Wouldn't see why they need to raise the funds considering their owner has quite a bit of money unless he is tight for cash atm. Could be a good signing for Liverpool though and would add some much needed width to their team.

Apparently we are still in for Carroll, though we should be saving that money for Luis Suarez who we are also reportedly interested in?

Pacey? Not the paciest, but quick enough I guess. What he is is a technically proficient winger, good at set-pieces, very good crosser and improving with his finishing.
