Ra?l Gonz?lez Blanco - The Prince of Madrid returned.

Soto looks awesome, especially for a free transfer. Btw I'd recommend you hold on to some key players, like your current Captain. By putting a price on every player, you might become the next Arsenal. (No offense intended to Arsenal fans).

I admire the way you go through with your transfers, I'm far far far worse. Some brilliant captures on free transfers and selling them for huge profits is awesome.

I won't sell either of my centre-backs unless they become out-grown by my regens, the hardest thing to build is a solid centre-back partnership. I had an offer of 45.5m for Doria in the summer.

UEFA Champions League Group Stage
Tuesday 2nd October 2018

The Hawthorns

West Brom 1 - 0 Lyon
Kondogbia (78')

MOTM: Geoffrey Kondogbia

A good, strong win again in Europe with a goal late in the second half from the Frenchman Kondogbia. Lyon fans will know all too much about him as he has destroyed them many times before whilst playing for AS Monaco. It was his first goal of the season and it was expertly taking when it fell to his feet on the edge of the area.

Barclays Premier League
Sunday 7th October 2018

The Hawthorns

West Brom 3 - 1 Tottenham
Bruma (39'), Pedro Obiang (53'), Kondogbia (80')

MOTM: Jose Valdir

We added to Tottenhams miserable start of the season by giving them a lesson in football. They are currently languishing just above the relegation zone and have one win in eight. We took the most of them being off form and smashed a trio of goals past them.

Barclays Premier League
Saturday 20th October 2018

Britannia Stadium

Stoke 0 - 1 West Brom
Zouma (55')

MOTM: Doria

Stoke gave us a tough time today, not allowing us to settle on the ball and hounding us with pressure as soon as we received it. They pressed as a team and was well organised, it was very hard to break them down and we won the match from a set-piece from Kurt Zouma. Stoke put in the best performance against us I've seen this season.

UEFA Champions League Group Stage
Tuesday 23rd October 2018

The Hawthorns

West Brom 0 - 0 Besiktas

MOTM: Siyanda Xulu

This was one of those games where the opposing keeper had one of the best games in their career and you look back and think how did we not score? The play and performance from the lads was spot on but we should have had five or six against Besiktas, we will make that right on the return fixture in Turkey.

Barclays Premier League
Sunday 28th October 2018

St Mary's Stadium

Southampton 2 - 4 West Brom
Soto (27', 48', 73'), Doria (40')

MOTM: Andres Soto

Well another masterclass performance from the Argentinian youngster who has been tarred with the same brush as Lionel Messi by alot of pundits but he still has a way to go. A hat-trick wont hurt his chances though and make everybody aware of his talent.

Capital One Cup Fourth Round
Wednesday 31st October 2018

The Hawthorns

West Brom 2 - 1 Notts Forest
Reinilson (65'), Nilton (75')

MOTM: Reinilson

Brazilian magic!! Both the Brazilians who scored and joined us from their home nation are on the fringes of the first team and put in a really good performance. There was also eye-catching performances with others, and as I've proved before I can throw them into the team in the Premier League.

Barclays Premier League
Saturday 3rd November 2018
The Hawthorns

West Brom 2 - 1 Norwich
Rodriguez (41'), Jose Valdir (54')

MOTM: Ulises Arrieta

Norwich are fast becoming a strong force in the league, after being taken over and having investment pumped in, they have signed some quality regens and are capable of maybe securing a top four spot this year, we still had enough to overcome them though.

UEFA Champions League Group Stage
Wednesday 7th November 2018

Inonu Spor Kompkeksi Vodafone Arena

Besiktas 0 - 2 West Brom
Reinilson (63, 87'), Pedro Obiang sent off

MOTM: Reinilson

The story of the day was all about the big 6'5 Brazilian man Reinilson, scoring a duo against Turkish opposition to put it in pole position to qualify from the group should we secure a result in our next game. The Turkish fans made us feel very welcome before the match as we was greeted with death threats and missiles launched at us, it didn't prevent us from spanking them though.

Barclays Premier League
Saturday 10th November 2018

Anfield

Liverpool 3 - 5 West Brom
Pedro Obiang (6', 15'), Soto (20'), Luis Fernando (69'), Ioannou (90')

MOTM: Pedro Obiang

Although the match seems close, it wasn't. The referee had a terrible game today awarding four penalties which none of them looked valid, three to Liverpool and one to us. The ref spoilt the game for us as we could of crushed Liverpool and kept a clean sheet.

I also received this after the game something I've never seen before:

The Hawthorns

West Brom 3 - 1 Benfica
Jacquet (78'), Bolivar (87'), Soto (90+3')

MOTM: Jean-Remy Jacquet

What a fantastic comeback!! We was heading into the last 15 minutes a goal down before I set both of the full-backs to attacking to go bombard the wings and create an option and they both ended up in the scoresheet and won us the game; a mastermind touch in management.

Barclays Premier League
Saturday 1st December 2018

The Hawthorns

West Brom 3 - 1 Cardiff
Soto (29'), Douglas Costa (50'), Luis Fernando (86')

MOTM: Douglas Costa

Little Douglas Costa put in a performance of the highest quality today with two assists and a goal to himself, the Brazilian was the key difference between the two sides as all afternoon he was a threat with his direct running and deadly dribbling ability.

Barclays Premier League
Tuesday 4th December 2018

KC Stadium

Hull 1 - 1 West Brom
Douglas Costa (45+1')

MOTM: Douglas Costa

We wasn't at our best today and Hull exposed that, a few players put in sub-standard performances and some harsh words was dished out after the game from me, I expect nothing but the best and keeping players on their toes to make sure they dont get too comfortable.

Barclays Premier League
Saturday 8th December 2018

Stamford Bridge

Chelsea 0 - 1 West Brom
Gabriel Barbosa (59')

MOTM: Victor Wanyama

A crucial away win at Stamford Bridge. A real poachers finish from Gabriel Barbosa was enough to seal the game for us, it could have gone either way the game and I wouldn't disagree with Jose if he feels like his team deserved a point but we was ruthless and took all three.

UEFA Champions League Group Stage
Wednesday 12th December 2018

Stade des Lumieres

Lyon 3 - 1 West Brom
Doria (69')

MOTM: Pierre Flament

We was already qualified in first place and we have tough games in the league coming up so I gave alot of fringes and youth players a taste of Champions League football, Lyon made the most of the opportunity and took their points but I'm happy with a 1st place finish in the group.

Barclays Premier League
Saturday 15th December 2018

The Hawthorns

West Brom 2 - 1 Man City
Reinilson (19'), Ioannou (78')

MOTM: Reinilson

YES!! Big revenge on the cards after losing the league on goal difference to them last year and it was a return to The Hawthorns for Will Hughes and Mauro Icardi whom both failed to impress and didn't come back to bite us in the bottom, a big, big three points in our season.

Capital One Cup Quarter Final
Tuesday 18th December 2018

Stamford Bridge

Chelsea 0 - 1 West Brom
Reinilson (3')

MOTM: Reinilson

We make it two wins over Chelsea in ten days and both in their backyard keeping a clean sheet both times! A early goal from Reinilson was enough to keep hold onto all game and give us the win. We progress into the Semi-Finals and could have a chance of regaining the cup this year.

Capital One Cup Semi Final draw:
Arsenal v West Brom

Barclays Premier League
Sunday 23rd December 2018

Emirates Stadium

Arsenal 2 - 2 West Brom
Rodriguez (48', 89'), Jose Valdir sent off

MOTM:
James Rodriguez

We earn a respected draw at The Emirates. After an early sending off and a goal for Arsenal I feared the worst but we showed character and determination to bring the game back even when it happened again James Rodriguez gained us a point with a last gasp goal.

Barclays Premier League
Wednesday 26th December 2018

The Hawthorns

West Brom 3 - 0 Crewe
Gabriel Barbosa (6', 15'), Zouma (11')

MOTM:
Gabriel Barbosa

Three quickfire goals inside the first fifteen minutes was enough to see off Crewe. What I will say now is that I will take my hat off to Crewe for the way they have gotten into this league and the philosophy they play with, they havn't spent bags of money they have trusted in their youth players and that is what got them here, although they are occupying a mid-table spot now it's a long season and I hope they stay up.

Barclays Premier League
Saturday 29th December 2018

Portman Road

Ipswich 1 - 1 West Brom
O.G. (1')

MOTM:

What a disappointing end to a positive month, we didn't even deserve a point here against Ipswich who are relegation fodder. It has also opened the door for potentially other teams to come and challenge for the top spot. The downside of the month.

Just three incomers this January, Aitor Herrera (I remember KLIPPYBO having a regen with a similar name?) Quintero was brought in as a likewise replacement for an outgoing player and Perotti was brought in as rotation.

The first loan was purely on the fact I want Ioannou to get as much football as possible as he will no doubt be a world class player once fully matured but he was having on/off form for us. Bruma who was brought in on a free in September was sold for a sweet 21m which is yet again excellent on the part of business and we have replaced him short term with a experienced Diego Perotti. As for Alen Halilovic I thought he would have his breakthrough this year but despite one good month he has been very bad and replaced by Quintero of Porto.

Total Received: 41m

Profit of 21.3m made.

Oh man, you're earning the club a LOT of money, Bruma was signed for free, must be helping your finances? I do hope you reduce it when you reach the highest level(Among top European clubs), because it's hard to see a fan favorite go. :P We all are like the fans here watching matches, I'd taken a liking to Alen Halilovic and to see him leave for MUtd :/

Barclays Premier League

West Brom 2 - 1 Newcastle
Rodriguez (31'), Bruma (37')

MOTM: James Rodriguez

A tight win against a strong looking Newcastle team including former players Dawson and Ljajic. They had a strong core and spine of players but was exposed on the wings and it showed as both of our wingers got on the scoresheet today.

FA Cup Third Round

West Brom 3 - 1 Wolves
Ioannou (6'), Douglas Costa (43'), Soto (71')

MOTM: Andres Soto

A great win today against our rivals in the cup. We are still in every cup this year and fatigue could set in which is my only worry, we will try and rotate in the upcoming weeks to cope with the heavy demand of matches.

FA Cup Fourth Round draw:
Fulham v West Brom

Capital One Cup Semi Final First Leg
Tuesday 8th January 2019

Emirates Stadium

Arsenal 2 - 2 West Brom
Halilovic (62'), Douglas Costa (90+3')

MOTM: Alen Halilovic

A last second rescue from Douglas Costa to make us level bringing the tie home to us and in the home of the fans which have been excellent recently and have acted like a 12th man on the pitch at times, I'm confident we can beat Arsenal and progress to the final.

Barclays Premier League
Saturday 12th January 2019

Molineux

Wolves 0 - 2 West Brom
Soto (53'), Zouma (88')

MOTM: Douglas Costa

Another comfortable win at the rivals yet again. Days like these are brilliant for us and the fans but on paper are no more than three points but we still can enjoy our football without placing too much pressure on ourselves. Zouma scored in the 88th minute was celebrated massively by the fans after news that a 39m bid from Man Utd was rejected and he had no intentions of leaving or even speaking to them as he feels at home.

Barclays Premier League
Tuesday 15th January 2019

The City Ground

Notts Forest 0 - 2 West Brom
Pedro Obiang (15'), Rodriguez (57')

MOTM: James Rodriguez

Another clean sheet and comfortable victory for us against bottom of the pile Notts Forest. A reporter notified me of the stats after the game and only having 20 touches in our half all throughout the game was pleasing and made us feel we had done more than just score goals.

Barclays Premier League
Sunday 20th January 2019

The Hawthorns

West Brom 1 - 0 Wigan

MOTM:

One of those games today which every team has in a season, scrappy and terrible football at times but it was a header from a set-piece which won us the game which I will take and go home happy with.

Capital One Cup Semi Final Second Leg
Wednesday 23rd January 2019

The Hawthorns

West Brom 3 - 2 Arsenal (5-4 agg)
Reinilson (22', 50', 79')

MOTM: Reinilson

WE'VE DONE IT AGAIN! We reach the final for the 3rd time in 4 years and hopefully can make it three wins. A excellent individual display from Reinilson who was brought in from Cruzeiro for 170k. He has been excellent and will remain for us for the future, he has a long way to develop and could possibly make me change the formation to play with two strikers.

He was a beast for me on FM 13, he still has those Preferred moves in FM14? "Shoots from distance"? That sucks. But he also has "Places Shots", which will mean less wasteful shots as he gets older, in his prime he'll be tearing league apart.

We have been scoring in abundance recently and a hat-trick from another one of our strikers today is excellent and gives me a headache of who to start with up front. The biggest margin of win this season and helps push our goal difference higher.

Yeah that is true, this year what I've lacked is somebody taking the frontline by the balls and scoring goals.

Would be good if you shown players attributes a bit more (real players not regens), but that's my opinion and each to their own I guess.

nonetheless, I've just spent the last few hours reading this (and I never read stories) and it was brilliant mate! Keep it up. Your tactics look superb too and the money you're generating is unreal!
