BAYERN MUNICH'S SQUAD OVERHAUL!
Following our abysmal start to the season, Ms. Hopkins has decided to have a shake up of the playing staff to help Mr. Pellegrini achieve our modified goals for the season.

OUTS
View attachment 167484
Manuel Neuer -> Manchester ****** (£35m + Joe Hart)
Obviously the move that's caused a rather large stir in world football, but he has been ****** this season so when we received the offer of this amount plus a world class goalkeeper for him it was a no brainer.

View attachment 167483
Thiago Alcantara -> Arsenal (£27.5m)
Probably the least notable of the 3 outs, Thiago wasn't getting enough game time due to the U23 players rule meaning that Brozovic was taking his place in the majority of games so we moved him on for a good amount.

View attachment 167482
Philipp Lahm -> PSG (£21.5m)
Captain. Leader. Legend. ****.
In all honesty, I'm the most sad about this, but he hasn't been up to the level that this great club needs so he had to go!

INS
View attachment 167481
Joe Hart <- Man ****** (P/Ex)
England's Number 1 becomes Bayern's Number 1! A definite upgrade on Neuer!

View attachment 167480
Hernanes <- Juventus (£8m)
With the switch to 4-2-3-1 for Pellegrini, we needed a backup CAM. Hernanes is that guy. And tbh, I quite like him as a player IRL.

View attachment 167479
Stephan Liechsteiner <- Juventus (£20m)
In my opinion, one of best RB's in the game currently - at the very least one of the most hard-working! He should be able to keep up with the game more than Lahm could, and is probably better at attacking!

View attachment 167477
Tin Jedvaj <- Leverkusen (£21.5m)
Continuing our policy of stealing the best players at German clubs, we take the talented Croat away from Leverkusen. Fits the U23 rule, and with the potential to be a top class CB or RB in the future.

View attachment 167476
Alessandro Florenzi <- Roma (£39.5m)
Another player who I'm a big fan of IRL - basically a more talented James Milner! Can play RB, RW, CM or CAM - Will let Pellegrini choose where to play him.

View attachment 167475
Baldé Keita <- Lazio (£18.5m)
An absolute steal! The picture says it all really, he can become incredible - and I have saves on FM which can back that up! Him, Coman and Rodriguez mean we have the left flank sorted for the next 10 years or so!

Now, let's march back up that table to where we belong!
EDIT: Ok, maybe not straight away :P

Calleri has already scored 3 goals in 5 matches! That's brilliant! If only we could have won against Leverkusen, we could have been in the Top 5! Well 8 points from relegation and 10 points from Top shows how tight the league is and every match counts! A detailed up date will be up soon :)

Aah.. We are the Aston Villa of this league... Relegation not very far away for Inter.

JANUARY UPDATE:

03/01/2016

View attachment 167439

A hard fought victory over my old club as new signing Caleri makes impact on the first day and grabs a brace. The pair of Depay and Caleri troubled the experienced backline of Milan but it was probably the injury to Pirlo which switched the match in our favor. Ibrahimovic was his magnificent self but our attacking 4 of Willian, Mata, Caleri and Depay were all brilliant! A good start to the month!

View attachment 167438

Another match and another hard fought win in the Platinum League. I haven’t heard this in a while but MANCHESTER UNITED have a comeback win. When I saw the Barbosa goal I wasn’t very hopeful as we haven’t won many matches coming back under Van Gaal but he fired the players up as Depay and Young got the goals for us. Young hasn’t been first choice but he has been very good off the bench and it is pleasing to see the fighting spirit, in him and in the entire team! GGMU!

A rear guard effort this time around as a defense leads by Mertesacker holds on to a clean sheet while Caleri grabs the decisive goal. It was good to see a United defense battling out with the strikers with hunger and passion. Per has amazing positional sense and he displayed it in the match, he even played few beautiful balls forwards as he justifies his switch to Manchester.

24/01/2016

View attachment 167436

A cagey affair was settled by midfielders as Cuadrado and Blind strike to share the spoils between the former Premier League Rivals. Chelsea has been flying this season while United have slowly established themselves. Blind who was moved to midfield following the signing Mertesacker showed good vision and intent to go forward and was rewarded with a goal. A decent point at the Bridge but I want more from the Boys. We aren’t far from the top and we can still give the top boys some jitters.

28/01/2016

View attachment 167435

Poor finishing and some questionable selections let us down today as we end a largely positive month on a sour note. Isco and Martinez score against us again and they have been truly wonderful for them. Some smart pickings by the chairman Lewie who must be very proud of his team performing so well. That said, leaving Caleri out was baffling and while Rooney did score the goal, he also slowed down our team moves. I will be asking Van Gaal some questions, he is doing well but he must not tinker much. Don’t fix things which are broken!

MONTH OVERVIEW:

View attachment 167434
10 out of a possible 15 is a good outcome in a Super League but at Manchester we always expect more. We slacked off at the end of the month and need to keep concentration up. The next month will be tricky with Barcelona, Dortmund, Inter and the Manchester Derby. February has always been our best month and I hope It proves to be true this time around as well!

Inter Transfers and January Updates

Transfers

Steven Gerrard

View attachment 1034299

Inter went ahead and snapped up Steven Gerrard from LA Galaxy to boost their midfield. It is hoped that he can inspire this Inter squad to move out of relegation.

Inter also bolstered the goalkeeping area by signing Miguel Moya from Valencia. Andrea Barzagli arrived from Juventus to provide cover at the back.

January Results

Barcelona 3 - 0 Inter

Hattrick by Messi. We could not do anything.

Inter 1 - 4 Dortmund

Loss at home. Bad defending from us and Dortmund took home all the points. Mancini needs to turn this around soon or else he might be out of job.

Inter 1 - 1 Man City

A point finally. Lucas Moura scores to give a valuable point to Inter. But we need some wins on the board as other strugglers are pulling away from us slowly.

Real Madrid 1 - 1 Inter

Another point won at Bernebau. It was an even game surprisingly and a draw was a fair result. If we do not get a point in the next game then it sure time for Mancini to go. Wins are just not coming by.

Arsenal 3 - 1 Inter

Another loss. Icardi scored again but defence needs to step up. We just cannot keep clean sheets right now.

What a season this is turning in to! PSG are the new leaders, while somehow out of nowhere Chelsea have snuck into the title race! four way race? What do you guys think? Barcelona have clawed themselves well out of the relegation battle but Bayern are still in the mix, with City dragged into danger as well. Inter look all but gone.

Barcelona and Bayern are th ebig winners this week, both gaining vital wins to help their relegation battles. Leverkusen continue enhancing their reputation as a form side with a win over Milan, while both Juventus and PSG stutter with draws against Real Madrid and Arsenal respectively. A promising start for Laurent Blanc as Real Madrid manager. Also want to give a massive shout out to Atletico who have been wonderful this season and pick up another hugely impressive win!

More wins for Barcelona and Bayern as they finally seem to have turned a corner! Juventus and PSG both back to winning ways and yet another huge win for Atletico as they beat Leverkusen to cement their place in the title fight! Chelsea progressing well with victory over Milan who seem to be really struggling now and Dortmund lose out to United and sack their manager!

Gameweek 23

We have new league leaders! PSG comfortably see of Bayern while Inter hold Juventus to a draw. Atletico pick up a point against Barcelona while Milan grab a huge win to boost their survival hopes. Diego Costa self combusts and gets himself sent off as 9 man Chelsea draw with Arsenal and Leverkusen comfortably see of Valencia who look to be in real relegation trouble.

Gameweek 24

Once again both PSG and Juventus draw, both Liverpool and Bayern doing really well to get their points. Real Madrid win the Madrid derby with a great performance against Atletico and Barcelona are beginning to shoot up the table with a 4-0 win over Valencia.

Atletico 4-0 Arsenal
A five game month in January gave Atletico the chance to keep the pressure on Juventus and PSG at the top. It started well as they welcomed Arsenal, who themselves were looking to make a late charge to the top. It was a fairly one sided game in which Atletico hammered the gunners 4-0 - goals coming from Gabriel Barbosa (2), Vietto and Griezmann.

Man Utd 2-1 Atletico
An away trip to Old Trafford followed and a game against a resurgent Man Utd team. Once languishing in the bottom 4, the red devils managed a win despite falling behind to a Barbosa strike. The young striker is showing signs of his potential now and even though this game ended in defeat, Simeone and Iglesias are still pleased with progress.

Atletico 3-1 Milan
Atleti welcomed the Rossoneri to Madrid in Gameweek 18 and there was to be no hangover from the Utd defeat. An early lead was established through young midfielder Kranevitter and it stayed 1-0 up to half time. Milan equalised through new signing Ramires before Barbosa scored his 4th goal in 3 games and Henrikh Mkhitaryan made the game safe with 15 minutes left.

Valencia 0-2 Atletico
Atletico made the short trip to Valencia looking to build on the Milan result. With the game heading to the interval goalless Yoann Gourcuff scored and swung the game in Madrid's favour. Luciano Vietto scored again just after the hour and from there Valencia rarely threatened.

Atletico 2-1 Chelsea
January finished with a top of the table clash against Chelsea. Madrid dominated the first half and rightly lead 2-0 at the break thanks to goals from the in-form strike duo of Barbosa and Vietto - each getting a goal apiece. Chelsea rallied in the 2nd half and got what was to be just a consolation through Oscar.

Top Scorer - January
Gabriel Barbosa - 5

The transfer window concluded with Atletico again buying players for the future. Two strikers were brought in in the shape of:

16 year old Christian Fajardo who will spend the next couple of seasons playing for the reserves.
Arkadiusz Milik signed from Ajax for £6m will provide competition for Barbosa and Vietto

Atletico 3-0 Dortmund
February began with a comprehensive win over Dortmund. The Madrid fans welcomed back former player Juanfran with open arms - some are still disappointed with his sale in the January window. It matter little by full time as two goals from Barbosa and a first goal for Milik won the game.

Leverkusen 0-1 Atletico
An early goal settled this tense game as Atletico all but guaranteed their participation in the Platinum League for another season and kept up the pressure on the other 3 teams vying for the title. Luciano Vietto scored his 12th league goal of the season. Another clean sheet for Jan Oblak in what has been a magnificent season for the big keeper.

Barcelona 1-1 Atletico
Nerves were jangling in this one as Neymar gave Barca the lead and they looked to try and increase that. No more goals were scored in the first half and forgotten man Angel Correa equalised 5 minutes into the second half. All in all a good point for Atletico as they went into the Madrid derby seeking revenge.

Real Madrid 2-0 Atletico
Another derby defeat left Simeone seething. His team just didn't get going and resident poster boy Cristiano Ronaldo got his teams second, rubbing salt in Atletico's wounds.

With a big month approaching in the shape of March, Atletico face games against Man City and Inter.

Top Scorer - February
Gabriel Barbosa - 2

Inter have today announced that they have parted company with Mancini. Recent results were not up to the scratch. Having failed to get the best out of the current squad, and being 6 points behind FC Bayern, the board have decided that parting ways is the best way for the club to move forward.

Inter have moved swiftly to appoint Antonio Conte as the new Manager. Regarded as one of the top coaches in Europe, the fact that he has taken on the challenge at Inter, in their current predicament, is already being viewed by fans as a significant turning point in their fortune.

Milan Update

We brought in only one player during this window, unfortunately I am a busy man and have been unable to find time to scout out new talent and bring them to the club.

Although we did manage to improve the midfield with the signing of:

Ramires
View attachment 167057

At £15 million and the fact I have been too busy to try and bring someone else in, I felt this was a great opportunity to strengthen the midfield.

Okay, so January was an extremely poor month for us in terms of results!! We managed just 1 win in 4 games to put us just above the relegation zone..not acceptable.

February has seen results improve slightly with 2 wins from 4 games to see us rise to around middle table, keeping us away from the dreaded drop zone!

Positives:
- Ibrahimovic staying injury free
- Ibrahimovic is joint top goal scorer with 14 league goals.
- Ramires scored his first goal for us
- I am among the top of the assist chart

Negatives:
- our position
-lack of players brought into the club

Talking point...
Is the fact that I am too busy to bring people into the club going to cost me in terms of relegation..we see each club running around like headless chickens grabbing all of the best young talent as quick as possible whereas I just about submit 1 request in time before the window closes. I have a feeling I will pay for this! Only time will tell!!

COME ON MILAN!!!

I only made 1 signing in Jan who came in straight away, and Sule is the only Summer signing who is a 'wonderkid' as such who is starting. Juve are the ones who went crazy on that. :P
