Just going to leave this here. It is the NET spend of each Premier league team in the last five years on players.
You can see what teams have spent the most at the top end which is no suprise.
Tottenham are bottom with Levy playing Moneyball tactics. Leaves Tottenham in good shape but shows they are a buy small sell big club.

Tottenham are in very good shape money wise. Considering we have an average attendance of around 36,000 at the lane the business model of Joe Lewis and Daniel Levy has kept Spurs in a very good financial shape. We now have a world class training facility and with the new stadium round the corner things are looking good for the future.

For example, Bale was never worth 100 Million but somehow Spurs got a wonderful gift thereby covering up their transfer money.
Luiz is never ever worth 50 Million, so that deal covers up the transfer money.

.

Disagree with this. Tottenham massively helped Bale develop into the World class player he is. For his age and performances on top he is worth every penny. He has proven with Madrid in his first season that he can cut it.. To call it a gift the amount we got is just silly. We have a chairman that knows how to negotiate and get the best deal for the club. To get the money we did for Bale was about right.

Wait really? That's a shame. He was **** good at his job.

Seeing alot of Webb United jokes doing the rounds now.

These are tongue in cheek so please don't be offended......

Which squad number will Manchester United retire in Howard Webb's honour, then?

Howard Webb retires as a referee. Unconfirmed reports: Statue to be built outside Old Trafford.

Louis van Gaal begins summer clear out as he decides not to renew Howard Webb's contract at Manchester United.

Howard Webb is to retire from refereeing after 25 years. Reports suggest that he'll be taking a position as Fergie's butler

AW MAI GAWD

Webb was not perfect but no referees are. He was definitely one of the best around. Real shame, that.

Good riddance. The man was never good for anything. Typical ref that just wants to be in a spotlight too much. 2010 WC final - never forget. Luckily for him England always busts out of the tournaments early so he always got to stick around and ruin a lot of high profile games.

Like Brazil - Chile this year, yeah?

One decent game in how many hundreds messed up? Stevie Wonder would have better ratio just by flipping a coin at every decision.

He reffed over 500 games and probably made about 5 mistakes. Still better than other refs. He is human after all and wont get everything correct. When you are a qualified ref then you can criticise how easy it is then to ref matches at the top end of the game.

I'm not even sure if you're trolling. You're good.

er... the big criticism that people make of Webb is that he has a tendency to bottle big decisions, which is the complete opposite of what you're saying. But I'm not sure if you're trolling or not.

Considering how City's defence looked yesterday, he's signed not a moment too soon.

Quite funny how reluctantly Mangala has accepted this move, it's almost as if he didn't want to go there!

**** it, Forster to Soton. Probably gonna play then.

And here I was excited to have 3 polish goalkeepers in first squads of the PL.
