It's a bit premature looking at Rooney's next club just because he hasn't signed the contract. It's been said before, but nobody negotiates a contract when they're off form and in Fergie's bad books, so my guess is when his form improves he'll sign the contract. I'd be shocked if he did leave in January.
 
We'll see what Fergie has to say tomorrow in his Champions League press conference.

To be fair Barce do have the money. All the bullshit about not paying their players and taking out a loan was because the tv company didn't pay them.

Would he even start for Barce anyway. And traditionally English players have failed in Spain.
 
I think this is good,just look all the media is talking about him leaving the club which IMO wont happen and no media are talking about his private life.Now it will be easier for him to concentrate on football.I don't think there has been a fall out with Fergie,he dropped him on the bench because of his bad form and because of that the media is talking about him leaving the club and not about his private life.
 
Really? Alex Ferguson has just said himself that Rooney wants to leave so i dont think he is staying at United past this season.

i dont understand after all we as a club have done for him and his career and this is how he repays us? well your better off gone, i for one don't want people wearing that shirt without pride and passion when there will be plenty others who will.

Rooney wanting to leave is big big news Man U either need to convince him to say or they need to say Man City in January hes yours for 80-90 million otherwise he could leave for nothing
 
I can see him signing for City especially if the rumoured £500,000 a week are true. Bad news for you Man Utd but as MisterStubbs said no one is bigger than the club and someone else will come and wear the shirt with pride.
 
Absolutely gutted. SAF and United made Rooney. Ronaldo was better on and off the pitch.

Well going to the game tomorrow, and I hope Rooney gets on and he can learn what the United fans think of him. He is our god. Hope the fans get behind him tomorrow.

Totally baffled to be honest. Is it just united he wants to get away from or england in general?
 
any chances for him to leave England? maybe gone to German or Spain

That's a shame. Wanted to show our support. Well if SAF has said he didn't fall out with Rooney my guess it would be down to the press which would suggest that he wants to get out of the country. If hegoes to City I will be ******* raging, unless we get 80+mill from them I would be gutted.

Hopefully we can maybe get some cash from Madrid and Benzema in exchange.

Absolutely gutted.

Only City Barca Real and Chelsea could afford him. Its very unlikely SAF will let him leave for a domestic rival ( we didnt even let heinze go to liverpool)
 
How do you replace Wayne Rooney? Interesting dilemma there.

United need to try and get some money for him before his contract wears down and he leaves on a free... how tragic would that be? Although, it's doubtful that you'll see much of it anyway.

I guess that's one of the problems with United's new contract renewal system. Silly if you ask me.

im thinking madrid and benzema too. SAF has said he wants him to stay so i cant see that theres been a falling out, maybe he does want out of the country. If that is the case, cant say i blame him
 
support? you think Wayne will be supports? go on the redcafe forum and see how many people have turned their backs on him already and i am one of them

the new contract policy is a ridiculous gamble, that looks to have backfired in the worst possible way at the moment
