They scored against the run of play with a freaking corner, he only type of goal I'm conceding this patch...

25 total shots, 10 of which were long shots, they had more corners and free kicks so again more likely for them to score.
Looks like you just throw the ball forward and your players shoot on sight, would explain the long shots and likelyhood that those chances weren't put away.
Got sacked by Corinthians with 5 games to go. I was top by 4 pts, had already won the state championship and I was in the semis of the cup. Is this a glitch/bug or am I just incredibly unlucky/cursed?

How many points did they want you to get? It could be that they wanted 15 from 5 games due to you leaking something to the press or not fulfilling one of the board promises (style of football or something). Other than that, I've no clue why they would sack you. Was there a board takeover or something?
If you read the the post from the link it explains the circumstances. No board promises / takeovers etc. If this is a bug its a HUGE one.
Are the players completely retarded?
One of my top defenders keep doing horrible tackles, warned him 3 times then finally when he lost us the FA cup thanks to a stupid tackle I fined him 1 weeks wages. Of course he became unhappy.. 4 months later, still unhappy, tried saving and talk him out of it but there is no option that works. Refuses to accept a new contract and neither captain or vc can talk to him.
He spent the entire world cup sulking on the bench (best defender in the team) but as hes unhappy they won't play him. 1 weeks wages vs. the world cup.. Realy?!?!

Switching between tactics mixes up every player... HELP!!!

I decided to start playing fm14 only after the x-mas patch after playing the beta version.
Now I'm on the 14.2 version and have a problem...
After making my first tactic ( suppose a 442) and setting all the roles and duties and instructions etc, when I go on to add my second tactic (suppose based on the same 442 model i.e. starting with the same basic 442 as in first and then start changing the shape to eventually a 4-2-3-1 and then saving it. ) what happens is that all my players get mixed up when I shift from on tactic to the other.
For eg-
In 442 if Suarez in my CF and Aspas is DLF and Sakho is CD then when I change to 4-2-3-1 and want Suarez to be AF and Aspas to be Second Strkr(at AMC position) and Sakho to stay as such, but what happens is that suarez goes to CM position and Aspas goes to Full back position and Sakho becomes the striker and all their Roles and INSTRUCTIONS are changed or deleted and hence forth for all other players.

My keeper is near the end of his contract. Now he earns 15k/week and that greedy ******* want 92k/week when I offer him a new contract. Obviously I can't afford that much and now he is going to left for free. In a club where nobody earns more than 40k he wants more than 90. Realistic as ****

On my Derby save I am getting sooo many draws its like every match is scripted against me. I have 30 shots in a game and not one of them goes in WTF

Well I have played football manager of one variation or another since roughly circa "83 and kevin toms version, I started going off the game around the 2012 version, imo the morale system although with good intentions breaks the game and is completely unrealistic in many cases, 2013 was worse. I was not going to buy this game but have and feel it is terrible. The thing that always seperated this game above the rest was the fact the match engine and game mechanics reacted to user input. Other management sims would just churn out results and this now feel the same to me. Its ok managing the big teams but that has never been my way. It just does not make any sense sometimes in games or form, no matter what changes you make, formations use or players sign it feels disconnected. Maybe after so many years and literally thousands upon thousands of hours the game is tired to me.

Usually they want retirement and will on?y continue playing if they get a big contract. Tho if they go free agent and dont retire straight away, their demands become lower. Look at Zlatan, when PSG finally releases him he'll be around 35 and still want more than 200k to continue playing.
He's not going to retire because he's 25 now and spent his entire career in my club (Eintracht). I know that demands of free agents are lower but I've never ever been able to sign a player who just left my club. I think the only way out is to find a new keeper

Player wanted a private chat for more first-team football, I agreed and told him I'd give him a chance in the first team over the next month, dunno why he was complaining because by mid december he had 19 appearances for me, unfortunately the winter break happened immediately after this conversation.

Despite all the frustrations I've posted over the last month I feel I have to balance things up & report a situation where I had the luck for a change. Not all the time you see the AI appear to get "done right over" but to my delight I think I witnessed it last night.
I was 2nd with FC United & needed a Rochdale slip up to 19th placed (but safe) AFC Telford otherwise I would've finished 2nd due to being 3pts behind.
Having kept up my side of the bargain by defeating Grimsby, Rochdale were 2-0 up with 13mins to go. An own goal in the 77th minute made it 2-1, an equaliser in the 80th made it 2-2 & unbelievably another Rochdale own goal in the 90th minute made it 3-2. The result sending me up on GD.
If roles were reversed I would be outraged!

I wonder who is testing the patches before they go public, is it a blind person who does the testing because i can't imaging anyone with a normal sight is not seeing this ****.
