Taking Over The City - A Paris FC Story

Keep going mate got full faith you can stay up, will be tight but just beat the teams around you and you'll be fine!

Seriously love your story's, just brilliant tbh.
Keep up the good work, will follow as always :)

Thanks pal, glad you enjoy it!

As for the stats, it just depends who we play really. If the team we play is weaker than us we generally boss the possession but if they are stronger than us they usually edge the possession somewhere around 55%.

The tactic I'm using basically encourages us to push up and hassle the opponents to win the ball back and then spraying it around and looking for an opening, or a ball in behind to the striker. I fiddled around with it quite a bit in the first two season but I haven't changed it since as it has been getting good results. Here it is...

Seems decent tbh :)

Got more or less the same going with Copenhagen.
Tho the Danish league, is quite weak to be frank.

But as your welsh journey im trying to make it #1 in the world, tho the problem is that the league has so many teams in europe.
So if they dont win, i have to get koffience point my self.

Could be nice to hear your jugdement on the tactic i use, is more or less the only tactic i play.
But always nice to hear, what other people think about it.

how did you manage to get a transfer budget of 2 million as i started same team and got no transfer budget and £7 wage budget ?

I'm on the LFC Marshall update on the latest patch, it may be to do with that... The transfer budget wasn't really needed until the 3rd season mind as it was just free transfers until then, although I did have a very large wage budget which helped. Which patch are you on?

Our best month of the season! Through to the Quarter Final of the Coup de France against AS Monaco and we managed to pull off 2 wins and 2 draws from our 5 Ligue 1 games!

Player of the Month - Andre Senghor

View attachment 377101

4 goals this month from the Senegalese front man has helped push us away from the relegation zone!

Player Stats:

View attachment 377105

Luiz Felipe has slotted straight in alongside Ogier and formed a solid partnership at the back. I think this lad will be our first choice center back for many years. Also nice to our other regen Tsotetsi putting in decent performances and developing...

League Table:

View attachment 377108

We're certainly not safe yet but I think this month will go a long way to helping us! 7 points clear of the relegation zone with 10 games to go so I think we may only need 7 or 8 more points to be safe.

Next update will be a March review, with 4 league games, a cup quarter final and our youth intake...

im just on the orginal patch with the january update where did you get the LFC marshall update from ?

Update 13.3 is it? And the LFC Marshall update is on here at the top under transfers and then transfer updates. I have the one which came out around just over a week ago but I believe there is a more recent one that that now.

thanks i have found the most recent update thank you and what are you going to do once you have won ligue 1 ?

Ermm, just try to turn us into a worldwide force probably. Haven't set specific targets but to be a bigger club than PSG would be nice, eg more trophies won, better facilities, richer and a bigger stadium XD But it all depends how long I stay interested in the save I suppose...

4 points from our 4 league games this month is just about acceptable. The win over Evian at the end of the month was pivotal in keeping spirits up and I don't think it was any coincidence that it was Akram's first game back after a 6 week injury!

Player of the Month - Luiz Felipe

View attachment 377152

The youngster has been amazing since he joined and averaged 7.8 over the 5 games this month, which just goes to prove if you are good enough then you are old enough!

Player Stats:

View attachment 377154

Luiz Felipe overtakes Ogier as the player with the highest average rating. Elliot Grandin did get an injury which will rule him out for the next 4/5 weeks but I can't say I'm too bothered as 2 goals, 3 assists and a 6.84 average rating in 27 starts is not good enough for a first choice winger at any standard!

League Table:

9 points from the relegation zone with 6 games to go, I'd be gutted if we got relegated from here. I can't believe Bordeaux are still in the relegation zone considering they finished 4th last season and got through their Europa League group this year...

Youth Intake:

View attachment 377151

Another decent youth intake it would seem. Ndayishimiye has the potential to be a 'good Ligue 1' player while a couple others have the potential to be 'decent Ligue 1' players. In all honesty I don't think any will make it here though but we'll see how they develop in the under 19's.

Next update will be an April and May review, where we will play our last 6 games. Can we survive relegation or will we be heading back to Ligue 2?

i started with paris fc trying to do the same with them like you have and just had the game of there lives just a friendly in first season but i dont think they did to bad

Yeah that's a good little result there. Nice to see you have signed Tarasconi, he and Ogier were amazing for me and Ogier is still first choice in Ligue 1! Also, Karl Toko develops pretty nicely and has a cap for Cameroon on mine but I didn't actually play him much in the first season.

Yeah, pretty much safe now. There's so many 5 star potential South Americans in my player search now but I have to be careful as you can only register 4 non EU nationals :( I'll also have to just wait and see what sort of a budget I get from the board as I'm around 8k a week over my wage budget after renewing a couple of contracts! We're still making money every month though so I don't see any problem with it...

Ah yeah the EU thing sucks, maybe just look at who performed and who didn't this season and replace where necessary mate? That's good about making money though you hopefully will get a decent budget and establish yourself!

3 wins, 1 draw and 2 defeats from our last 6 games was more than enough to keep us up in the end. We also managed to pick up two great upsets over 5th place Montpellier and runners up Marseille. Those 2 victories meant we went through a spell of winning 4 games out of 5 which is a great run for any relegation threatened side!

Player of the Month - Luiz Felipe

View attachment 377472

What can I say about this lad? For a second update in a row he was the best player, averaging 7.91 over the past 5 games and being an all round rock at the back. He will be amazing in a couple of seasons.

Player Stats:

View attachment 377473

The main things to point out would be Senghor's return of 14 goals (which I think is good for a team like us) and the average ratings of our center halfs. We must improve our options on the wing though. South African Tsotetsi will be undisputed first choice ball winning midfielder next year if he stays fit after a good first season.

League Table:

View attachment 377474

14th place in our first season and 14 points clear of relegation goes down as a success in my eyes! I would obviously like to improve on that next season but I'll not set targets until I see what I can do with the squad over the summer...

Next up will be an End of Season review...

Leray's determination jumped from 5 to 12 after having two separate tutors. Polomat is the most exciting player though and I even gave him a couple of 1st team games after our safety was secured.

Other News:

1) Our Reputation does not increase despite spending the season in Ligue 1, which may mean we have problems in attracting a higher quality of player.

2) We make an £8,000,000 profit over the course of the season!

3) Luiz Felipe and Souley Diomande called up to their respective nations' national squads for the Olympic games.
