12 million bid for Bony from Vitesse. If these players don't improve 'Castle and they go down, well gosh.
 
They're two points above it. I don't think they'll go down, but they're far from safe.
 
i think the toon will be in the top 10 coming end of season, though i still have my doubts about Pardew, maybe we should bring in a french manager like Blanc to complete our french connection lol
 
as for ranger i just hope they terminate his contract or get rid for free

What 3 teams will pick up more points than Newcastle this season surely should be the question you want to ask?

Reading could be in for a run of form especially after their recent games, Wigan always waits til the end to come out of hibernation. Don't write off Harry's QPR. I'm not saying Newcastle will go down because I don't think they will but right now you cannot say Newcastle won't go down looking at their current run of form they are shooting theirselves in the foot. Plus we don't know what effect all these French players will have on the squad. You guys have won what twice since the start of December in all competitions? That is very worrying. The only thing you have going for you is you are out of the FA Cup but you still have the Europa League on Thursdays.

I can name 3 teams that will pick up more points than Newcastle. United, City and Spurs. Newcastle's squad are to good to go down. They wont get relegated

I'm talking relegation threatened sides, you could also make the case Newcastle's squad the last time they went down were too good to go down as well and what happened there.
 
You say not to write off QPR but they need 35 points from 15 games to get to the magic 40. An average of over 2 points a game. They are going down. Aston Villa are ***** they are going down. The 3rd team will be either Reading, Southampton or Norwich
 
Since 02-03 a team has only had to hit the 40 point to be safe from relegation twice and one of those times was the 02-03 season. So you can't really go by that anymore.
 
Confident Newcastle won't go down. To those questioning why so many players are being signed it's because the squad is depleted and they are a neccessity. Very few signings in the summer means we have to bulk up now. Squad was small enough for a European campaign and has been obliterated by injuries. If Perch and Willamson are regulars in your team you know something is wrong.

Oh and the stat of Ranger scoring 4 first team goals but being arrested 5 times in his life says it all. Get him out of the club ASAP

Raheem Sterling has more kids than goals scored atm so as a Liverpool fan I can see where you're coming from.
