sorry to correct you but he didnt win a champs league, but my fav player of all time,
He was a true legend and was not just great becasue of his goal scoring his ability to beat a opponent was thrilling to watch. on the note with roberto carlos, is it jsut me but when i watch the brazil of now compared to back then i dont feel the same way about them , in that i feel they are a good team but nothing special.
Does everyone saying that he was the best striker ever think he was better than Pele, I take it?
Also, what do you guys think about his legacy vs. C. Ronaldo's? If C. Ronaldo keeps on playing as well as he has until his early 30's, will he be remembered to have been just as good? I missed Ronaldo's best years unfortunately since I got into the sport rather late in life.
it is too pitty that everybody calls him "the fat ronaldo" he is a great player and for me he will always be "EL FENOMENO"
Yeah he probably deserved the real "Ronaldo" nickname. Rather than Cristina

So you're gona remember him as being fat and useless? What a ridiculous thing to say.Thoughts? Personally I think he has left it to late, should have retired ages ago when he would have still been remembered as the star he was.
Agree with OP
no I meant many people will remember him that way which would be unfortunate. So you're gona remember him as being fat and useless? What a ridiculous thing to say.
Best striker football has ever seen, the real ronaldo.
Best player ive ever seen play. He is the real ronaldo, not the little girl from portugal.

Although he was a real legend, he is not commonly regarded as the best striker ever.
That crown goes to Pele, Di Stefano or Henrik Larson in my opinion...
