Frank Lampard signs for Manchester City

lampardshirt595.jpg

In the last couple of hours of the January transfer window, Man City shocked the world by signing Frank Lampard from Chelsea for a fee of £22 Million. A very quiet transfer period was suddenly set ablaze by this inthe talent that Lampard posseses. All the talk was about whether Tevez would join Chelsea but in the end it was Lampard who would leave Chelsea for City. Lampard was said to be delighted at the move and said it was just the move he needed to keep things fresh for him.

That young lad Munain is defo one for the future - i bought him for my Everton team in the 2nd season, loaned him out to Notts Forest (my feeder club) and he was the leagues top scorer right up until Feb, then he broke his ankle, i was gutted by that as he was showing great potential

Yeh he has good potential and he only cost me something like 1.5 million. I loaned him out as well but he didn't do quite as well as he did for your loaned team!

great story mate and great signings altho i think you need some young defenders other than that your team is perfect:D

Cheers. Yeh I think I will concentrate on getting some younger players from now on, apparently my team is one of the oldest in the league! Update coming up!

Doing amazing still. Your winning almost every game now and a deserved top of the league.;)

Most over-achieving club - Wolves - Many were predicting relegation for them but they managed a top half finish, a great effort.

A good pre-season for Man City with some tough matches which really tested their squad. New signing Pato got his career with City off to a blistering start with three goals in his first two games. [/FONT][/B]

Doing all the colours for each team takes too much time now, sorry I am just doing the colour based on the result of the match! (ie green = win, red = loss, black = draw)

Just a few stats from my game so far...

Top scorer under the

Benzema got 6 in the first half!! 4 in the the first 15 minutes, and a hat-trick inside 7 minutes!! :O

And here are some other stats (Yes i am manager of England now, only done a few matches though!):

i'm quite enjoying this, though people say it's 'too easy' i think it's pretty interesting seeing whether you can actually build city into a world class team.
keep it up :)
