Raikan007's Perfect 4-2-3-1 Amc tactic

I did reasonably well with this tactic on my Boro save (got promoted and came 15th in my first season in the prem) but I swapped out the attacking mid for an anchor man and the team just went on a huge upward trend. Finished 7th then 2nd (although that was definitely just an overachieving season) and then 5th and 4th.

Not sure if its just me, might worth a try for people who have much better options at DM than AM.

This tactic is going great as always - Raikan makes the best tactics by far, been using the Perfect 4-3-3 for a while

Had a great start to the season, here are the results of my first 4 games:

Nolan Roux is banging them in, Tosic has been great filling in for Eden Hazard on the left. I have Haris Medunjanin playing at AMC, with Pablo Aimar as backup (may become starter once he blends in). Cabaye and Yann M'vila in the middle
 
Why does the AMR have roam ticked and tight marking no and the aml have roam unticked and yes for tight marking?

I ask this because I have Hazard and he is more creative than the player who currently play in my amr and the amr setting would suit Hazard better, would it effect the balance of the tactic if i swap the settings?

but da problem is only with my striker Ibrahimovic, pato more better than him in this tactic..
what should i tweak for striker like Ibra? change it to target man and hold up ball?
 
Gonna implement this for my less-than-stellar team - Cesena. I'm heavy with MF talent, so it should be a good fit, on paper anyways....
 
Played through the 2012-2013 season now and yet again a very successful run. Beat my previous records in the league when it comes to goals scored and least goals conceded.

Got some screenshots of Alan Dzagoev and Alex Teixeira who have been two of most important purchases and that have played very well. Alan Dzagoev's attributes have declined a bit due to overwork/overplay due to some long term injuries - he has pretty much played 90 minutes, every single match, for the whole season.

Hulk also did another great season but was out 2-3 months mid-season with an injury, so also his attributes dropped a bit.

hey mate, now that is exactly what I mean when I say you have to tweak tactics :) of course you are not going to come top 10 when you get promoted and use the same tactic, you have to be sensible and realise you are not going to be top dog and make adjustments and that would have been exactly what I would have done or told you to do (putting the DM instead)

thank you bud :) really glad to hear its working :) Roux is a great striker and highly recommended! maybe look at bringing in Dzaogev instead of Aimar and Haris who are getting on (Aimar) and good backup (Haris)

keep us updated and I hope you win a few titles...

just because I use Hulk in the AMR position and I like him to drop deep or run around looking to get the ball in all different area's of the field and my Rb is better at defending than my left back plus the Cmr is the defensive Cm who will cover the right hand side as well :)

Thanks mate, glad to hear that! this tactic suits Pato much better than Ibra, you can set Ibra to Treq and take the run with ball often and run from deep often sliders to sometimes or even never, give him a little more creative freedom and tick hold up ball.

Serp1, that is extremely, extremely impressive! Dzagoev scoring 33 goals :) hahahah! he played a lot better than my Alan in my latest season! that is fantastic, well done!
 
My update....

well this is the first time I have ever score 100 goals in any league and this makes it even more special as there are only 30 games in the Ligra Sagres which means that I scored an average of 3.33' goals per game and only conceded 0.36' goals per game for the entire season...

Seydou Doumbia had scored 16 in 18 games as well after signing for me in January...

I won the Champions League vs Inter by beating Arsenal and Atletico along the way (lost 1:0 to Arsenal at the Emirates though) I am unbeaten in over 28 games so far and have scored in every one of them :)

won the league with 3 games to spare, BWin cup, Millenium cup which makes it 9 trophies in two seasons including the Europa League and now the Champions League :)

Been using somthing like this on a network game with Liverpool, using 2 DM's instead of CM's though.
Just signed Necid though so might push the DM's up and see if I can get him to put 30 away in a season ;)

Nice work as usual btw Raikan, I tend to download all your tactics and use them as a base for my own aha.
 
Hey Raikan, first I must admit you did a very good job, this tactic is just awesome. I played with Shakhtar and Roma. Always dominating and scoring lots of goals. But now I decided to start a new game with Porto. I've been playing with Porto some time ago, with your Perfect 4-4-2 tactic and I was winning almost every game with 3 or 4 goals difference, most of them were scored by Hulk who was just awesome as a poacher, but now I am playing with your new 4-2-3-1 tactic and he is Inside forward and really underperforming. In 7 games just 2 goals and 1 assist with an average rating 7,26.

Six seasons on I've managed to win the title with Boro. I think it might be possible to win the league with a europa league quality squad using this tactic.
 
Made a few tweaks (ticked off "play offside", ticked "counter attack" and move the slider for defensive line to Deep) and I have to say this tactic is working brilliantly in my PSG save. I was undefeated but getting a lot of draws 1-1, 2-2 or 1-0, 2-1 type wins. After having this tactic in my match prep for a couple weeks (still not fluid) I am dominating teams, 5-0, 4-0, 5-0 so far and Pastore is lighting it up in the AMC role along with Hazard in the AML position. Thanks a lot for this tactic, it is getting the best out of my team, something I was unable to do with the one I was working on.

Another thing I have to complement this tactic on is the output of tackles per game by my MC and back. I have never had anyone in the top 5 in tackles in my many saves, now I have 3 in both France and Europe.
 
really really like this tactics as it allows you to play wingers and a forward but the problem is my players miss loads of chances, i just played a cup tie against a lesser team and had 30-odd chances only 2 ccc and won 1 0 to a cheat header from a corner? and no i dunt want to win every game 5 0 but when ur star man as 10 chances and blasts the ball out of the ground then gets a 5.6 rating ? any ideas???????????????
 
All a tactic can do is give your man the ball in front of goal. Whether or not he scores depends on his attributes, motivation, fitness, PPMs, etc.
 
I'm going to try this now with Feyenoord's 2011 squad, I'll have to tweak it a bit to counter more I think but this looks like it could be very good!

Too bad I can't afford any of your recommended players hehe
 
i know what ur saying pal but i have rooney lukaka nani young and valencia missing far two much then my midfielders pastore hazard poli are as bad blasting the ball here there everywhere, i'm not knocking the tactic just asking advise?why does everyone on here have to be so smart when someone is asking a question? where all on here for the love of the game!
 
If it's a problem you could try to adjust the Long Shots for each position. I haven't tested it out myself, but you could try it out and see how it works. Believe it's set to Sometimes for the attacking midfielders and striker, but you could try setting it to Rarely. It would probably cause players to pass/run the ball into the box instead of shooting from range.
