The Premier League Thread

So people still think Wigan are resigned to relegation? Just get these three games out of the way V Chelsea, Liverpool and United and we should start picking up points again, possibly 1 or 2 against these big 3.

Chelsea and Arsenal matches during holidays in jeopardy due to planned industrial action by the greedy ******* tube drivers. How nice of them.

Norwich leading Wolves 1-0. Canaries great season continues

That's harsh - it's a ****** job, and if they feel they have the right to ask for a raise they probably have a valid reason.

Yeah but 3 times the usual pay? No way. Other people who work over the holidays don't get that and have shittier jobs. they get on with it without complaining or going on strike

Not many jobs are shittier than spending 8 hours underground, you can count on that. Then again, when they go on strike here they let you travel for free, which basically lets you go anywhere in Buenos Aires without spending a penny. They don't screw people over and still hit the company in the nuts.

Put it this way. The salary of tube drivers is rising to £50,000 which is more than soldiers and nurses, and work less than a bus driver. Figure that one out.

But I digress. This is a football thread

Yeah we've kind of strayed off topic. But since this is a football thread - footballers get paid more money than soldiers, nurses AND tube drivers for kicking a ball around.

Buddy, I'm an expat living in France. They can't go for a **** here without going for a strike about it, they're favourite times are particularly over the xmas period when it is at its busiest and without warning. Uk has it easy still in that respect.

Well, France has always been a bit of a volatile place... :p

Majority of them yeah. But half the time it's the club going stupid with the money and offering stupid wages. Hard to say no tbh.

Well, back on topic, Bolton lead 2-0 at Blackburn. Steve Kean's time is up?

Forgot about that match lol. Has to be time for Venky's to let go of Kean. He's just not cut out for Prem management. If not the fans will get worse and worse. Should've stuck with Big Sam.
