***THE BETTER HALFS TACTIC UPLOAD & DISCUSSION

After beating City 9-0 I got United in the semi at Wembley. A great effort from the lads!

WOW those results are really something.:wub:

About beating City 9-0 (!!!!) though, there has to be something seriously wrong with the game when it comes to cupmatches

Been using the tactic with Liverpool. Right now I'm 4th in the league, but just 1 point off the top. I haven't been scoring as much as I would like, but part of it is Suarez was out injured a bit. I also don't think he's the best fit for the tactic, going to look at replacing him after the season if I get funds. Purchased a few players on 48 month buys to fit the tactic a bit better. Having a lot of success lately, but earlier in the year I had two bad games against Arsenal and Man City. Since the Man City match I haven't conceded a goal.

I enjoyed some success with your FM11 tactics so i am going to give thi a go with my Newcastle save.

i have had some crazy results with this tactic, I'm playing as the Danish team Brøndby.
first i had to buy some new players due to the defenders and strikes not being good enough;

to qualify for the uefa cup group stage i had to go through PSV i was expected to loose heavily, but this happened;

As you can see I once more beat the favorite.
as far as the league goes, it has had its ups and downs;

overall the tactic is great, I have struggled a bit when playing away from home thou. But I think this is due to me not tweaking it enough towards my opponents.
I will play the remainder of the season and report back, but for now thank you for the tactic.

Looks like a good start, beating those teams in the EL is a real effort. Surprised to see FCK struggling :D

Looks like a fairly good start. I think that once the team gets gelled( many, many new players ), you will be able to challenge .
for the title, being able to beat the top teams as well.

As for suarez, I would not sell him but instead play him in the AML. For FC, i would use either Carrol or any other similair player that likes to play with the back towards goal, coming deep etc

Hey TBH, apologies for not testing this tactic like I said I would but I have only recently been able to get some time to play FM and since I am starting my first save as Man Utd who are more suited to a tactic with two strikers, I won't try this tactic for now but hope to do so in the future :)

New tactic up :D

CAUTIOUS IN CAUSTON

A FLAT 442

!!!! Loaded up the tactic and getting ready for pre-season. Will post an update later :)

I was strugling with getting making my tactics fit my team Benfica , until i download this one and than things have improved a lot , just hope it came i time to save my season

So Carroll on the left and Suarez on the right in the flat 442? Starting a game now with the 442 :)

Thought I would update with my Sunderland season. I have been using the 442 Caution tatic.

My findings are that the tatic work's very well, Im 7th in my first 6 months so I would definatly say it was over acheiving. However we are the league 2nd highest goalscorer's but have conceded a buckload also. So although im very happy, im not so sure its working as intended :D.

I have played all the pre-season friendy games, as well as a few competitive matches using the flat 4-4-2 and have won all of them, beating Man City 5-0 in the Community Shield, 4-3 at Eastlands and beating Spurs 3-0 at Home. I must admit though, tactics that employ defensive/narrow philosophies do not suit Man Utd however I do understand that in order for it to be compatible with the bigger and smaller teams equally, the tactic needs to be this way. It definitely produces results and is very effective so great work TBH :)

Are either of your tactics good for League 2/League 1 teams or are they more focused for Championship, Premier, ETC?

can I have your Oblivion tactic switched the other way around?

I for one have tested both tactics in the league one and two mostly. Have à look at the Bristol rovers results in the OP :)
