Ok thank you Conn! You are great, I'll follow you in the jassar thread too! :)

I would like to thank Conn for his brilliant save report, it's very much apperciated :).

No home or away version.
other times it works with Attacking and Very Fluid, but i feel thats just overkill.

Go with the Controll in most matches and change Very fluid if you lack creativity and on the ball skills as well as work rate :)

I'm playing as Harrogate in Skrill North League - What would you change very fluid to?

Dont create enough chances with this tactic, my players just pass it around then have ago from miles away, the wingers dont bother to cross they try to run it in and shoot from the by line

Actually changed from control to attacking and it changed the results, score 12 in 3 games including a 5-2 win of athletico madrid, i love that the anchor man cuts out the passes that go towards an oppositions lone striker loving this tactic now!

You change only that ?
No Attack for wingers or Striker ?

nopwe just changed from control to attack and im dominating games might not have the most possession but im creating more chances and getting more goals

this tactic doesnt seem to work against the big teams in the premiership even though im playing as man u getting beat and battered by spurs isnt really realistic

I have tested maybe 10 odd tactics on several websites. Finally I found one which is consistent and gettign results home and away. Forget about top flight football.
Been using Alemania Aachen, in German regional West league, 1st year expectation 11th, I came 1st and got promotion in playoff.
2nd year in German 3rd league, expectation last or 20th. Without any transfer fee I could free transfer few players. Just before the winter break I am 1st with 3pts margin.

Tips:
-Home start depending oppornment, i play normally attack, very fluid or rigid....and depending score too. If I am losing I always go overload and very fluid and often I got draw or Win.
-Away start kind of the same, I play always attack but normally start rigid.

I let assistant to do training. I started to do my own but don't know what is best. Did try the ball control and attack movement combo but concede a few goals.

My striker. False9.. He wont score. I play as Everton and got Lukaku and Jelavic. Lukaku has done 6 goals in 17 matches and Jelavic 1 goals in 18 matches. Do you know what i can do to get my strikers to score more?

same here. i think it is better to change F9 into another one maybe like poacher

True, I'm going to try changing some of the roles, I've changed the WB's to CWB's and changed the A to HB, I prefer to play like this with my WB's charging forward

Trying this tactic with Liverpool. Lost the first game 0-1 against West Ham. Beat Torquay 4-0. Then beat Swansea 4-0. Have then lost 4 in a row.
Chelsea 3-0 (Home)
Man City 2-1 (Away)
Man Utd 3-1 (Away)
Arsenal 2-0 (Away)

Lost the possession battle on all 4 games. The opponent had more possession, and more shots... Tried the Rigid approach but no dice... I'm counting on results to improve once familiarity with tactics grows... Will update.

Oh, my Full Backs suck!!! Enrique rarely gets anywhere close to a 6.0 and Johnson never above 6.5...

Edit
Aston Villa 3-2 (Home) - Another Loss...

Next up is Cardiff - Surely I can't lose to them right???

Got the sack!!! Maybe next time I'll try the same tactic again albeit from the beginning of the season...

worked well 1season, doesn't work as well anymore in the 2nd one...

For those who are having trouble, obviously there's tweaking you have to do according to the players you have. After the new patch came, all my previous tactics went down the toilet, so I'm trying and adjusting new formations, grabbing ideas from you guys.
I always try to posesssion tactics, tried this one, but changed to a more fluid system, which allows my more creative players to pass with more freedom, roam from position and move to channels. Also, according to your FW's, you can switch between F9 and TQ according to who's playing. For example, I have Roberto Pereyra and Felipe Gutierrez. Both are fast, creative, and have scoring capabilities. Instead of having one AP and one DLP, I have them both as AP's, one with attacking duties and the other supporting. They always keep the pitch tilted in our favour with my DM (Lucas Romero thrives as a DM instead of HB or A), keeping my defense safe.
I also have Fischer and Douglas Costa in my Everton save. Fischer as a TQ is a monster, and Costa is a beast as F9 getting double digit assists by the first half of the season.
If you have strong AML/AMR, I have IF (attacking duty) and a W (support role) and I exchange roles according to games and strategies.
When I play against a narrow 4-4-2, I use 2 wingers to spread their midfield, but once I became a dominant team, I stuck with 2 IF's, one with support duty and other with attacking duties, the same as with my WB's (which I also used as CWB for a while).
You gotta go with what you got, your player's developments, and what suits the team's strengths.
