Scotland lose CL Spot

Obviously the English gain a lot of stimulation from rubbishing the Scottish League, but anyway:
I fear for many clubs in Britain and anything could happen to them financially, see the top 4 clubs in England, these debts will soon catch up and cripple all of them.
Get a British League sorted out before the English League slumps like Scottish the becuase this will attract new financial backers and TV revenue. Believe me, debts will cripple English football and we need a GB league.
Also, if the Scottish League does rise again as the English slumps, I think the SPL should stick up a finger and remind them of these moments.

GB League would never be accepted because the PL Chairman's would never agree to it, neither would the FA. I do agree that the debt of some of PL Clubs is silly but most of it is Manageable, I doubt the Portsmouth situation would occur again because so many Clubs have seen what has happened, to be honest, I would thought Pompey wouldn't of been so stupid after what happened to Leeds.
 
Had it coming, rules are rules. Hopefully we'll bounce back!

Edit: And in the England sub-forum? What about the Champions League and Scotland subforums?
 
Its only fair going by how badly we done but it was one bad season hopefully we will do better.
 
you all have to remember that over the last few years the teams celtic and rangers have beat over the last few years-

Liverpool
stugart
bovista
man utd
AC Milan
juventus
porto
lyon

all realy good european teams

Celtic And Rangers would not get relegated from the premiership both teams are as big as any other team in the world with an very very big fan base i think you should just concentrate on your own teams premiership survival

Well it would be impossible to know until it was tried, it will never happen though.
 
i know it won't happen and i'm glad it won't :P but with the money that gets thrown about down in England Rangers and Celtic would challange for the title
 
I personally think if Celtic and Rangers were in English football, I reckon they would be mid table in the Prem.

I hate to tell you but Danny Wilson sounds and looks bigger than Rangers and Celtic, he'll probably move onto bigger things. As for John Fleck, he hasn't had much of a run in the the Rangers team, so I can't really comment on him and Mogga needs fired like now.........
 
I'm not really worrying too much about this is there would be an extra entrant in the Europa league - the easier cup. Plus give Rangers or Celtic a year or too then they will have squads that can taken them to final again. They have taken the CLspot any on certain rulings, so surely they will have to give it back once Scotland recovers and climb the rankings/coefficients

I think after a few seasons when we got the cash wed probably become part of a top 6 due to our fanbase and reputation.

Who are you to judge our league and the others you just dismissed? What is it with your english superiority complex and thinking you have the God given right to totally trash our set-up?
Just ******* remember if it wasn't for Sky Sports and their money the EPL would still be behind the leagues of Spain,Italy and Germany and your teams would be getting put out of the champions league pretty ******* swiftly!
Stop ******* picking on our leagues and others,there are plenty of great pro's in these leagues and they're a credit to the game of football!

For the rest of you chaps who know that our league and the teams of Rangers and Celtic are struggling,yes we have slipped down the rankings due to some terrible results but we do have the ability to bounce back and while we might never get to the champs league final due to lack of funds and investors that most english teams have i'm sure we will have good nights for Scottish teams very soon!

I nearly died of laughing from that TBH. Right now, there are NO [well, no MORE] decent Celtic players, only good one we had was McDonald, who's now gone. [obviously the Fortuné thing is your opinion :P]

Honestly, even though this sucks, the performances in the European competitions this season kind of merits this happening. Rangers were ****** since they have nothing at all and Celtic were ****** 5 games into the season, even if we did win our first Away game in European competition.

Cheers mate,i'm under no illusion that our leagues struggling but people down south have really short memories! It wasn't that long ago we were goin down there and winning regularly,the money that Sky Sports and the worldwide coverage they get makes the difference,without that there would be no european adventures for the likes of Chelsea,Fulham,Bolton and Blackburn? I mean Chelsea really only came to prominance in the mid 90's and prob wouldn't be where they are today without it?

The kind of money they got elevated them to the upper echelons of English football,only Man U,Arsenal and Liverpool would still be successful without the copious amounts on offer!
People should think before they post ****,they forget that Rangers are the most decorated club in world football and that Celtic won the European Cup before any other club in Britain!
