Grown men (term used VERY loosely) that. But the club won’t do anything so why should they care?

Eddie Howe...
Interesting choice by Newcastle.

The Geordies shithouses must be underwhelmed, to say the least. How's that blood money working out for yers now aye lads? 🤣🤣🤣

We should run a book on how many days it will be before he gets homesick. Burnley was too far North. F knows what he'll make of the grim North East?

Better appointment than the manager. Will take them a while to attacked the big names yet.

Oh yeah for sure. That said, Emelano was integral to the development of the Chelsea youth system which imo, is the best in the country at the moment.

Mount, Reece James, Christensen, Hudson-Odoi, Loftus-Cheek, Trevor Chalobah, Livramento,Marc Guehi, Connor Gallagher and Billy Gilmour all products and solid to great EPL players.

Yeah but bought a **** load of players and loaned them out for years and years also which many were never heard of again. But yes Chelsea and Us are the best imo youth wise.

Curious if Howe is their long term choice or a stop gap option to keep them and gets binned in the summer.

They might try to push some English club vibe maybe? English coach, hoard young players in, sell with English tax profit?

Ahh never mind, probably blow out some silly money and by summer have new coach. Hoped to see Howe next in nice project.

Working under that humongous C____!!!! Purslow aside, 🤬, I couldn't think of a better stepping stone back down South for Gerrard.

Villa are a traditional, massive club. With the support and trophy history to back that up. The preverbal sleeping giant And Dean Smith has left the club in a tremendously healthy position. Really good squad with the best crop of young kids they've had coming through in a generation. And he'll be backed in the transfer market. They are set up to continue moving forward. Plus he wouldn't have to relocate to Birmingham per se given it's just down the M6.

He couldn't wish for a better set-up if he wants to make a first statement in English football as a manager.

Although it will be proper weird having him managing against us like.
