Ruthless Wigan Dominate Boxing Day Win!
Wigan were standing high, dominating their games and scoring for fun! and they were excited at the prospect of welcoming West Ham to the DW Stadium. Wigan seem unbeatable at the moment as they look to press another three points into the table and continue their recent emphatic climb!

Wigan 4-0 West Ham
Donovan (21) Rodallega (27, 36) Neymar (84)
Wigan secured their seventh successive win as they continued an emphatic run under manager Gary Neville! Neville knew what it was like winning and really taught his players how to play good football! Donovan scored for Wigan after just 21minutes as he kicked off the game and Rodallega doubled Wigans lead just 6 minutes later! 9minutes after Rodallega's first he netted his second from a tight angle smashed to the far post! Wigan were comfortably 3-0 up at Half time! Neymar went on to score the win in a not so exciting second half as Wigan tore West Ham apart. Wigan now sat 6th and level on points with Manchester City!

Wigans Christmas Spirit!
Wigan were in an emphatic run of form lately but were set to face fierce rivals Bolton at the DW Stadium! With seven games won on the trot for the Latics Neville had seemed to mastermind his side to winning ways! This fixture at the start of the season ended 2-2 at the Reebok! Would their be a clear winner in todays game though?

Wigan 2 - 1 Bolton
Rodallega (45+2, Pen.75) - Davies (79)
Wigan looked exceptional yet again as they faced tough rivals Bolton! These two were evenly matched before kick off with most pundits gambling on a draw the likely result! After a tightly contested first half Rodallega scored just before the break with an exceptional solo effort which ended with him rounding the keeper! He got his second with 15minutes to go as he was brought down by Cahill in the box and converted the penalty! Davies pulled one back for Bolton four minutes later but it wasn't enough to bring Bolton back into the game!

Birmingham Hold Wigan To Welcome In 2011!
Today was the first day of 2011, a new year and one that Wigan would hope they started the way they ended 2010! Wigan were on a fantastic run of wins and didn't look like holding up any time soon whilst Birmingham were in a tough relegation battle down the bottom end of the table!

Birmingham 2 - 2 Wigan
McFadden (Pen.45+2) Jerome (66) - Rodallega (10, 58)
Wigan didn't look at their best and it looked like many of them were struggling with hangovers from new years eve! But Rodallega managed to jump on a chance after just 10minutes with a shot to the bottom left corner! Birmingham pulled one back just before half time though as N'Zogbia fouled Jerome inside the error and McFadden scored the penalty kick! Wigan took the lead again through Rodallega this time from just 6yards out but again they were cancelled out 5minutes later as Jerome found the net! Birmingham earnt the point by coming back from behind twice but Wigan remain in 6th place!
