Raikan007's Perfect 4-2-3-1 Amc tactic

Couple of things i've noticed after using this tactic:

1 - Striker doesn't seem to score enough as of yet.
2 - Far far too many shots are long shots
3 - A large percentage of shots are off target.

This may be my team of course but I am using it with Real Madrid..

Edit: Well disregard the first point; Higuain is on fire I think it was a confidence issue with the strikers

this tactic started off weak then it kicked in and I got 20 goals in 3 games but then its died off again and its not doing much. The only changes I've made that haven't been suggested is taking of long shots (I hate long shots).

I've tweaked the tactic a bit in a chance to hopefully get the goals in, but it just seems a game engine thing. All plays do is shoot at the keeper or shoot over. Shoot when there is a passing opportunity.

all I can say is thankfully ur set pieces work :P

So far so good and i'm one and an half season's in. Got promotion first season;

As you can see I walked the league. Conceeding very few too. Here is some history shots of my main players;

So as you said in you O.P these are the main players for the tactic and it just proves that they are. Only downside is that i have like 25-35 shots each game near enough but only 25% of those are on target, and they also seem to shoot from long range when none of my players have that as a trait. Could i edit the tactic to stop that happening on the player instructions?

But, this is is an amazing tactic. Keep up the good work mate! :D

2) set work ball into box, exploit flanks and set Ronaldo's long shots to never, the AMR role has been set for HULK, so set it to never instead of often :)

3) change match prep to attacking movement :)

that is very strange mate, set all players long shots to NEVER, use TS: work ball into box and pass into space

awesome results there mate :) well done!

seems as though some people have the same problem, this was made around Porto with Hulk and James Rodriguez who love to crack them from range..

use the above suggestions to ensure that you do not always shoot from range :)

Seems to be much better now. Won La Liga by an 11 point gap over Barca, Won the champions League against Inter on penalties.

I didn't get a chance to read your reply before I realised that the AMR position had long shots on often! But now that is changed and a couple more tweaks here and there. It's working brilliantly now :)

I win almost everything in the league but lost big time against Inter away (5-0) I went all in attack when 2-0 so its my fault really.
It's still to early to say if it's a really good tactic for me to use but as stated earlier: i do like it.
 
Cheers for the suggestions mate i'll give it a go now. Into League 1 now after another promotion season, sat at the top but sick of wasting loads of chances i'll let you know how it all goes.

An update from me. I've used your tactic for several seasons in several saves, and it's my absolute favourite.

This tactic is working wonders for my Arsenal squad.

Won Premier League 2011, 2012, 2013 and I will win 2014 if this form continues.
Won CHL 2012, 2013. Lost final to Barcelona 1-2 in 2011.
Won FA Cup 2012, 2013
Won Super Cup 2012, 2013
Won League Cup 2011, 2012, 2013
Won community shield 2011, 2012, 2013
Won Club World championship 2012


The MVP of my team has without a doubt been the regen striker I managed to get from Boca in the first season. He has been absolutely outstanding in this tactic. The only thing I've changed is the attacker role from Poacher to Complete Forward.

The striker in this tactic is just a monster. Lucas Acuña has scored 32 games this season, playing 16 games.

I'm at work right now but I'll post a screen later.

I got him at the age of 18 from Boca I think, and I've never had a striker who has developed quicker than he has. He is 1 or 2 points away from his potential ability at the age of 22. Most of the regen strikers I've had in other saves has reached his peak at age 26-27, but this guy is just insane. By far the best transfer I've ever made, I had a £72 million bid from Real Madrid last season that I rejected. PA is 198 according to GenieScout and he's won best footballer of the year the past 2 years.

So far, his best games has been 5-3 against Manchester United where he scored 5 goals, 8-0 against Wigan where he scored 5 goals as well. He has got the rating 10.0 3 or 4 times over the last 2 seasons. He also makes a **** of a lot of assists. Last season I used your Deathslayer tactic, Acuna as the DLF and Aguero as the poacher. Acuna netted 35 goals and 33 assists or so, I'm not sure. Will SS later.



edit: One thing I'm wondering about though. Acuna has a pretty alright heading-stat as well, and the passing is set to feet (iirc). Any chance I could make more use of his heading-stat, using this tactic, with a little tweak?

yeah you could mate :) but as a playmaker the ball is best played to feet, target men are used for head and dont allow any sort of decision/passing/killer pass/long range shooting/running at defenders like the Dlf playmaker forward does, you can set float crosses instead which will ensure he can challenge aerially for the balls :)

good stuff dude :) if you are trying out a lot of the tactics, I would suggest using this one, it is a mixture of this and the Deathslayer tactic :) works a lot better than this :)

Alright mate, gave this a go as I wanted to finally use a formation with wingers.

Im Reading in 2014 season (Downloaded Tycoon Saved Game). In my first game, I used this I lost 2-1. Mainly becuase the players wasn't used to it. I've set my Match Prep to Team Blend, very high. This was because they was taking a while to adjust to the tactic. Everying but the tactic side is almost fluid.

I then went on a 7 game winning streak. (One loss in the CC to Sunderland). Beating Coventy 5-0 my biggest win yet. I have been beating teams with ease. Ive come to a bit of a slump though, I lost 4-1 to Norwich, but I think that was because I changed some players around to give them game time and then drew 1-1 the next game. Hopefully it will pick up next game.

I will post some screenshots later if I get on, if not they will be up tomorrow.

Yeah, the plan was to try out the CCC heaven with Acuna in front as a complete forward. Hence why I asked if it'd work in your thread. ;)
 
I started a new season with Porto using this tactic, as a bet with a friend of mine that is currently in 2019/20 and haven't won the champions league with Benfica yet.

In the first season I won everything I could, 5 trophies including the Euro Cup, I won 4-1 in the final against Leverkusen, that ****** Adler was a pain in the *** he still managed to get a 9.3 rating and be the best man after suffering 4 goals. I also eliminated Liverpool, 3-0 in both games, Villarreal, 4-2 away and 3-2 at home.
In the whole season I only lost 4 games and had another 4 draws.

My transfers were:
In:
Carlos Valencia - free
Vicent Enyeama - 500K (now he's worth 4.9M)
Kara - 950K
Axel Witsel - 2.1M
Mikael Lustig - 1.3M
Martin Zeman - 1.1M
Jonny Magallón - 1.9M

I adapted James to AMR because of his left foot, but he also played on the left at a certain time because both Varela and Vermut were injuried or recovering.

In the beggining of my 2nd season I sold most of my reserves players, the ones that start loaned.
Besides those I also sold:
Silvestre Varela - 7.5M to Milan
Cristian Rodriguez - 6.5M to Milan
Maicon - 2.5M to FC Twente
Fernando Belluschi - 5M to Valladolid
Emidio Rafael - 1M to Torino
Pawel Kieszek - 2.5M to Liverpool (after 1 season loaned to Bayern he was worth 2M)
Fredy Guarin - 4M to Sampdoria
Sapunaru - 2M to Torino
Helton - 4.2M to Siena

Some of my reserves players also sold for a nice money like Rabiola - 2M, Soares - 1.4M, Tomás Costa - 2M, etc.

In the end I got a really nice amount of money, I started with 7.4M, and I was getting 90%
of my transfers money so I end up with around 46M, already taking out money I had to pay to previous teams and stuff like that, after that I still got 3M for losing in the European SuperCup against Barcelona and 7.5M for joining the Champions League groups.

With that money I bought:
Eden Hazard - 14.25M
Paulo Henrique - 15.25M
Diego Renan - 6.5M
Guillermo Ochoa - 4M (I think it wasn't a good transfer since I payed that much money for a GK that will be in the bench, yea my Enyeama is that good xD)
Ondrej Mazuch - 1.4M
Steven Defour - 8.5M
Miguel Medina - 330K
Adam Hlousek - 650K
Leigh Griffiths - 600K

So far I've only done a couple of games, against Maritimo for Portuguese SuperCup, won 3-2, my first game for Liga Zon was against Benfica and I won 6-1, and then lost against Barcelona in the European SuperCup, a very disputed game that ended with an own goal of Enyeama, Pedro shot hitted the post and then hitted the back of Enyema =S.

This season my team will be something like this:

Well that's how it is so far, so once again let me say that this is an amazing tactic.

Also any ideas on how to further improve the team, be it change instructions to certain players, put other player in the team, new ones to buy, etc. are welcome.

awesome results Nitrohell, try and win the ECL this season :) I did the quadruple again with Porto in the 2nd season with this tactic :) Cedric Bakambu scored the winner in the 119th minute vs Inter if I remember correctly :)

I would look at another Striker, I sold Falcoa start of the 3rd season as he was a bit lithargic for this tactic and I would suggest someone like Seydou Doumbia or Vagner Love from CSKA, I got Seydou and he score about 16 in 12 games...

hufc, any team that has a good Amc/wingers and a striker would suit this tactic ;) if Celtic are your team then give it a go, hopefully it will win you trophies ;) good luck
