Start of Season 2011/2012
Glenrothes have risen up in the Scottish football ladder, coming through two leagues in as many years. It is expected that they will battle, but ultimately be relegated come the end of the season –
media prediction 13th.
The Glens will be playing in the Scottish Premier League 2 this season which should attract bigger crowds to Warout Stadium. This season also brings entry in into the Scottish Super Cup with a massive grand prize of £50M. They will have to come through a tough group stage though:

Expectations are that the Glens just have to
enjoy the experience of this competition. The Scottish Cup is the other competition this season – the board expect the team to
make it to the Fifth Round this year.
It looks as though it may be a tough year for the Glens. Playing in a higher standard of league and cup competition may not produce the standard of results that the fans are used too, but the manager is confident that a few more signings could make the difference and keep them in this league!
