Man, whos cutting ******* onions in here Scouse that got me mad emotionally as you're right regardless of what's happening in life football is the one constant that brings you and your family and friends together always every weekend. Doesnt matter if the team is **** or down there is always something to bring you together. Beautifully said and happy birthday on top of that hope you have a great 100th bday :ROFLMAO:

Ta la. Appreciated. 🍻

I wouldn’t normally ever wish for someones career to end, but when it comes to not only someone that has openly insulted myself and everyone else in this City, aside from his flagrant abuse and xenophobia toward the football club that bears the City’s name, and one of the greatest men to ever be in it’s employ; Cootes base stupidity at happily being openly filmed, effectively committing self-inflicted, career suicide, takes any empathy I may have found for him out of the window and I sincerely hope the low life piece of **** never darkens the game again.

FIFA and UEFA banning and investigating him now. He’s lucky the Police aren’t involved for a hate crime. Ethnic racist abuse what he said about Jurgen

Reap what you sow.

We can do something funny next week if we deal with Southampton tomorrow 👀

Looks like another good year for Liverpool fans :)
Enjoy (y)

Getting picked up at 6:30 AM, didn’t seem too enticing a prospect when the text came through Saturday dinner. But then Tottenham happened Sat’day teatime, and suddenly all trepidation disappeared and sleep didn’t come easy in anticipation for the Mighty Reds next step on the road to #20.

That was a weird yet utterly wonderful day all-round. Weird that the journey both ways was made in horrendous, monsoon like, biblical rain. (I’m sure we drove through a lake at one point. Seriously.). Yet wonderful we didn’t get wet as Mother Nature spared us before and after the game. Weird that for large parts it was mind numbingly poor. The passing and control up until going behind was the worst we’ve seen from Slots side. Wonderful that they dug in, refused to let Southampton take our points, and for the mind boggling crazy 16th time out of 18 games this season, they found a way to win. To leave us 8 clear of the only team thats ever been our business. With real wiggle room going into next week’s potential title decider against them. (Yes. It’s THAT humongous a game even this early in the season. And FAR more for them than our relaxed selves.). Weird that the away end, which is now the opposite end corner of St Mary’s now that they’ve moved us for some mad reason, was strangely subdued up to going 2-1 behind with everything at stake. Wonderful that it came to full throttle life after Mo’s equaliser, to be wild and bouncing the last 25 mins as, like Mo, we knew what WE had to do to see them home. Weird that Russel Martin is too arrogant to cut his cloth accordingly and play to his players (lack of) strengths. Madly having them consistently play out from the back when they are incapable of that under pressure. Wonderful that he did to ensure we capitalised on it consistently for another outstanding victory.

Even given the weird nature of the game, I honestly don’t know how anyone could be critical and unhappy? 🤷🏼‍♂️ Wins and getting as far ahead as possible of City before they get key players back and figure it out again are ALL that matter right now. Wins like yesterday, when you show this sides famous, never give up mentality Jurgen instilled in them, to come from behind and find a way when you aren’t totally on it, are what wins you league championships. W 10 D 1 L 1. A magnificent 3 games clear. That’s your best in class 2024-25 Liverpool FC vintage. Let that sink in. All under a new managerial reign without the shinny new toys the blerts were screaming for all summer. Let that sink in and tell me ALL that mattered yesterday wasn’t Liverpool securing another three points as the Slot Express gathers more and more momentum? With a record and season SO good, criticism at a win in any way, shape or form is beyond asinine.

Not too many individual standouts for once. It was very much ‘one of them’ games after an International break that has disrupted all rhythm. I thought Ryan was the best outfield player again. Consistently winning it and driving us forward. Kelleher made a superb save. He’s a superb goalie. But we lack Alisson’s presence and passing ability at times which is why theres no debate on him coming straight back in when he’s ready. And then there’s Mo. Bare chested, wild, ferrel Mo. A man who knows just how special winning a title in this City is and just how eternally lorded you become. A man who steps up to the plate time and again when the chips are down and pulls us through. Absolutely boss to see Arne let his mask slip finally at the end and celebrate like his predecessor with in front of us. He’s fast understanding just how different Liverpool is and just how special a league title win is here.

Mammoth week to come with City and then two bleep aways at the Saudi’s and Everton. But we go into them relaxed. Knowing we are by far and away the best side not only in England. But Europe wide. Talking of …..

Bring on General Franco’s Dirty Army Wednesday. We are ready for you.

Not a good look with Salah publicly begging for a contract. I can see why the club is hesitant as he probably wants a longer deal and I understand the club POV of not offering more than 2 years. However, who else is out there that can replace that output?

Feyenoord fans chanting Arne Slot and singing YNWA ….. Quality.

The City ‘booos’ in response is hilarious.

Mad how City have turned into Utd.
Madness watching them do the same **** over and over again. The space they are leaving behind reminds me of when we lost everyone and before Klopp turned pragmatic and dropped the line for our sanity. Poor Rico Lewis, who is a good football player but not a fullback, is being killed out there. I wont jinx it but if we don't roll them over on Sunday imma be very annoyed.

The single most important thing this weekend.

The IneosGlazer’s taking the absolute P out of Utd again this week is one step too far.

As always, rivalry doesn’t come into this. Football has NO colours when it comes to protecting the life blood of the game.

The ‘Stop Exploiting Loyalty’ campaign has been gaining great traction Country wide. And a massive show of solidarity between all 4 North West giants on Sky’s Super Sunday can only aid to the campaign.

Walk outs at games are just around the corner.

Potential title deciding day in the PL. Seriously.

I'd have snapped your hand off pre-season if you'd said we'd be going into City at home, 8 points behind them with a chance to cut it to a very manageable two games. To be the reverse is dream land. Very interesting to see how both managers go around this today. I can see it being an uber tactical battle of the very highest level. A draw would suit both sound.

I personally think we'll win like, given Anfield will be feral and wild. But it's the two games after that more concern me. Real tough away week this with Newcastle and then the shites Cup Final Sat'day dinner.

Need to continue to try get as many points ahead of City as we can before they get everyone back and the chino wearing bleep figures it out.

A win today puts one hand firmly on the trophy.

For as long as we have Virgil and Salah at the club we will always be in the hunt for trophies. Virgil is comfortably playing at an imperious level and far ahead of any CB I've ever seen.

So apt.
