BOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! 🤬

Boringly S draw that. Why couldn’t it have been at Accrington for a new ground?

The only good thing is it will be a 3 PM Sat’day surely? Defo can’t be Sunday or Monday anyways.

Ooof and now we can stop people claiming Kelleher is as good as Ali. **** me id wager Ali stops all the goals but the last one I still don't understand what he was doing. Games like this shows the hard work in getting the points beforehand as the buffer is defo needed. It still feels like three points dropped what with Salah on a rescue job again and the only forward you can count on to bag consistently.

Edit: I watched the extended highlights and that right hand side was shambolic, Quansah is not a right full back and Gomez had a classic game where he forgets to be a footballer once in a while. My head is still on mars with what Kelleher done, **** me id rather he just have let a shot in from poor shot-stopping or something, I just cant wrap my head around why he didn't just catch it?!!!

It’s always a completely different experience not being at a game. But I really enjoyed that game of togger last night. Frustrating end naturally. But a really good game of football.

Current unbeaten away PL run:

I don’t do Newcastle now as I flat out refuse to give the despicable Saudi regime my money. Which is a shame as it’s a boss away in a great City with similar values and outlooks on life to our own. So I missed my first league game of the season last night. But I know first hand, from countless treks up there, just what an intimidating place it can be when it’s rocking. And just how hard it is to come away with three points. And, lest we forget, this is the best Newcastle outfit in a generation. With 7 or 8 players that would walk into most sides competing for top 4 and trophies. So to go up there and not get beat is a great result regardless. To do that after the mammoth efforts we put in against Madrid and City, midweek in horrid condition’s, when the whole team are off it and poor (Make NO mistake we didn’t deserve a point), makes it another outstanding point in context toward the end goal of #20.

And, if we beat the Ev Sat’day dinner, 4 points from these super tough two away games isn’t just an outstanding return. It’s a title winning return.

Yeah, it feels bad and frustrating after Kelleher’s late mistake to compound a real poor outing from him. But in context of still being 3 games clear at the top of the league, with a ridiculous 18 wins out of 21 games under Arne. And on a current unbeaten run of 17 games all comps (15 wins and 2 draws), the very LAST thing anyone should be doing is narking at a point gained at Newcastle.

Onto the most important game this or any other season for those of us from/ who still live in the City. Ruining the S last big day out at the ground made of wood. AGAIN!

Up the title surging Reds!

EXCL: Liverpool have made a contract offer to Virgil van Dijk. Opening proposal some time ago - no breakthrough yet on deal value or length but talks continue. Salah offer anticipated soon. #LFC dialogue also ongoing with Alexander-Arnold @TheAthleticFC

If this weather I’m looking out on continues, or indeed worsens, I’d say there’s little chance of the game going ahead. But hopefully Mother Nature is kind to us as the very last thing anyone wants is another midweek, end of season Derby. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Funny how your perceptions differ, wherever in the World you happen to be. I fully understand the Worldwide fanbase viewing Utd as the most important, must win game of the season. Theres NO bigger game/ rivalry in World football after all. But if you are from/ still live in the City, the Derby’s still the game you look out for more than any other and want to win.

Hopefully today, we not only add to the excellent point at Newcastle by making this a superb week with 3 more on our last league visit to the pit. But we send the Blue S a step nearer a LONG overdue relegation.

Straight into these bitter mongrels Redmen!

Hope everyone up there is all safe! Not sure what its like up there, but its pretty awful down here, and im not even in a warning zone

That's a pity about the match.
I was looking forward to a good game of ball (also have Salah as FPL captain)

Just seen this. Ta la. Never known wind like that. Just stepping outside was an experience Sat’day. Mad that they didn’t call it off Friday. Disgraceful that it took 40 mins after the official meeting Saturday morning to ‘officially’ announce it. Know a lad who works for the Ev, and he text at 8 AM saying not to leave the house, they’d just had a meeting and sent all the stewards home and the Police were packing up. Took until just after 9 for L’pool to put something on the website.

Frustrating, but all n all a great weekend. We get to rest up. Whilst the only other team I maintain is our business dropped again at Palace to open up a potential 11 point lead.

Hearing Wednesday, February 12 will be the rearranged date.

Pre-season CL, league phase, top 8 qualification objective hopefully reached after this week’s round of games.

As if being part of the ‘City Football Group’ wasn’t reason enough to root against/ dislike Girona, seeing the upper section of three sides of their ground completely empty raised that ire further. I’d imagine they struggled to top 10K tonight in their S 14,624 stadium. Which all makes more of a mockery of the P poor 493 allocation that has me sat at home typing this and not enjoying a pre-Chrimbo break in Catalonia. (Only 4 of our crew dropped lucky. 1 this past week in a late sale. The rest of us dipped out.). Hopefully, after this week’s round of games, they will be out of Europe completely for a LONG time to come.

On the pitch, a mad, but really enjoyable end-to-end watch that. Very reminiscent of an old school, third round FA Cup tie at a much smaller clubs ground. Maybe after watching that, those calling for heavy rotation pre-game will now realise why you don’t do that at Europes top table where there are NO easy games. Not least away. No team at this level are mugs. Girona made that as hard as any of our 6 victories in Europe to date have been this season. All to be undone by a senseless van de Beek peno on Luchio. You can take the player out of Everton/ Utd and all that ….. 🤦‍♂️

On the subject of why you play a strong side, what an absolutely imperious return from Alisson. 😍Utterly imposing and commanding like he’d never been away. With some belter saves first half to keep Girona’s enthusiasm at bay. Kelleher has been a superb deputy. But now the Worlds best is back, there really is NO debate the Brazilian has now reclaimed his shirt back for Fulham and every league game thereafter.

Superb to get Harvey a 15 minute runout too. The best squad in the land is getting stronger and stronger at just the right time of the season

This absurdly awesome, historical run under Arne continues with a magnificent 19th win out of his first 22 games.

Roll on Fulham and the charge to #20.

Up the European expert Reds!

Whats your opinion on Nunez @Scouseinthehouse ? I know the both of us love him and what he brings to the team but with Jota out it was a chance for him to say I am Slot's first choice number 9. Strikers are ultimately judged by their goals and for me I so desperately want it to work out for him but I feel this is as good as it gets for him in front of goal. I don't see him staying past this summer as its his third season and there's only so much you can say if he put it all together.

Ahhh Darwin. The current hot topic aye?

It's interesting watching the complete opposite views of Darwin from how hero worshiped he is at the match. To how many want him replaced on-line.

I get it totally. I mean I, like yourself, personally love him for all his frustrating faults. For want of a better way of putting it, he's the Scousest (New word?) player we have. Someone with the exact same attitude and love for the club as yourself who goes out and gives every last drop of energy he has every game. And who doesn't give a flying F what anyone has to say about him and us. He just gets us totally and he never stops grafting to improve. Then you get things like the Uruguay incident at the Copa, when he dived in defending his family without a seconds thought, which just endears him to you even more. But within that, comes the frustration of his often glaring misses which I get totally when people are just looking at a number 9 and his goal output. SO frustrating as he's shown, when he puts it all together, he's an absolutely unplayable number 9.

Nunez last year had 31 goal involvements. (18 goals and 13 assists). And hit the woodwork a further what, 13/14 times. You know it's in there. I just think he's totally bereft of confidence right now and badly needs to just scuff one in. Or have one go in off his A! I'd start him again Sat'day personally. But I get why many wouldn't. And it's becoming harder and harder to argue against that the longer this goes.

Interestingly, there was ridiculously high praise of him from Mo this week saying he's his favourite partner outside of Bobby and a totally misunderstood player. Which smacks of what Owen always used to say about the similarly oft maligned Heskey being his all time favourite partner.

Players know.

I highly doubt he's moved on the summer as there's bigger succession needs currently than another forward.

But it needs to click sooner rather than later as Slot isn't one to F around.

Cant disagree with anything you said there scouse. Slot doesn't suffer no fools. I do think a forward will be pursued in the summer though. I'd like Cunha personally he looks ready for the step up. If Wolves go down be would a great pickup.
