Hmmmm. Firmino, Lallana, Matip and Sturridge haven't trained at all this week thus far. If none of them are out there today, that'll see a few changes Sunday.

Would imagine Origi will defo start with Mané one side of him. Wijnaldum pushed on the other side? Or maybe Ejaria? Milner back in midfield (or even pushed up the left wing if you left Wijnaldum in there) with Clyne LB and A-A his league debut at RB? (Or just drop Moreno in but I'd roll with Trent personally if Milners elsewhere.). Grujić given his head the midfield alongside Can? Defo stat Lucas over Klavan if Matip misses personally. Not that Klavan's done anything wrong. Just Lucas has been so good at centre back. ****, wouldn't even be worried if Woodburn pulled the start.

First time this season the league you're actually left thinking about the starting XI which is novel haha.

Testing the squad like but great to have options all over.

LMAO! The oh so loveable Blues L'pool obsession continues unabated ..... After Unsworth banned the U-23's from wearing red boots the other week, they've now forced Koeman to change his Chrimbo deccies!

Why the **** is their manager on twitter?

I don't get how their gaffer is on twitter. Apparently he constantly tweets as well. What the **** is going on? You couldn't write it.

The reactions on there to his initial tree with the red tinsel are priceless. XD.

Welcome to the World of the Ev Ronald. If you didn't know already, it's revolves around the red ***** over the park. XD.

Kenny Dalglish had twitter when he came back to manage us.

I'm sure a lot of celebs have twitter. But managers constantly tweeting about things just baffled me a bit. Made even funnier that it's Koeman like, manager of the Merseyside Tycoon Club.

Excellent news. Sheyi Ojo cleared to start playing again.

Get a good slew of U-18/ U-23 games under your belt and work your behind off in training lad ready for the second half push.

Really missed not having the option of him.

This ***** better than even the Agent Johnson times.

The Dutch fella's a belter.

'Koeman, Is a Red. Koeman, Koeman Is a Red!'

What are the confirmed dates? Or don't we know yet?

Both legs are surprisingly the Wednesday. (Jan. 11/ 25.). The second leg at home kicks at 8 PM.

Presumably Utd- Hull is on the Tuesdays.

Heck knows what happened to splitting one leg on the Tuesday and one on the Wednesday.

Liverpool U23s boss Michael Beale stepping down - will Steven Gerrard fill any vacancy at Kirkby? - Liverpool Echo

Losing an excellent coach and developer of young talent there. Done terrific over the last 4 years and prior at Chelsea.

All the best Bealey. Thanks for the hard work at Kirkby. Can't blame the fella' for both stepping up in his career and experiencing a new Country/ culture in so doing.

On the plus side that leaves a coaching opening for Gerrard to come home now after a rejig with internal promotions. THAT would make me ECSTATIC! Make it so L'pool!

Beale is taking one **** of a risk leaving his job to be an assistant in Brazil. Given that the average a manager lasts there is 15 games before they are sacked, one club has even managed to get through 10 managers in two years. Throw in that Ceni is yet to manage a club so could make some mistakes and he could be out a job very soon. I think only one manager who started at a club in 2016 is still their so he is taking some risk but, credit to him for going somewhere else and taking a chance

10 managers in 2 seasons? Man that's mad. Crazy, crazy scenario. But the home of football for me Brazil. Guess you just have to accept the madness that goes along with everything over there.

Think I'd like a City win this dinner time. A draw would be sound and the best in respect of both clubs dropping 2 points. But this Chelsea run has gone on a little too long now and needs to end! Can't see anything other than Arsenal battering West Ham later who are in a terrible mess.

With L'pool having what should be a straight forward afternoon at Bournemouth tomorrow it'll just be nice to see one or both of 2 of the top 3 drop points today.
