Stunning News!

Rushden & Diamonds boss Valentino Rossi was unable to stop the board from accepting a bid of $2.4mil from Newcastle for Davide Petrucci whom he consider as a future star. :(

Other Transfers

Valentino Rossi managed to snap up former Zaragoza striker Ruben Rochina on a cheap which many considered it as a coup.

Enthusiastic attacking midfielder Lee Tomlin was given the green light to go by his former manager in order to build up on his career. It was a tough decision for Valentino Rossi but he felt that it's time for Tomlin to move on.

A couple of good signings there. Shame about Tomlin though. :'(

Pre Season Results

Rushden & Diamonds had a fairly good warm up matches notching up 3 wins and 2 draws. The scoreline against GH Academy didn't reflect the amount of key chances that we had even though attacking midfielder Atila Filkor was sent off in the 2nd minute. A couple of nice results as well against top flight West Ham and Sunderland.
