Wow mate i could use some tips from your pages. I'll play my season out and then look to do a story like this, so much better than Nooby text like i'm doing currently. Virgin to FM2010 and Virgin to Stories Clearly.

Best of luck to ya

January Update

FA Cup 3rd Round
Shrewsbury 1-1 Bristol City
Goals: Neal (57) Elliot (41)
MOM: Elliot

A very good game that we probably should have won but are happy to still be in the hat. The atmosphere at the ground was unbelievable. We will hopefully use our Home advantage to progress in the replay.

Coca Cola Championship Match Day 25
Crystal Palace 1-1 Bristol City
Goals: Lee (22) Boyd (57)
Sent Off Derry (73)
MOM: Lee

Crystal Palace will be very disappointed not to have got 3 points here as they bossed the game until the sending off. However this is a good away point and should not be laughed at.

FA Cup 3rd Round Replay
Bristol City 1-0 Shrewsbury
Goals: Carey (33)
MOM: Carey

A solid win but again Shrewsbury traveled in numbers and gave a good account of themselves. We are pleased to be in the hat for the fourth round.

Bristol City 3-1 Preston
Goals: Macheda (13) (34) Clarkson (51) Parkin (74)
MOM: Macheda

A good home win to get us back on track. Macheda was superb today and I can see why he is rated so highly at Old Trafford. We must move on and have the FA cup next.

FA Cup 4th Round
Bristol City 2-2 Leicester City
Goals: Macheda (.6) Clarkson (50) Hobbs (63) Wellens (87)

We are very very upset about throwing away a two goal lead! We looked to be cruising then we took the foot of the gas an bang its all square. We now must go the the Walkers in the replay which is never and easy place to go.

Salernitana sign Bristols Ryce

Today Sky Sports understand that Bristol City's Jamel Campbell-Ryce has signed for Salernitana for a fee believed to be around the 400k mark. The Bristol City boss is said to be gathering up the funds to complete the signing of an unknown Premier League kid. We have not heard who the player is as of yet but Bristol City have confirmed they are close to a deal for a Premier League player.

Robins Sign Arsenal Star

The BCC today can break the news that Bristol City have completed the signing of Arsenal whiz kid Fran Merida. Merida joins Bristol City for a sum believed to be around 600k. It is believed Merida had fallen out with the back room staff at Arsenal and so wanted to move on.

Fran the Man

The BCC have also received a statement from the Bristol City manager:

We are delighted to have signed such a great player for an absolute bargain. There where a lot of Europe's finest clubs after Fran, including Real Madrid and Roma, so we still cant believe we have the Spaniard at Ashton Gate :D

Bristol City have also confirmed that they have rejected several approaches by Wolves and Stoke for George Boyd and they insist the player is not for sale.

Coca Cola Championship Match Day 28
Middlesbrough 1-1 Bristol City
Goals: Smallwood (59) Clarkson (83)
MOM: Fontaine

A game we had no right to get a point from but super sub Clarkson pulled us out of a whole. Boro will be kicking themselves they didn't win this game.

Player of the Month: Coleman

The young full back has been very solid all season and particularly good this month. He is a constant threat every game and is a very assured defender.

It was a very busy month for the club with transfer activity, FA cup and league games all going on but all in all i think it was a tough but good month for the club. We still sit top of a very tight table and are still in the FA cup. We also managed to keep hold of all our star players and add Fran Merida who is of the highest standard.

Good Luck m8 i can smell Bristol already in the EPL :D Keep Boydy he is the man u need to win promotion ! i will keep following !

Doing a cracking job mate!! Keep it up...the Premiership wont know whats hit them!!

Congratulations, your doing well.
Premiership is just around the corner.

See if you can get Hooper and De Laet who are both awesome in the championship

Only just found this story now, there is no need for me to repeat what everyone else has said about how good your story is. Good luck for the rest of the season and the next (hopefully in the prem) and keep the updates coming mate :)

FA Cup 4th Round Replay
Leicester 0-3 Bristol City
Goals: McCourt (19) (43) Macheda (75)
MOM: McCourt

A great performance from the lads to take us in to the next round. McCourt was on fire and Leicester could not handle him. We are delighted to be into the next round :D with hopefully a big team at home waiting for us.

Bristol City have been paired with Premiership Sunderland in the 5th round of the FA Cup. The match will be played at the Stadium of Light!

Coca Cola Championship Match Day 29
Bristol City 1-1 Coventry
Goals: Macheda (90+3) Rodriquez (51)
MOM: Smith

Macheda pulled us out of a whole but in truth we really should have been winning this match. It is a blow to your title hopes but we must not dwell and but it behind us.

Coca Cola Championship Match Day 30
Watford 1-0 Bristol City
Goals: Cleverley (.6)
MOM: Cleverley

We rested most of the first team regulars in this match and payed the price. we had one eye on the FA Cup tie in a couple of days time. I hope we don't regret this decision further down the line. We now hope to have a big performance in the cup.

FA Cup 5th Round
Sunderland 3-2 Bristol City
Goals: Bent (53) (76) Turner (pen90+3) McCourt (35) Skuse (80)
MOM: Bent

Football can be so so so cruel at times and this was one of those times. We played brilliant and deserved at least a draw. We thought we had earned a replay back at Ashton Gate but it wasn't to be. The ref awarded a soft penalty 1 minute over injury time :(

Coca Cola Championship Match Day 31
Bristol City 1-1 Leicester
Goals: Capi (26) Bruce (60)
MOM: Capi

This ended a very bad week for the club. We where still a bit leggy for the cup game but we still expected 3 points and only ended up with 1. Capi scored a wonder goal that could be a goal of the season contender.

Coca Cola Championship Match Day 32
Bristol City 2-1 West Brom
Goals: Macheda (27) (56) Dorrans (5)
MOM: Macheda

A great comeback from the lads that was a must win game for us to get back on track. Macheda stood up and was counted when we needed someone to. We must push on an try an get a win against Ipswich to but a good end to the month.

Muamba has really been great this month. the amount of work he got through was unbelievable. Owen Coyle will be very reluctant to let this man return next year.

A very tough month which we managed to turn round in the last two games with 6 points. We are still gutted at the way in which we exited the FA Cup but the league is our priority now. It is seriously tight at the top with 4 points separating the top 5 teams. As the season is drawing to a close it is essential that we keep plugging away and picking up as many points as we can get our hands on.

Unlucky about the FA cup mate.
A good 6 points at the end of the month.
It's tight and anything can happen in the championship but I'm sure you'll make it
Good Luck

Coca Cola Championship Match Day 36
Reading 2-2 Bristol City
Goals: Hughes (24) Salpingidis (82) Clarkson (34) (80)
Sent Off: Fontaine (68)
MOM: Clarkson

We played a lot better today against a top class team. We thought we had won it when Clarkson scored on the break but Readings top man Salpingidis, who has now scored 38 goals this season, rescued a point for Reading.

Coca Cola Championship Match Day 37

Coca Cola Championship Match Day 39
Peterborough 0-1 Bristol City
Goals: Maynard (61)
MOM: Maynard

Another great 1-0 win! The fans are starting to sing 1-0 to the Robins. We really are starting to dig deep and grid out these results. The lads are starting to show a fighting spirit that we are going to need.

League Table

I got carried away and played the first two games of April and forgot to take a screen shot so I will show the table after the second game in the April update. We are currently sitting one point clear at the top of the table ;D

Managers View

A very tough month for the club which we managed to pull through and come out smelling of roses. We managed to put 3 1-0 wins in a row to find our form again. We have a massive month ahead of us in April. We must come together as a team more than ever now.

You'll be fine mate.
Merida seems to have been a good signing.
Keep up the good work

Cheers mate hope so. Yeah he has been a real bargain now. Keep following :D
