4 losses already for City was disappointing for a lot of the fans, who were used to City never losing. But brilliant wins against Man United and Liverpool at home ensured that they would be top of the league heading into February.

Champions Leauge Results

City were handed a tricky group, with arguably their 'bogey team' Inter Milan in it (Inter had knocked City out in the previous two years in the first knockout stage). Lyon made the group tough as well, with Maccabi Haifa making up the group. City were of course still expected to finish top of it.

Lyon vs. Man City: 1-2 - Dzeko, Tevez
Man City vs. Inter Milan: 1-2 - Aguero
Maccabi Haifa vs. Man City: 0-6 - Robinho, Zhirkov, Dzeko, Lampard, Aguero, Toure
Man City vs. Maccabi Haifa: 3-0 - Tevez x2, Pato
Man City vs. Lyon: 2-0 - Gourcuff, Tevez

Inter Milan vs. Man City: 2-1 - Pato

City topped the group, but Inter Milan continued to cause problems for them, beating them twice. Crucial results against Lyon meant City progressed.

FA Cup Results

3rd Round: Blackpool vs Man City: 0-5 - Aguero x4, Muniain
4th Round: Man City vs. Peterborough: 4-0 - OG, Zhirkov x2, Muniain

For once the draw was nice to City and they breezed past the two Championship sides with ease.

League Cup Results

3rd Round: West Ham vs. Man City: 1-3 - Aguilera, Pato, Dzeko
4th Round: Man City vs. Man United: 1-2 (AET) - Dzeko

A bitter loss to take against their Rivals, with a goal in the last minute of extra time.

Community Shield Result

Man City vs. West Brom: 4-0 - Robinho x3, Tevez

Also does anyone know how to change the title of a thread? I want to make my one slightly more eye-catching because at the moment its a little dull!

Yeh, go to my threads at the top (next to your name) then find the thread and double click slightly to the right of the name and you should be able to edit.

Do you mean go into the thread and do that? Because I still can't seem to change the name, sorry i'm a bit useless...

No, go into, 'view your threads' at the top and you should see your thread at the top. Dont go into it, just double click next to it and u should be able to edit.

I tried that, but it doesn't let me edit it, it just highlights the whole sentence but I can't change it or anything. Is there another way?

Contact a mod/super mod etc and ask them nicely to re-name your thread.

What do you want it changing to and I can do it.

Could you change it to this please:

City have the title in their hands - all they need is a win in one of their last 3 games and they have retained their title.

Champions League Results

1st Knockout Round Away Leg - Panathinaikos vs. Man City: 0-1 - Tevez

The fans will undoubtedly be ecstatic after somehow clawing their way into the final for the first time in their history. A stunning goal in the final minute sent them through against Bayern Munich when the fans thought all was lost. A great win at home against their fierce rivals Man United put them into the final against Real Madrid.

A relatively easy run in to the semi final for City but the fans will no doubt be delighted with their win against Chelsea in the semi final. City will be very confident of winning, with the final against Championship side Burnley.

Cheers mate, I'll have the end of season update up tomorrow because I'm falling asleep here!

2012/13 - END OF SEASON UPDATE

Can Manchester City do the treble?

City's last 5 games of the season are all massive - a perfect set of results will hand them an amazing treble of trophies. Nearly everyone is in agreement that they have the League title in the bag, needing just one win from their remaining three but a very tricky match against Real Madrid in the Champions League final will be the defining moment of the season. For the City fans, winning in Europe is what they desperately want.

Last 3 Premier League Matches

A highly satisfactory way to win the league by beating Chelsea - the team who pipped them to winning it a couple of seasons back. Not only that, but by beating Chelsea, City effectively ended Chelsea's chances of attaining a top 4 finish!

Man City vs. Aston Villa: 0-0
Arsenal vs. Man City: 1-1 - Pato[/Ff
