Pedersens avg rating was far better than Roberts. Times are changing, Pedersen os the future of San Marino:p

Um, you're 28, I'm 28. We're gonna be replaced by Aldo Junior Simonchi's fu**ing son now, the way he just stole our spots in the 1st few seasons! :p

End of Season Update - 2025/2026
(there was no January transfers so decided to skip the mid-season update for speed)

Stephen Hawkwind continues to get better every season since his move to Monaco, smashing the 20 goal barrier in the league for the first time in his career and getting 36 in all competitions. Zonta was fantastic for Atletico again, as was Mason for City. Both contributed heavily to their teams with goals and assists and this was reflected in their high average ratings. National team skipper Del Conte had arguably the best year of his career, contributing 13 goals and 14 assists in all competitions from the middle of the park (as well as 12 yellow cards and 1 red!). Matthew Harrison had another solid season at Schalke whilst Rizzolli had the best year of his career for Valencia after finally escaping French football.

Lewie Roberts won yet another Ligue 1 title with PSG, although they were pushed pretty close by Hawkwind's AS Monaco. Mylo Xyloto won the Eredvisie in his first season in Dutch football with Feyenoord, whilst Matthew Harrison's Schalke side missed out on the Bundesliga title to a side from Munich by just 1 point, but not the Munich side you would expect as 1860 Munich won the German title. Brian Shaw's Bayern finished in a disappointing 5th. Del Conte's Chelsea side bounced back from their terrible league season last year to finish runners up in the Premier League, whilst Naterr's Tottenham bounced back from relegation by winning the Championship title and breaking the 100 point barrier in the process!

Other News:

1)
Burrini, Hawkins and Mason all started in the Champions League final for Manchester City, however they could not prevent their team suffering a heartbreaking 1-0 defeat to city rivals Manchester United.

3)
Alfie Romeo came off the bench in the Spanish Cup final but could not prevent his team from losing to Real Madrid 3-2.

THE REASON THAT WE DID ****, WAS PEDERSEN. :'(
Nah, I'm certain it's because Hawkwind wasn't the one in charge to lead the front line at the height of his club performances :(

What a surprise, another player moving to Citeh. :p
And that folks, is how Hawkwind's brief spell of legit superstardom end. The $$$ must be good tho so I won't complain.

National Team Update - 2026

Fixtures:

View attachment 251423

We managed to win all 3 friendlies we play this year but could only manage 3 points from our 4 European Nation League games against Italy and Spain. We did however manage to beat Italy in captain Del Conte's 100th appearance for the national team, with goals from Del Conte himself and Stefano Zonta. Unfortunately this wasn't enough to avoid relegation into the second tier of the nations league. Matthew Hawkins also received his 100th cap against Hungary.

World Ranking:

Up 4 places from last year but 45th isn't what we wanted in the prime years of our careers.

Best 11:

No best 11 made for 2026 so I could only put in the overall one.

Next update will be a mid-season transfer update, anyone got any requests for specific screenshots?

I'd love to see my player profile! (Burrini)

Player Stats:

Charley Mason, who is a now a club icon at Manchester City after just 3 years at the club, was the only player to score more than 20 goals this season. His strike partner at City got the most man of the matches with 7 whilst Man City midfielder Hawkins assisted the most goals with 21. Schalke winger Harrison had the highest average rating with 7.42. Del Conte got the most cards with 12 (shock) and Pedersen yet again didn't make 1 first team appearance this season (even bigger shock). Stefano Zonta is now a club icon at Atletico and Reuben Gotts is a favoured personnel at Fulham.

Stefano Zonta's Atletico finally managed to win their Spanish title back off Romeo's Barcelona. Matthew Harrison won his first Bundesliga title with Schalke, whereas Lewie Roberts won yet another league title with PSG. Luigi Naterr's Tottenham got relegated from the Premier League for the second time in 3 seasons and Barry Juggernaut suffered relegation from Serie A with Catania, whilst Hugh Conron headed in the opposite direction with promotion from Serie B with Vicenza.

Other News:

1)
Burrini, Hawkins and Hawkwind all started Manchester City's Champions league win over Real Madrid with Charley Mason coming off the bench. Matthew Hawkins gave City the lead in extra time with a penalty. Man City also won the FA Cup on penalties, with Hawkins missing his penalty in the shootout but Burrini scored his.

2)
Alfie Romeo came off the bench in Barcelona's 2-1 loss against Real Madrid in the Spanish Cup final, whereas Brian Shaw was an unused sub for Bayern in their Europa League final win over Montpellier.

3) This has nothing to do with any of us, but what is this chairman thinking???

View attachment 250948

Next update will be a player update if people are still interested in seeing their attributes at this stage? If not I can just do a summer transfer update and we'll get through it a bit quicker?

Stefano Zonta is now a club icon at Atletico

Wow... That sure is quite the pleasant surprise ^^
Also it's nice to see Atlético lifting yet another Liga BBVA and Zonta being a vital part of it.

The national team sure is having an incredibly rough time as of late, they completely botched their chances of qualifying for a World Cup in a relatively easy group (neither Scotland nor Israel are better than the current San Marino).
And also our first relegation in the Euro Nations League, however unlike what happened in the World Cup Qualifiers since both Spain and Italy are world level powerhouses.

Nevertheless, it's time to stand up once again and show what we're made of.

.P.S.:
This has nothing to do with any of us, but what is this chairman thinking???

He's most likely taking advantage of both Not-so-Super Mario's feelings (Lumezzane was Balotelli's starting club so it must be special to him) and reputation to give Lumezzane a bit more of notoriety.
Probably he won't do jack as Lumezzane's manager, but the modest Lombard club will sure appear a lot in the Gazzetta dello Sport's pages during his stay there.

100 caps. And a goal on it too.

#SuckItHawkins
100 caps, 2 (I think) Premier League titles, two FA Cups and Champions League

This season=21 assists, worth £40.5m, an FA Cup and a Champions League

#SuckItDelConte

I'd like to see Hawkwind's attributes and personal information page, please :D

-edit-: Nevermind, reserve it for the next update instead :p
