Persuasion is they key for Essien​

Michael Essien has today completed his return to internation football after new manager Sam Charnock asked Essien, 35, to return to international football, to help his side progress in the World Cup next year.
Essien who is still playing for Chelsea, has been there for almost 35 years, is said to be delighted to be back playing for his country.

Ghana's Road To Glory

The World Cup was finally upon us and the group stages weren't the easiest:

Somehow, we managed to squeeze into the last 16 of the World Cup, we lost to Brazil, somehow beat Portugal and drew against the US to confirm our place in the last 16 which is already a great achievement.


Ghana Go All The Way!

New manager Sam Charnock has proved that he was the right man for the job after getting to the final of the greatest competition in the world of sport. They've never battered a side, but they've squeezed through, despite not getting the hardest of side's against them, it's still an incredible achievement.

In the other semi-final it was England who reached the final, this surely is a fairytale for Ghana manager Sam Charnock, who is proud to be English and will surely be delighted that either Ghana or his nation England will be crowned World Cup winners.
"I would never begrudge England of winning the World Cup, I would love it if they won it, but I want to make the people of Ghana happy, this is a win-win situation for me, but I want to win the World Cup!"

Ghana vs England - World Cup Final
Sam Charnock's side leads Ghana out for the World Cup final, and him and Rio Ferdinand, share some pre-match words, no hard feelings it seems.

29 mins: Rooney shoots from outside the area, Ghana keeper Larsen fumbles the shot and Keiran Gibbs is there for the follow-up!! GOAL FOR ENGLAND!! no, but the goal's been ruled out for offside, sighs of relief for the Ghana.

37 mins: Otto intercepts the Rooney pass, and now England are on the back foot, Otoo skips past Gibbs, passes it back to Mensah, Mensah gives it to Essien and Essien plays a perfect pass for Otto who scores for Ghana!! GOAL FOR GHANA!!

Half Time: Ghana 1 - 0 England


54 mins: Jonathan Mensah trips Kieran Gibbs and the ref awards a penalty!! Sam Charnock is fuming!! He says that Gibbs dived!! Rooney steps up for the penalty!!.. GOAL FOR ENGLAND


81 mins: Essien intercepts the ball, plays a one-two with Prince Buaben, and Essien makes a run into the box which, Chris Smalling clears but only two Adiyah who slams it home!! GOAL FOR GHANA!

93 minutes: The ref blows his whistle!!


GHANA HAVE WON THE WORLD CUP!!!

I would love to take charge of a national team and Barnsley at same time :D
 
Very impressive. First time I've checked out this in a long while. I'm using a similar 433 with Wrexham currently and its got me very far, obviously on the same wave length ;)

Yeah, when I get promoted I don't like to play 4-5-1 or defensive tactics, I just like to go for it :)
