Manchester City have today announced the signing of German international midfielder, Sven Bender. Bender joins from Dortmund in a deal rumoured to be worth 6M & is set to add some steal to the City midfield.

"I am very preased to wercome Sven to the ****** team" Announced new owner, Tuong Lu Kim. "He is a quarity prayer & I am sure he wirr strengthen our ****** midfield."

I got my major target but missed out on many small ones :/ People have offered quite higher wages than I have and I will need to Losen the purse next time out :D

Any cap on the number of signings mate?

same here as reflected by my lack of signings. On the flip side i am fairly happy with my current squad. Will see how things go this season and what inprovements are needed
 
It seems Juventus offered a higher wage for Renato Sanchez than Valencia!

Btw, are there no consequences for overspending in this window? Real Madrid are quite far in the red already, is there any point for the rest of us to try to at least have a positive balance, or is going far into the red completely fine?

Going into the red is fine, however I urge caution. While I have promised a significant tv rights deal, it is still fairly unknown just how the finances will play out. There will be severe consequences for teams that are still in the red at the end of the season following the addition of the tv money which can include losing all protection in the draft.

Also, super annoyed to have missed out on all my targets. Time to go on rampage mode in the second chance window.
