Try and get Cabanas. He's in his early thirties but when I played on an old Leeds save he scored 30 goals in first season.

Season Preview

With the Premier League season fast approaching the Bristol City squad an staff are looking forward to their trips to grounds such as Anfield, The Emirates, Stamford Bridge and Old Trafford.

Bristol will be playing here next year

The Board have given me a budget of £18 Million to avoid relegation. After looking at the squad I have identified areas in which we need to strengthen. These include a Number 1 Goalkeeper, a strong Centre Back, another Holding Midfielder and finally at least 2 more Strikers.

These signings will have to fit into the new tactics we will be adopting this season. Which is shown below.

Any suggestions on transfer target would be great :D

Could Rodallega be joining Bristol City from Relegated Wigan

Try and get Romelu Lukaku.

He will be a great signing for your team, and if you do not want to waste your budget, use monthly installments.

Transfer Update

After the board had given my the transfer kitty everyone at the club got to work on trying to find the right people that would take the club forward. Here's an over view of Bristol Ctiys activity in the window.

Ins

Nicolas Burdisso (Free)

Nicolas is a very experienced centre back with Champions League experience with both Inter and Roma. I expect him to nail down a regular spot an be the back bone of our defense. We our delight to get Nicolas on a free as it saves us spending big money on a centre half.

Edgar Cani (Free)

Edgar is a young striker who failed to get a new contract at Palermo last term. He is only 21 and looks to have a bright future ahead of him. His value jumped straight to £5 Million after he signed a contract. I hope he can slot in one of my attacking 3 slots.

Jamie O'Hara (£2.2 Milion From Tottenham)

Jamie is a great signing for the club and is a good young English player with Premiership experience. I expect him to be a big player for us this season and at £2.2 Million is a bargain.

Charles N'Zogbia (£7.5 Million From Wigan)

A great signing for the club that smashed the clubs record signing. We are expecting big things from Charles this year and we will most likely be playing as an attacking full back.

Mohamed Diame (£5 Million From Wigan)

A another great signing from Wigan and Diame will just sit in front of the back four and command the game.

Allan Mc Gregor (£1.2 Million From Rangers)

Allan is an experienced stopper who will wear the Number 1 shirt this season and we will be looking for the Scottish Goal Keeper to become a big performer this year.

Kris Boyd (£3 Million From Rangers)

Kris is a proven goalscorer in the SPL and we hope we can carry that form into the English game. Kris will be the vocal point of the 3 prong attack and we will be really looking to him to score our goals if we are to stay up.

Jimmy Briand (Free)

Another free signing for the club. Jimmy is a striker with pace and he are hoping we can break into the first team an score goals.

Ritchie De Laet (Loan Fee £425k From Man Utd)

Ritchie comes in and will act as cover for anywhere along the back four. His versatility is one of his best assets and should be used a fair bit this season.

Outs

Bradley Orr (£1.3 Million To Burnley)

Bradley had lost his place to Coleman last year and so wanted to move on to get first team football so we didn't stand in his way.

Paul Hartley (£140k To Blackpool)

Paul was getting on a bit and we didn't think we would be up to the Premier League standard and so we decoded to let him go.

Paul_Hartley_1437918c.jpg

Peter Styvar (£1.2 Million To Recreativo)

Peter was out on loan last year and again we didn't feel he was up to the Premier League standard so we let him move on.

We also let some young guns head out on loan to gain experience. These included Sergi who joined Napoli on loan, Ribeiro went to Southampton and Hayes joined Swansea.

We also has to let a few lads leave the club on free transfers. the players where Lee Trundle, Jamie Mc Allister and Frankie Artus

Transfer Overview

We are very pleased with our dealings in the transfer market and we feel that we have enough quality to achieve our targets which is to remain in the league.

(What does everyone think of my transfers? who will be a success or who will flop?)
