Spanish top 3 - Barcelona, Real Madrid...and A.D. Alcorcon?

Hey man, u are doing an unbelievable job, apologies havnt got back to your message, been mega busy with work and had laptop nicked, so have no game anymore, and had to reload everything, devastated. Going to wait till update comes out before I start a new game and get a story going. Pleased to see u are doing quality.

Its cool I just didn't see what I was going on so was just curious about what happened. Its no sweat I know what happens when you get busy with work and whatnot. Sucks to hear about the laptop though. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

Well done. I like the new layout :)

Sweet. I was wondering if you didn't get a chance to see it which is for the PM's. Also any ideas on what to change or add? Like I said I am just curious what I can do to make it better or to clean it up.

Yeah got another Laptop now. What skin are u using in the latest screenshots? I like look of them,

Vera (12) would do another chip shot from outside the box to get the game going in the first five minutes. Two minutes later a rebounded shot by Teixeira (1) would put it back at the five yard line to give us the two goal lead. We had a scary moment where Aragon would have to come out and would go straight to the locker room. He will be out for about a month with some broken ribs. Luckily we are getting back our other midfielder Genes from injury.

It was a very tough defensive game. A win gave us at promotion into the group stage with still two games to go. We would crack the lead with a goal in the 22nd minute as Georges (1) would score a goal with a couple of people laying on the ground. Dynamo wanted a foul called on Giovannelli on the corner as he and the goalie would jump up together and both would fall down. Georges was there to scoop up the ball as the defenders were already looking at the ref for a foul. None was given and that is how the game would end up. One sad note is that we lost Sanogo who pulled a hamstring in the game and he will be out for the rest of the month.

First half we would out shoot them 10-1 and yet we couldn’t find a goal. They would only be able to take five shots in the second half with just two on target, but one of them would go in as they would actually have the lead. It would last for just thirteen minutes as Teixeira (2) would score a goal that was blasted from 25 yards away to score the equalizer. It looked as if it would be the first tie league game for us, but two minutes in stoppage time Vera would be pulled down by a tug on his shirt. Villarreal would believe it was a dive and not a foul, but we got the PK shot. With Sanogo out it we would turn to Galarza (4) as he would calmly step up and score to keep the winning streak alive.

We needed at least a one-nil shutout to advance. We sat our one defender who had a rating of 3.6 last game against them, and actually started one of our starting defenders in this. Also had three more players who started last game as well start for this one. Still it would be our strikers who would score as everyone else mostly played defense as we would post a shutout. With that all we needed was one goal which Torres (1) would get his first goal for his new club. Bagnoli (4) just wanted to make sure as he had a hat trick even if one came from a penalty spot right before half.

Our midfield took a hit for fitness this game as they been playing a lot the month. Coach Ryan knew that Fernando Torres team would be up for it as they are a top four team. Especially with our fitness it looked as if this game would be a very tough struggle. All of our shots were perfectly placed, but De Gea was like Superman blocking every shot in the first half. We would be tied at the half which was great news, but again would fall in a hole early in the second half. Again exactly thirteen minutes later we would score a goal as Vera and Careca would keep passing it to each other in the final third before Careca (9) would finally crack Superman's armor as we would tie the game up. No penalty kick this game to give us the win as the perfect year is now out the window. “With the games coming fast now, and with some injuries especially to the midfield we will take the one point this game. I think most people though we should loss this even since it was at our place, but this is a good result. We still stay in first and don’t really lose any ground since Real Madrid and Barcelona tied as well today.

Vera (17) would dominate this game. Everyone knew it and it would should as in the second half he would post a perfect 10 rating. Not even one goal was from the penalty kick too, but he wouldn’t just stop at the hat trick, in the first half, as he would end the night with five goals. Those five goals now breaks the team record for most goals in a game that he previous held last year of four goals. Careca (10) would finally crack the double digit mark on the year as he would gather up a rebound shot from Vera to score his. Giovannelli (1) would be the other scorer off of a set piece sent in from Genes. The win is biggest win ever for the team.

LEAGUE AND ECC STANDINGS

View attachment 133686View attachment 133687View attachment 133688

The tie keeps us three points in first place and right now we are becoming one of the hottest scoring teams in the league. Currently have 35 goals while Atletico Madrid has 37 and one game up on us. Barcelona is the only team worrying us since we have one game on them and just five points behind us, but both of us are the only teams without a loss. Vera has dominated the league as he has scored 10 goals in 10 games, and Careca has 7 in 11 games. Still Vera is the only player who has a rating over 8 right now and actually is keeping quiet on the yellow card front.

As for Champs league it doesn’t matter about the last game. Still we are playing for the month which showed last game as we won huge when we have already advanced. Still we are even playing hotter there as in just five games we have scored an amazing 17 goals. Defense is a lot better, but then again the competition isn’t as great as some of the league teams we play.

So close this month even with both wins in the Champs League that we were just under 200K of losses of the month. It is getting very exciting just thinking if we can actually make money a month. Sure we need help from Champs games, but the promise land seems to be on the horizon as soon as we build or buy a new stadium.

We would for the second time only this year that we allow a goal within the first ten minutes. In the 13th minute they would go up by two. Vera (19) would tie the game up right before half with two first half goals. The second half we would turn up the heat as we would score four goals by four different players. The good news would be ruined as Hernandez would pick up his second yellow card of the match just two minutes after the last goal. We still have two chances afterwards of scoring with one beating the goalie only to hit the post while the other the goal would get a hand of it to slow it enough down for a defender to clear it before crossing the line. Hernandez (8) did score the first goal of the half on a corner kick, while midfielders Teixeira (3) and Genes (1) would score as well. Careca (11) is trying his best to keep pace with Vera, but doesn’t look like he will be slowed down.

Again two goals by then in the first eleven minutes of this game would put us in a hole. Its not that best thing to do especially when its against one of the best teams in the world. Luckily we have the best player right now in the world in Vera (21) as he would score one goal before half. Again a third player for Barcelona would give them a two goal lead just eight minutes later in the second half. Still Vera would come through as he would score two goals in the second half to tie the game. We were clearly the better team and would end up in a tie. Even with our team fully fit for this game we couldn’t manage to put pressure on the rest of the league.

A tie is all we needed for first. Still we would get two goals in the first half with Georges (2) on a header that Giovannelli would head back in the middle of a corner kick for the score. Next was Vera getting tackled a foot inside the box to give a penalty kick. Galarza (5) would be again be perfect when he was called up to take the shot since Sanogo was resting. Still it would be the game winner as we would allow a goal right before stoppage time in the second half that would stop the clean sheet. “I don’t care if they scored or if Vera didn’t score in this game. A tie still would of kept us in first, but we wanted to win since this group thinks they should win every game. Plus the money was also an incentive since they know if the club makes they will get rewarded when their contracts are up.” said coach Ryan as he team ends Champs Group stage without a loss.

Five people scored in this game with five goals coming in the first half. Teixeira looked to start things off in the tenth minute with a free kick. He didn’t clear the wall, but the bounce off one of the players would be in the path of Hernandez (9) who’s first touch shot would hit right underneath the crossbar. Two more goals would come in the next five minutes with Vera (23) and Teixeira (4) who would get his goal off of a cross instead of the free kick. Careca (12) would hold off a defender and would still be able to score as the goalie would come out early to try to stop it. Last to score would be five minutes in the second half was Sanogo (8) who got a cross and was wide open since he pushed up and Vera and Careca would tightly marked. It would be his second game back from his injury and looks like he is didn’t miss a step from the injury as well which is a good sign so it doesn’t put pressure on Vera and Careca to score always.

Still Hernandez wouldn’t just play defense, but would be our scorer for both goals. Both coming off corner kicks. The first one came in the first minute and looked to be a easy header, but would completely miss it. They would try to clear it, but Galarza would pump it back into the box right to Hernandez (11) for the header. The second corner kick that the ball would come to in stoppage time he wouldn’t miss judge his jump and easily slot one between the goalie and the player on the post. He becomes the third person this season to break double digits and the second defender ever to break double digits with the first being DeMerit five years ago. Sanogo would get a free kick, but would hit it straight at the goalie keeper for an easy save as he didn’t sell him on the fake to either side.

An easy win as we didn’t have too do much and again would come up with a goal in the first minute. There wouldn’t be a goal by a defender in this game either. Sanogo (9) would get his goal this team by a header about 2 feet in front of the goal on a cross which he easily ran past his defender for the easy tap at the far post. Four minutes later the assist on the first goal, Aragon (3), would be the scorer this time as he would get a pass at the top of the box and took some time debating on the left or right corner. He decision didn’t really matter as it would of went in, but he choose far right and the goalie just watched as it sail pass him. Genes (2) would push up on a counter and would be left alone since everyone was worried about Careca and Vera and he would just pick his spot to shoot as well as the goalie was left out in the cold once again to just watch the goal.

Still Barcelona and us are the only teams without a loss yet Barcelona is in fourth place. We are in first and still have a game in hand on everyone, except for 8th place Valladolid, and are dominating the league. We have the highest scoring offense in the league, and it should be that way since we have the top two scorers in the world on our team. Atletico Madrid is just two goals behind us (2), but we have been on a tear and already have 50 goals are not even half way through the year. Vera is leading the pack with 17 goals in just 13 games. Careca has been in a slump, but in the league still has 9 goals in 14 games, but does also have 9 assists.

With the win in the group stage we take first place and now have to play A.S. Roma in the knockout stage. At first it looked scary since its the first time we will ever play them, but then again we won it last year and have a very strong and healthy team right now.

For Player of the Year it was Vera to claim it, and the question is when will Vera slow down but sadly Cereca didn’t make it for the top three. However, for the World Team of the Year the only two players selected to the XI squad was Careca and Vera.

They would only get one shot off on us and it almost went in. Still Eduardo would stand up to the challenge to get two fingers on it to deflect it right above the cross bar. Since the defense didn’t have to do much this game our offense got a lot of joy from all the possession. Mostly went to our strikers who scored all the goals with Vera tallying up another hat trick. We would lead at half 3-nil with two goals by Vera (27) and one my Careca (14). We would match the first half goals in the second half with one from Careca that came in the first minute of stoppage time and then two more by Vera for the easy victory.

Of those we did score three times all coming in a five minute span. The first two where by Aragon (5) with the last coming by Vera (28). They would only have four chances in the second half while none of them actually really threatening us. Again we post at least three goals in our league game which now continues at five games.

We would let our strikers take a rest in this game with one midfielder and a defender. Still it’s the first leg so we aren’t too worried about the score and know that if we really need to we would start our normal eleven for the next game. Sanogo (10) wouldn’t get the start up on top which was surprising for most fans, but he did score the only goal for us. With that goal he is now the fourth person on our team in double figures for goals. We looked to go into the second leg with that one goal league, but just ten minutes left we would collect a double yellow for Torres. Despite it being a striker missing they would still be able to find a goal in those ten minutes to level the playing field. Still just means that Careca and Vera will be playing next game.

TRANSFER NEWS AND UPGRADES

View attachment 134840View attachment 134841

Rumor was that coach Ryan was looking to bring in one new player during the transfer rumor. As no now no players have been bought which doesn’t seem right since they wouldn’t crack the top XI for quite some time. Still the Board did announce that it will be upgrading both training facilities and youth facilities that will be done by 7.7.20. One player though would be sold though from our team. Don’t worry it wasn’t anyone on our senior squad although the sale is pretty strange. It would be the first time that someone wanted a squad from under 18 team and despite in the past ten years only one person from that squad has ever made it on our senior squad and/or played in a senior game. Still Diego couldn’t of been able to make it as a defender on our team and we would of probably released him when his contract is up. Still after all the years we been taking people from Real Madrid and Barcelona they finally went after one of ours. Still Read Madrid won for the 16 year old and went from 90 dollars a week to 13.5K a week. While the transfer was for 2.5 million it can actually rise up to 6.75 million which would be great news for us which is why it allowed us to build both facilities instead of one.

Aragon ( 6) would be the other person to score in the first half to give us a 3-1 lead at half. In the second half it would be Careca’s (16) two goals to finish up the scoring as our defense step up and wouldn’t allow another goal even though they only had 8 shots in the game. We would have two injures in the game as Genes will be out for a week, but Giovannelli is likely to miss the next month.

With him deciding that Sanogo would already take the shot to give us the lead. Still with the man down they would scored one before half to tie it up. Within fifteen minutes of the second half they would score again to give tie the series, but would have the lead on away goals. That would knock us out of the Spanish Cup, but coach Ryan wasn’t very upset. “In the last ten years we have only made it to the finals once. Still its that that big of a deal if we loss. I am happy that it is in the Spanish Cup and not the league.

LEAGUE STANDINGS

The lead on the league would expand this month by two points. Barcelona would drop their first game this month while we still stay undefeated. No one has cracked the 60 goal mark yet, but we are the only team who has as we are sitting at 70. Vera has hit his season slump, but we are not worried cause we know it will end soon as the meaningful games are coming up with Champs and actually the league. With half way through the season it now shows that there is a big difference between the top 7 teams and the rest of the league. One of the big rumors going around now is that Barcelona is thinking about getting a new coach and the hottest coach in Spanish leagues Adam Ryan is the top choice. Question is will he leave the team for a team that has the best facilities and money to give coach Ryan everything he wants.

With no champs league games this month we were already slated for a big loss. Still the one player we sold, or well in actually he left our team for a new team we just got some money for the signing, helped us only lose less than two million this month. We will go back to making some money and with the transfer window ending it looks as if we won’t lose any more money since we didn’t buy anyone. Still some of our players are heavily wanted and apparently the Board said if the transfer price is right for them they will sell them even without the consent of Ryan.

As for pep talk I always do what the assistant says. I have a pretty good one and mostly though he will say "play for the fans" or "show me something, except a performance" (or something like that). Same with marking and all of that it is all done by my assistant. Although at half I usually do the talks if we are losing or tied, and if we are winning it is always done by my assistant.

First was Careca (22) in the first half who hit one about 24 yards out to give us the one-nil score at half. Next was Vera (33) who would hit it about 28 yards out to win the bet. Also the goal for Vera would snap his five game scoreless sheet he had going. They would score a meaningless goal with just eight minutes left to make it look closer than it really was. That’s even when they had more possession in their final third.

By the time they actually had their first chance of scoring a goal, which came from the penalty spot, Vera (38) already had at hat trick by the 21st minute. Vera would actually score in the first minute to get the fans wild up. They would get even more crazier when Vicente would pick up a straight red card for the second red card for this team all year. Vera would get the next two by the 16th minute and at half we were up by four on Vera’s fourth goal of the game. After half Careca (23) would start us off with a wonderful strike from 30 yards away for the goal. Last was Vera capping off his fifth goal in the 60th minute to end the scoring and get us back on track of dominating the league games despite playing one of the worst teams in the league.

First half we were in a deadlock. No one would bulge, and it looked as if our chances we down to fifty percent of winning when Vera was injured early in the second half. Just eight minutes later the backup, Pedro Torres (2), who isn’t in match fitness would break the deadlock tie to give us the lead. With just eleven minutes left we would go down a man since Hernandez would pick up a straight red card and got a further suspension of two games for his terrible tackle. We would take out Sanogo to rest up for next game and bring in another defender to keep our four deep back there. The last ten minutes they would get off four shots with only one on target and no goals as well seal the close victory on the road.

The first half would end like it did last game in a 0-0 score. Vera wouldn’t be totally fit for this game from his injury last game that allowed Sanogo to start for him. Their first goal three minutes after half looked like a bad sign since we couldn’t seem to do anything in their final third. We would still work at it and Careca (24) would slide to beat the defender for the loose ball off of the rebound to tie up the game. Just a little after ten minutes Monti would score again for them. While they were still celebrating Sanogo (17) would blast a shot from a counter attack to end the game the way started. The best result we could of asked for. We will have Vera back for next game, although we do lose Genes since he picked up a double yellow today.

Looks like we will easily break the 100 goal mark since we are sitting at 82 goals in just 23 games. To show how dominate our offense is the second place team in goals is 68 with Barcelona (24 games) and Atletico Madrid (23). Also the race for the title has now dropped from four teams to three. Real Madrid still has an outside chance in fourth place, but they are 11 points behind us and we don’t seem to be slowing down at all. Funny little fact about the second to fourth place team is that they all only have one loss on the year. We still have our five point lead over second and no matter how much we win it seems that Atletico Madrid and Barcelona win as well.

Since we didn’t play the second leg yet in the Champs league is why we loss some money. Still was a good month since it was less than three million. Really aiming to keep it under that and it helps when we are making a lot for TV Revenue now. Since it is getting later in the season we might be making some money since a lot of teams are coming asking about some of our players. Still don’t have anyone really old, but most of our contracts are up in the next year though so its going to be a very expensive year if we keep everyone for signing fee’s and agent fees.

We would go forty minutes without a goal in this game before Sanogo (18) would open up the scoring as he blasted one from the edge of the box. With Hernandez sitting out for the red card it would be Giovannelli playing in his spot would climb over a defender on a corner kick. It would go past the goalie, but would be deflected off of the defender at the post. As it looked to be cleared to end the first half Georges (3) would come in and tap in the rebound to give us a two goal lead. Vera and Careca would go without a goal in this game, but it didn’t matter since we would pick up a third goal by Genes in the second half to give us a comfortable lead. We would have as many shots on target, 7, as they had shots in the game.

Had to make some changes and it didn’t look good for this game when we had three people injured in international play before this game. Worst one is Giovannelli who will be out for three weeks with a fracture arm. The other two starters was Teixeira (5 days) and Hernandez (12 days), and then backup striker Torres for this game. Luckily we don’t have to play a top team today as we again play one of the bottom teams and were able to sneak out a shut out victory. Georges (4) would score in his second straight game off of a free kick by Galarza who put it enough over the goalie on the far post to let him just flick it in. Vera (39) would get the second goal in the second half as he would round the keeper to have some fun with him before scoring his goal. Also he breaks a record held by Galarza for most assists on the team as he now holds the scoring record and assist with 28.

We were knocking on the door early as they had to make three saves in the first two minutes. The first goal however would come as an own goal in the 24th minute. We wouldn’t slow down as Vera (40) would break the forty goal mark for the fourth straight year. Vera would break a team record for assists in a year with 28 that was held by Galarza as he assisted Teixeira and Careca on goals this game. Still with at least ten games left it could even go higher. Teixeira would score twice with one coming right before half to give us a 3-0 lead. Second half they would get on the board with Babacar goal in where they attacked our weak defensive line, but it wouldn’t matter as Teixeira ( 6) and Careca (25) would score as we would so the top five teams that there is no catching us for the title and if we do lose its cause we lose focus.

We didn’t have to do much and despite on how much our attacking players took shots the first goal would come by a defender as Hernandez (14) would score a goal off of a corner. Vera’s (41) goal would give us all the cushion we needed as we played the second half more defensively than the first. He would also show off his skills since Careca would head it over to him. The ball was behind him but instead of controlling it and turning around to shoot he would do a bicycle kick to score the goal. They couldn’t score which means we now will face Chelsea in the Quarter Finals and we made a profit at least for this month.

Plus everyone is happy to get a break once in a while and everyone wants to win so the backups are hungry when they come in.” said coach Ryan. With Vera out Careca (27) would get the most reward during this game since we had both goals with one coming from the penalty spot since Sanogo also sat out of this game. With all the shutouts last month we actually now are starting to post one of the better defenses in the league as we only allowed 23 goals which is now good to be tied for third with Real Madrid. Also just five more goals away from breaking the 100 goal mark for the third straight year. Vera has more goals than appearances in the league, but Careca is trying to be the second person this year to do it since he has 23 goals in 28 games. It is close, but he might not be able to do it unless he starts getting hat tricks every game. Still we have two players, Vera and Careca, who have above an 8.00 rating.

Outstanding stuff mate I could never keep a save going for that long!

The La Liga Blog

Yeah I don't know how long this will run for. The longest save I have so far in this years game though I was in 2028-2029 with Newcastle. Will at least try to beat that, but its going to be tough especially after this year since my whole team it seems will be in their final year. Would like to sign everyone but they will all want pay raises and if I don't have a new stadium or new seats I am not going to be able to sign them.

Honestly I don't know much about the Spanish Leagues. I mean I know a lot about Real Madrid and Barcelona and know some of the other teams but no as much as I do with other leagues is which is why I started this story. Thanks for the link to the blog I might check that out, although since I am so far into this I will be looking for like Vera and Careca lol.

Still Vera (43) would give us the equalizer as he would round the defender and curl a shot around the goalie for the goal. Still the winning goal would be by a defender in Hernandez (15) who would collect the ball on a corner. The ball would go to the near post and the defender on the post would come out as well as two other defenders to stop Giovannelli for the easy header. They would disrupt Giovannelli from getting a goal, but the ball would just sit in the middle as Hernandez would sneak it and hit it near post where the defender came out for the easy goal. His team looked a little tired, but the experience carried our side through as we scored five goals. Hernandez (16) would start us out with the scoring off of a header on a free kick. Next Vera (44) would score on a pass from Careca who is showing top form. Sanogo (20) would get two goals in the game and would have the easiest time of getting the hat trick, but would miss the penalty kick but still is the third person for the team to crack the twenty goals this season. Careca (30) is one of those players with twenty goals and now becomes the second person on the team with thirty and is still some way off of Vera. Bagnoli ( 6) would score the last goal in stoppage time. We officially claimed first place in the league with still five games left and now the question is “Can we go undefeated in the next five games for a undefeated year?” So far we have been great and got most of the big teams out of the way so the chances look good. They would have two more shots, but we could of brought in our under 18 goalie since they didn’t even have a shot on target. We would have a couple of other chances, but nothing else would fall. Still going to the finals was our goal and we don’t care how we get there as long as we get there. We dominated the league. Sixteen point lead right now over second place and have a game at hand. Could end the year with twenty points if we finish the way we played the whole year. Those two ties are looking bad since we could have had the perfect season in the league, but winning it is good enough. Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are trying to be like us and break the 100 goal mark on the season. They are under 13 goals with four games left and have the firepower to do so. We on the other hand already have 10 goals over that mark and are still on cruise control. Also just five points away from 100 point season as well.

Vera looks to be the only guy to have more goals than appearances and still have three people over double digits in goals for the league with Hernandez one goal away from that mark. Vera actually broke the assist record from Careca in the Valladolid game, but didn’t want to keep posting pictures of him and Careca breaking the records so I will wait until the end of the year to post who it will be. Will Vera own all the records for the team? Or will Careca be able to crack a dent in the hero of all of Madrid?

Vera takes home the top goalscorer which wasn’t that much of a surprised for the first picture, and even Careca finally cracked that list as he finished third. Second picture is coach Ryan who was named Coach of the Year since we went undefeated in the second picture. Third picture is quite exciting, but probably not that shocking as it’s the Team of the Season and we had four people on the first XI (Hernandez, Sanogo, Teixeira, and Vera) with two people as substitutes (Careca and Georges). The next Best XI is the Dream Team in which we had four players also crack the list with Vincente, Hernandez, Galarza and Vera. Vera would break another record he has own for the highest average rating for the year now with a 7.95 this year in 56 games from 7.87 in 46 games of last year.
