Quite a lot of transfer activity here and I've got to say I'm very happy with the business I've done. After adjusting my budgets I think I had around £2,500,000 to spend and enough spare wages to do a bit of maneuvering in the market. Two of the names here were prearranged transfers and were players I've already shown you. They both have 5 star potential and will go straight into the team in order to allow them to try to meet their potential as quickly as possible. Here they are...

I also brought two players on paid loans from AS Monaco to battle it out for first choice right winger whilst also covering left wing. This allowed me to get rid of the flop that was Eliott Grandin for 500k.

My next two signings are very exciting regens who also have 5 star potential. Cisse will start as backup to Nashat Akram and be tutored by him to hopefully be our future advanced playmaker. Paco will also start as backup to Senghor but I hope he may be able to fight him for the place in the team sometime this season. Look how cheap their wages are as well! I have now got my 4 Non EU players, but I'll probably get rid of Akram next season if Cisse develops well enough which will allow me to bring in one more.

My other 3 signings we free transfers. Addy is going to slot in at left back, Ghezzal on the left wing and Alvbage will be backup to our young Brazilian keeper.

Squad:

I think our squad is definitely stronger than last year and despite our media prediction of 20th place, I think we should be able to keep ourselves away from a relegation battle this season and try to push for midtable. Lots of decent regens to watch this season as well, making a nice blend of youth and experience.
First 11:

Diomande and Tsotetsi takeover from N'Gosso and Palacios as first choice. 5 new signings in the first 11 so it may take time to adjust.
Backup 11:

Paco may be my backup left winger as an inside forward as a way of introducing him into the team without the pressures of being a lone striker. Saying that if Senghor gets injured he'll be thrown in at the deep end despite his poor composure and anticipation stats.
Ligue 1 Transfers:

PSG splash their cash again but AS Monaco don't seem to be spending as much as they did in the first couple of seasons...
Season Expectations:

Pretty much the same as last year in terms of the board targets. My personal target is too stay well clear of relegation and for the 6 regens I have in my first team squad to develop well to the point they are all starting players for us next season.
Next up will be an August review, where we will play our first 4 league games and I'll update you on any extra transfers, but I can't envisage many. How do you feel our transfer window went and who do you think will turn out to be our best signing?
