up more defensive after this and saw the match out! As they won 4-1 and had now won 5 in a row! Wigan were closing down the pack rapidly! Neville was ecstatic with Neymar's form!

N'Zogbia Runs Seaside Show!
Gary Neville really had his team working hard to restore their recent defeats when they were playing the top 6 teams in the English Premier League! But whatever he had said seemed to work as Wigan were on a run of 5 successive wins, and now they faced a low Blackpool side toying with the relegation zone, If Wigan won, they could move up as high as 6! This would surely please the board, Wigan looked towards the seasiders as they wanted another 3 points!
Blackpool 1 - 3 Wigan
Taylor-Fletcher (76) - Rodallega (29) Donovan (37) Neymar (86)
N'Zogbia dominated this game by himself and wasn't even on the scoresheet! He tore up the right wing as he claimed assists on all three of the Wigan goals! His fantastic cross in the 29th minute for Rodallega who headed home from close range before a superb switch to Donovan and fancy footwork gave Wigan a 2goal lead at half time! Blackpool got into the game with 14minutes to go as Taylor-Fletcher found the net from a corner! Neymar wrapped the game up though with his 14th league goal this season after N'Zogbia beat two players and squared the ball for Neymar to pass into an empty net! Wigan were now undefeated in 6!

Chelsea Vs Fulham
Aston Villa caused a shock as they knocked out Holders Manchester United in the Carling Cup quarter final! They had now drawn a home tie for the first leg against over achieving Wigan Athletic who knocked out Nottingham Forest to get here! In the other Semi Final Chelsea Will Host Fulham At Stamford Bridge for the first leg!
