NEW: During staff meeting Ruben Amorim praised Bruno Fernandes for turning down much more money at Al-Hilal.Jason Wilcox praised Benjamin Sesko for accepting lower Manchester United salary than on offer at Newcastle. CEO Omar Berrada spoke about a change in culture and a new beginning and reset of the club’s financial model. Also spoke about new CBO Mark Armstrong excellent work, while coming in. And getting Manchester United some of the biggest sponsorship deals in world football in such a short period. [@lauriewhitwell]

I agree ToD, Delap may have been first choice but he has only had one season in the Premiership Cunha, and Melebeo (I know that's not how you spell it) proven and still young, whilst Sesko is more of a risk. Let's just hope the board give Chelsea a rude awakening by sticking to their valuation for Garnacho, there is no way he should be leaving for £30m despite what has gone on. If they don't want to pay then tough the player will miss out on a payday and the World Cup

I think Garnacho will leave for around 40-45 total deal

Me too which would be a fairer price especially if they also insert a sell on clause (we all know Chelsea like to buy young players then sell them after a couple of seasons for profit).

Yeah least this way both clubs can save a bit of face. Hopefully Sancho F off to Roma soon
