***THE BETTER HALFS TACTIC UPLOAD & DISCUSSION

Having best season to date, using original tactic with slight tweak to mentality of AML and a few PPM-orientated sliders of attacking players and it's probably down to team-talks.

Before: (Assr) For the Fans
H/T Lose: (Assr) No Pressure
H/T Draw: (Assr) For the fans
H/T Win by 2+ goals: (Assr) Pleased
F/T Draw/Loss: (Assr) Disappointed
F/T Win: (Assr) Well Done

I am finding that when managing strong players mentally, being assertive that you want them to play well does seem to influence the quality of their decisions etc. Being more cautious and supportive seems to make them more careless and have less motivation to play well and please you. Media is all handled by A/M (Mauro Tassotti) and players only spoken to when form is exceptional.

Sounds great- If you still get results, then there is no reason for you to switch to the new version but if starting a new save with the likes of Wigan, Southampton etc, I would use the new version

thanks mate! looks interesting.. i'll try this and upload results asap

My current Spurs save. So far, we have playing many games at home

I would wait until the new season to implement any tactic but in the end, its your choice

Would the following 11 work for this tactic?
GK - De Gea
RB - Jones
CB Stopper - Vidic
CB Cover - Shawcross
LWB - Santon
DM - Sandro/Fellaini(which would you pick?)
CM - Cabaye
RM - Valencia
STCL - van Persie
STC - Rooney
STCR - Chicarito

That would be a really good starting 11. As for the player in DM, Sandro is great. Fellaini has the comes deep to get the ball PPM ( unlearn it or retrain him into a FC ( the central FC position) and M´Vila is a player that if getting his Decision stat up will be good.

Cabaye: Perhaps a little too low Marking stat to play for a side like United

Nice to see a Plug & Play tactic TBH, it looks good.

What other results have you had from this apart from your brief start as Spurs?

Thanks!

I have tested it with Southampton, City, Villa. I have not played more than 15 matches with any team but as the method is the same as in the other SPLIT formation, I have been able to spot rather easily that it works.

Naturally, one should only use an asymmetric formation if it actually suit the squad at hand. After all, the reason for using such a formation is to be able to use your players where they do the most damage whilst still being able to keep a good defensive shape. Here, this means that its best for clubs that have many defensively good midfielders and having at least 5 attackers to rorate amongst during the season.

Thanks for the reply. :)

Who else would you suggest for the CM role, then?

Well, if playing a longterm save, you will easily spot a really good newgen, the next pirlo etc. As for now, I would not go further into the transfer market. My point was just that if wanting to dominate the world, you need all the mids to be able to defend really well.

Advantages/ differences between this and the split 451?

None as such as its all about this

I've been dominating home games statistic wise but not been getting the results the performance merits and for away games well..

I've followed all instructions in the OP

An example of dominating a match statistically and not getting the result merited, this game was 0-0 until the 70th minute when Liverpool fired 3 goals in excessive time.
