Hello :) I'm looking for a tacitc for my Chelsea team(1st season) that would work with this new patch. What would u recommend me ?

That would depend, are you looking for à plug & play or à " team tactic" ?

Amongst the plug & play, the 352 would be à fun approach to use. Naturally, the Narrow Box, the 4123 and the " Top team 4231 Akash tweak should be great. Amongst the "team tactics
", you could use any Of them.
 
wow! great OP tbh...ive just loaded fm12, and will be sure to try one or two of your tactics.
used one of your defensive tactics a lot on fm11, and worked a treat with my smaller sides...played some lovely football at times too.

I just implemented the Arsenal Wide 4-2-3-1 into my latest save, and it's been a ******* DISASTER. I don't understand, I followed all the instructions to set up the tactic, I'm using a top team, and yet we've already blown a 4 goal lead to Stoke, been knocked out of the champions league qualifying by Udinese, drawn 0-0 to Swansea at HOME... wtf is going on! My team can't defend for ****!

Its because these tactics does not exploit the engine, so when the players are on à slump Of form, poor morale/confidence, overconfident etc, you Will see results like that.

I don't know why my team would have been on such poor morale for the first 4 games of the season! I restarted my save and so far I've won the first game, although not easily. We'll see what happens.

I just meant that these tactic wont win you games by just plugging them in. You have to get the man management correct along with using the correct shouts as à response to what you see on the pitch. Also remember that the opposition can get things right :)

Good point(s). I think I'm basically done using any sort of downloaded or online tactic. I need to start gaining confidence using my own, it's just really frustrating in the early stages!

Yeah, using downloaded tactics is not really trhat fun in the long run. However, It can be really frustrating using the TC and sticking to its settings as some of them are really flawed ( read incorrectly setup + engine flawes). Here, my best tip would be to use a DMC and take it from there. This way, the Dcs wont act as weird. ( ie, one of the closing down flawes in not triggered)



Also, I am back from my Holiday and am free to answer any questions more indepth.

I am currently going to make an assymetric formation for "Underdog/Middleams/Top Teams" using a HIgh Press version, a Low Press version and a "Top team high press version". i.e the same framework as the other plug & play tactics.

Here, I need suggestions on formations. It can be anything as lonmg as its balanced ( i.e, not a 0-5-5 ;D )

So just fire away and make your suggestion by eitther writing the postions ( like DC-DC-DC-DR...DMCleft..ML..MCright...AMR..AMCleft...FCCenter) or post a picture of the formation

Looks good. Naturally, all formations has their pros and cons and being Swansea, you will face opponents playing rather attacking against you so dont be afraid to use the width of the pitch whilst channeliong the play through the middle. This way, you will still foucs the play through the point where you are compact whilst the wingers use the free space out wide that the opponenst attakcing fullbacks leave behind.

As for the players and roles, I always try top use pure hardworkibg and defensive MCs first and then when climbing the ladder and getting into the top 3, add some creativity in there to.

for my beloved sporting gijon...first season (so, primera liga), 12.2 patch, default database, no players signed yet (just loaded the game)
any recommendations to spoonfeed me with please?

had plenty of views, but no replies/suggestions...could you recommend one or two of yours, or anything else pls?

Actually, any of the underdog/MIddleteam tactics would do, as long as their suit the squad. I dont know much about the team but the deep 442 is reallty, really good, just like the deep 42121.

If you wold like to test a "460", then here is one. The SOC2v3 = HIgh press and the SOC3= Low press. I am actuallt top of the league with Sociedad using these tactics. I have been using HIgh Press ( SOC2) at home and being a good favouriteI and Lower press ( SOC3) away and against teams where I am an underdog. The OUter AMCs are the "strikers" and the central AMC the more complete one

brilliant, thanks...will def give em a try out...am i a "guinea pig" for these then? lol
any need to know stuff, ie, pitch size, oi's, attributes, etc?
