The Manchester United Thread

Was always gonna be a few changes today considering. Teams more than good enough to beat Fulham. Mata and Dalot should work great together!

Fulham team
Starting XI: Rico, Odoi, Le Marchand, Ream, Bryan, Seri, Chambers, Schurrle, Babel, Vietto, Mitrovic (c)
Subs: Fabri, Christie, Anguissa, Cairney, Kebano, Sessegnon, Ayite

Manchester United team
Starting XI: De Gea (c), Dalot, Jones, Smalling, Shaw, Herrera, Matic, Pogba, Mata, Lukaku, Martial
Subs: Romero, Bailly, Young, McTominay, Alexis, Rashford, Lingard

u18s 0-1 down due to an own goal at HT.

I expected changes but looking at that Fluham front 3 on paper it's pretty good!

Our best attacker doing his thing. What a goal.

Yup but still everything goes down the left and our right side is seemingly out of the game. Don't get me wrong Fulham are terrible but Lukaku still needs to get into the game more. Like 3 touches in 30 mins.

2 great goals so far!

U18s Finished 1-1 Elanga with the equaliser. Fair result both teams had good chances. Both had a man sent off. Greenwood’s finishing cost us the win today.

Fulham with some bad challenges so far!

Good half and more of the same please :)

Good 45 mins, after a shaky start. Got to say our first team players like Pogba, Martial and Shaw doing the business once again. Lukaku is awful with his overall gameplay not in the game once again! Can't wait to see Rashford back and hopefully Martial vs PSG as well.

Dalot got better as the half has gone on, Smalling/Jones decent after shaky start.

Never writing off this Fulham side because they have a better squad than their position suggests. Plus they are fighting for their lives and are 7 points off Burnley so it's not completely out the window they can survive. They have Ranieri who is the magic man.

Your joking aren’t yer?

These are well down. It’s smacks of Bradford, Ipswich and many more before them. Get some money. Spend it madly with no real thought of buiding a team that fits together in a real hodge-podge of a mess. Names on paper but this isn’t a video game.

Getting in Ranieri was the final act of desperation. Even Cardiff under that humongous gobshite have an identy and are solid to give them a chance of survival. Fulham have none.

Huddersfield and Fulham are LONG gone and it’s a mad fight for that last relegation place between the next 4-6 sides.

Which again is a real shame as Fulhams a belter of an away day out.

This. Abject mess.

Apologies they are even worse than I thought they'd be better under Ranieri but they are pretty woeful. After they played vs Brighton and come back from a losing position to win, thought they might be on a bounce but going off today probably not.

Perfect day at the office it would seem. Used **** all gas, Pogba & Martial hooked early (with maximum confidence) and likes of Rashford, Bailly and Lindelof spared. Job well done Ole. Worked out very nicely going into PSG

I want Chelsea to get smashed tomorrow, but then again we're fighting for top 4 not a title.

Lukaku looks miles off being a United striker with his overall game, no pressure on Rashford whatsoever he breezes into this starting 11.

Good job done all around. On to PSG.

We know Rashford is No1 Ole has made that obvious. Do t think there’s been a match you have not bashed Lukaku after the final whistle. What did he actually do wrong today? Won us the 3rd goal. Positioned himself well to stop the GK passing it out. Won numerous flick ons and got behind the ball defensively when we didn’t have it. He didn’t get any chances on target or shots due to him not getting any service in the box where he’s most dangerous.

He's just so sloppy with the ball and never looks fully in control of it. Sure he made a bit of effort, but Rashford is just levels above in terms of his off the ball movement. Running into the channels and in behind etc, technical ability generally.

Again we know this already. I bet Lukaku would of most likely scored the few sitters that Rashford has missed and has and nearly cost us points the last few weeks against Leicester and especially Burnley. Yes Lukaku can do better but we know he’s a in the box scorer. But tbh out crossing is ****** awful from wide! He’s never been a great link up player. Rashford suits us better and creates more chances. But he also makes loads of bad decisions during games. Don’t see the need to constantly bash Lukaku despite not doing anything wrong and just having a solid match.

thing with rashford is if you give him time to think about he will mess up just give him the ball with no time to think and 9 times out of 10 its in the back of the net hes still young so he will get better at it and this lukaku hate i dont get we won be happy and wait for the next game
