Well if they bid that, then it triggers the release clause in his contract.

Just depends if they negotiate the contract with Messi.. which of course will never happen.

Not going to happen. :P

Though he may come to Newcastle. Who can resist the temptation of playing with the likes of Ameobi and Barton?

I think Dabo may have one or two things to consider about playing with Barton again :P

i heard from the guy on the train that Utd are signing back ronaldo, that has about as much truth in it as most of these.

I hope there is some truth in the Ronaldo back to England rumour, the EPL really does miss his cocky ego and class skills :(

id love to see him back but i cant see him going anywhere else in england than manchester united, at the same time i dont think we can afford him :(

I see Steven Hawking playing for Utd before Ronaldo again.

LOL, i actually think he will come back to United before Sir Alex retires. I'm sure he can return the favour to Sir Alex for making him the player he is ?

Exactly.

I think Aguero and Higuain would be better suited to the Premier league than Torres in the long term.

Torres is a in /out scoring striker where as Aguero is a striker that gets goals now and then not so often with the likes of Higuian and Benzema who can score for fun well when benzema gets the games unlike the last 5-10 minutes of the matches :P.

Aguero is a skillfull player but his record aint as great( has only got 144 App 55 Goals)
and at Independiente he 54 App 23 Goals
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sergio_Agüero

Higuian is a good striker and has a better scoring record 108 App 58 Goals
and at River Plate he played 33 App 15 Goal
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gonzalo_Higuaín

Benzema has an alright record considering the amount of playing time he been limited to 25 App 7 Goals but at Lyon he had 112 App 43 Goals :P

this season (league games):

torres: 18 in 22
aguero: 12 in 31
higuain: 26 in 30
pato: 12 in 21

you say that, but based on what though? all three players are fairly string, quick, can hold to the ball. higuain and torres are bigger in stature than aguero, but generally similar.

Aguero is over rated, doesnt score much and he doesnt run with the ball effectively much. Torres and Higuain are better than Pato and Aguero. Although Torres>Higuain.

Tottenham Hotspur Chase Real Madrid Legend Raul - Report

Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp is reportedly stepping up his chase to sign Real Madrid legend Raul, as he bids to assemble a side capable of competing in the Champions League next year.

May 9, 2010 7:07:00 AM

According to the News of the World, having secured their place among Europe’s elite next season, Spurs have now begun the process of bringing in stars with vital European experience.

The 32-year-old striker has seen his chances at the Bernabeu restricted, and it appears the former Spain international would be keen on a move to England.
"Raul has always been interested in the Premier League," said a source close to the player.

"He has spoken with friends like Fernando Morientes and Michel Salgado, who know England, and they have encouraged him to make the move."
Raul, who will not be going to the World Cup this summer, has won the Champions League three times and holds the competition's top goalscoring record with 66 goals in 128 appearances.

It is expected that Raul would accept a drastic drop in wages to move to White Hart Lane, in return for the promise of a two-year deal.

Nacho Noco to Middlesbrough, Bosman deal on loads of sites and in a lot of papers

Tom Cleverley, Danny Welbeck and Ivan Klasnic apparently loan targets for Newcastle.
