***THE BETTER HALFS TACTIC UPLOAD & DISCUSSION

it would probably take at least 2 seasons to get him natural at DMC, so not an option (one of the annoyances of FMC, alongside no tutoring or specific training). I guess AML it is. do you think 13 is too low for finishing to have him as ST in these tactics? im sure he will score goals but may be better at AML and leave the young gun to play up front and finish.

He is a beast and whilst 13 is a bit on the low side, he will score plant of goals as the FC. Is it possible for you to train him to get to 14 or 15 on the cost of other stats( I dont play FMC so I dont know about the trainintg module there)

you cant specifically train finishing or attacking stats for one player, just the whole team, so its a bit of a guessing game in FMC. what do you think of his stats as an AML in the 451 and 4-2-3-1 (as in inside forward). I still reckon he will cause havoc once natural in that position.

Yes, he will be great as a AML

Which of your tactic would advise me to play with Real Madrid? To get de best of CR7 and company...

cheers

That depends on what kind of football you are after.

The Different 4231´s
Here you use all 3 versions so its not a plug & play

SPLIT 451
This one you can actually use a a base and combine it with the set above. The user beardeye is using these tactuic like that and he can perhaps tell you about it some more
Naturally, you can use it as a plug & play to.

SPLIT 433/343
Here CR will be used as a FC

Deep 424, High Risk & High Reward
Here, its a more more gung-ho football

In none of the tactics, CR will be as dominante as he is in real life though, not if used on the wing.

Since I spoke to you on here a little the other day, I haven't stopped experimenting (on another save than my main one I was talking about) with your Gyroscope tactics - trying to use both of them to understand the game in a new way. I've been wondering, would it be possible to change the strikers role? Say, to like a poacher or something? I didn't know if the strikers role is key to the formation or it was just a preference of yours. Again, thanks for any help you post!

Well, I prefer this players not only to try to beat his man( run with ball) and go straight at goal( not trying to play t-balls). You can try it, but if you see the FC wasting too many attacks, then I woudl switch back or try the Advanced FC role instead.

Oh, just remember to look at the settings of any role you want to change. It might be that I have tweaked the individua settings and that changing the orle wont effect anything.( not in this case though)

hello. I tested your tactic split 451 version 13.3.3 on several teams but could not get good results. the previous version of the same tactics could win it all. which players you think that fundamental and their positions?

I would say that you are only as strong as your weakest link but in attack, its the wide players as we focus the play down the flanks. When it comes to defending, its really important that the players dont have conflicting ppms or seriosuly lack in any of the important stats.

i cant say that I have had poor results with any team in 13.3.3 with the last update though. Mind you, the results have not been as good as in previous patches but that is down to that here, we are not exploiting any match engine weakneses.

The Flat 433

This tactic is just a beta and has only been tested with top teams in the higher leages and middle teams in leages like League Two etc.
The Players
looking at the player roles, some of the sliders have been tweaked slightly but the needed stats are still the exact ones highlighted for the different roles

I've just come up against a few teams in the EPL playing a flat 3-5-2 and have struggled against all of them, losing games i should be winning. Particularly when the opposition plays a low tempo, pass to feet, defensive strategy I cant get the ball and get opened up. Have you noticed this at all when using the 451/4231?

If not, its possibly a motivational issue with my team when favourites to win (but again FMC doesnt give much clue here!!). can upload pkm highlights if it helps.

Why not try specific man marking and OIs

Depending on what 352, Their......
WBR/L our wingers. close down always ( not letting them keep possession playing cautious)
MR/L our Fullbacks. Show outside( show MR onto Right foot so we are behind the player and the goal)

because there are no OI's in FMC!!!

also its a flat 3 at the back, flat 5 in midfield and 2 strikers.

Which is the best for Swansea ?

What kind of football do you want to play and what results* do you expect ?
( and with what update, the normal, the January or a 13/14 season update?)

* Not just League position, but also the kind of results, like stable wins and draws not conceding so much at all, a more risky approach winning many but also some heavy defeats etc

I have 13/14 update and I don't want concede many goals because with this match engine, defenders make silly mistakes often. In addition, Swansea is mix of middleteam and underdog so I want stable game generally.

Second question, when I use more risky approach, which is the best suitable for my team when I am favourite against my opponent ?

Then I would probably recommend 361, The Gyroscope

Here, we keep a much larger posession than in your average Counter strategy ( that this tactic uses). Also notice that I have included a more cautious version at the bottom of that post

2nd question: "when I am favourite against my opponent": remember here that whilst you are the favourite, your opponent in the prem might still be good at doing what they are doing so there are no easy matches for Swansea this season.
The Deep 424, High Risk & High Reward is what is says on the tine. Mind you, I would still stick to the Gyroscope

I've played 6 matchdays with other tactics and I'm at the 8th position. In the 9th matchday, I played against Villa at home with The Gyroscope and I won 5-1, it's amazing. I'm wondering that performance at away games. I'll inform you soon. Thx mate !

Apart from the tactics uploaded by users that dont get any attention all, the Gyroscope is probably the most underrated tactic on the web :D I am playing with it as we speak(!?), and its really something.

Lets say you are playing with a top team, like United or City, then I would use players like Valencia or Zabaleta on the wings when playing away or in really though home matches. If using a squad that lacks this kind of squad depth, then this might be difficult but I think you get my point. ( if using this tactic longterm, then sign/retrain some more players to be DMC/MR or DMC/ML, some really strong players, then you can rotate them in DMC and at the wings)

If being 3-0 up and the team stops to play, then revert to the "Cautiu version". this way, it does not matter that much if some players dont closed down, put in the effort
