Stadium Expansion Completed
After so long of waiting, the expansion of Nene Park has finally completed and now it can accommodate up to 8656 fans.

Former Blackburn Rovers central midfielder Keith Andrews, has agreed terms with Rushden & Diamonds and will be joining his new club on 1st January 2014. The 33 year old player has been released by his former club since.

November Results
A great month for Rushden & Diamonds as they notched up 4 wins and a draw in this month. It's a very good victory especially against Derby, Reading and Wolves. On loan midfielder Junior Stanislas had an excellent game against Reading as he bagged his first hattrick ever for The Diamonds.

After the 2-0 victory over Derby County, Rushden & Diamonds finally reached the summit of the Championship for the first time in their history and since then, they have been maintaining that pole position very well and now have a 5 point lead over 2nd place, Middlesbrough.

December Results
This was one of the most fantastic month for Rushden & Diamonds team as they recorded 6 victories and a draw out of 7 matches that was played. They managed to gun down a few top clubs such as Sheff Utd, Middlesbrough and Portsmouth. Mats Rits scored his first goals for The Diamonds as he netted twice against QPR which Rushden won 4-0.

Rushden & Diamonds are still on pole position but this time round, they have a massive of 11 points lead over 2nd place, Middlesbrough. Even though it's only mid way through the season, the future looks bright for Rossi's boys to achieve an automatic promotion spot to the Premier League.

As soon as the January transfer window was opened, Rushden's boss wasted no time and managed to capture out of favour Barcelona youngster, Jose Carlos Terron who plays as a left back.

January & February Results
As soon as the new year arrived, Rushden & Diamonds had to face Huddersfield in the 3rd round of the FA Cup which they lost 1-0. After that disappointing defeat, Rossi's side recorded a few good victories especially against Watford and a 3-1 home win over Doncaster where Engin Bekdemir scored his first ever hat trick for Rushden & Diamonds.
Rushden started off the month of February with a 5-1 thumping of Scunthorpe and following that an away draw at Norwich City. Leicester City became another Rushden's victim as they went down 2-0 at Nene Park. Rushden & Diamonds 26 match unbeaten run came to an abrupt end as promotion contenders, Nottm Forest did the damage by beating them 1-0 at home.
League Table as at end of February
Rushden & Diamonds currently held a 8 point lead over 2nd place Middlesbrough with a game in hand. Rossi's boys suffered 2 losses so far and only left with 13 matches to be played.
Players Transfers Update
During the January transfer window, Valentino Rossi brought in a couple of new faces to the club and getting rid of Mark Byrne as well as out of favour striker, Danijel Subotic.

Rushden & Diamonds have secured themselves a Coca-Cola Championship playoff place after a 1-1 draw at home against Reading.

March Results
It's a very tight month for Rushden & Diamonds as they have to play a total of 8 matches in this month. They started off poorly with a home lost to Wigan and following that a goalless draw at Swansea in which Rushden were unlucky not to get away with a victory. Rossi's side started to turn on their gear by crushing Hartlepool as well as a nice victory over Charlton. To many surprise, Rushden & Diamonds stunned Derby County 3-0 as they dominated throughout the game at Pride Park. Reading managed to ****** a draw against the home side and Huddersfield showed Rushden that they were no underdogs by overcoming them 4-3 in an entertaining match. The last fixture of the month was against Burnley at home in which Rossi's boys won 2-1.

Rushden & Diamonds have secured a playoff spot after the home draw against Reading. They now have a 13 point lead over 2nd place Nottm Forest. With only 5 matches to go, Rossi's side only need to record one more victory in order to be crowned as the Champions!

Rushden & Diamonds have been promoted from the Championship and will be playing in the Premier League next season after drawing against Wolves!!!
Many were surprised including the board as well as the fans as they did not expect this promotion to be coming so soon.
