Bayern really disappointing, Modric,Alonso were immense think Real are faves now I can see them scoring at Alianz.

Robben and Ribery were non-existent, Bayern deserve to go out after that performance

Jamie Redknapp talking bollocks again saying Bayern will have to much possession at home for Real. Did he not just watch any of that game.

awful match anticlimax expect so much more from both teams!

Real didnt play for much of the first half, Ronaldo looked like hes carrying injury and far from ball and position, Robben played well but Bayern seemed to want to walk the ball into the net or get a penalty or freekick rather than ever shoot at times Casilias didnt have to do much.

Ronaldo just back from bad hamstring injury and still could of had 6 goals tbh. This is Bayern under Pep slow tika taka. Can get away with it in Bundesliga because they are miles ahead, but against City,Utd,Arsenal and Madrid they have been pretty pants.

"Bayern's play is like watching someone very slowly build a house of cards...and then a Madrid counter is someone knocking the cards down, punching the creator in the face, and then scoring a goal on him."

Both semi finals so far have been awful.

Yup. Pep has turned Bayern to Barca. Perhaps better version of Barca, even. But it seems that during his year-long vacation he didn't follow on new developments very much. Like the fact that the very same Bayern he is now managing, have shown the world how to properly bend over possession-based teams.

Its almost a pain to watch Bayern now. The last year's grit, steel and determination is gone, they're totally predictable now, just doing tippy-tappy football all day long. If it works, great, if it doesn't , there's no plan B.

everybody seems mostly focused on Bayerns failings tonight. i feel Real Madrid were just as poor. so little of the ball they had. yes they scored nice counter attack goal. but is this there only plan A? can real not attack without having to rely on counter attack?! seemed like it tonight! they seemed to willfully give the ball back to Bayern a dozen times almost voluntarily ? just because then they know what to do? ie counterattack lol if real had retained more possession themselves. less sloppy passing and carelessness they should have dominated and put the game and legs in no doubt with 2 maybe 3 goals. instead they have to go try do that away now.

if both teams play as poor as tonight in next leg it will probably go down to a draw, away goals or even extra time . penalties.

Sometimes you have to just accept that if you try and play someone at their own game you will be destroyed. Real played to Bayern's weakness tonight which showed their and Carlo's tactical flexibility and exposed Peps continued inflexibility.
