May

Finally we come to the last month of the season where Tottenham will play their last remainding game of the campaign. May also offers something which will send the Tottenham fans into overdrive as Spurs will be playing in the F.A Cup final. Martin Jol has recently admitted that he would have liked to be fighting it out for a higher position in the league than the one Tottenham are currently fighting for (fith/sixth). He also stated that getting the club into the F.A Cup Final is almost as good as getting fourth place and stated that he will be sending his team out like a pack of hungry wolves when they face Chelsea in the Cup final.

Martin Jol will be hoping next season starts off aswell as this one has ended. Jermain Defoe starting off the proceedings in this match with a classy backheel which trickled past the flailing Craig Gordon. Javier Hernandez once again sparkled and scored a magnificent hattrick. Aaron Lennon also scored, slipping past the Black Cats defence and rifling home.

Its expected to be a sold out event with just over 90,000 people expected to be inside the gigantic stadium.

Wembley will soon be packed to the rafters and ready to welcome Chelsea and Tottenham.

Chelsea had a relatively easy run to the final facing off against Q.P.R, Reading, Doncaster, Nottingham Forest and Stoke but manager Carlo Ancelotti had this to say...

"People sneer at the run in my team have had to reach this match and say we have played the easier games. In this competition there are no easy games. We are regarded as one of the best clubs in the world so are deemed better than perhaps our competition but as I have said there are no easy games especially at the latter part of the season."

Tottenhams run in proved a little trickier as they beat the likes of Southampton, Aston Villa, Portmouth, Blackburn and Liverpool. Tottenham have faced criticisim over their league form but have seemed to play much better in the F.A Cup. Both teams will be desperate to win the match and both managers will want to be taking the Cup home after the final whistle. Jol stated...

"I am pleased for my team and am happy for the fans. After the season we've had and after the collapse we suffered in form during the league campaign i'm glad this can kind of atone for that. I know my team will go in as underdogs in this match but I know we can win it."

Brilliant Tottenham defeat a underperforming Chelsea in the F.A Cup final. That will be the headlines as Spurs claim a famous win in the F.A Cup. It was Petr Cech who gave away the first goal as he fumbled at catching a Peter Crouch header which he tried to push away but at the angle he pushed the ball away it meant that it came off the post, hit him on the back and went behind for an own goal. Laughter came streaming down from the Tottenham fans who were all obviously in hysterics. It seemed Chelsea had more of the possesion but it was Tottenham using it better when they had it. Twice going close with shots from Peter Crouch and Ibrahim Afellay who just missed the target. Then with ten minutes left Jermain Defoe sealed the win, scrambling home an ugly goal in a crowded six yard box. The Tottenham fans were delirious.

Proud day for Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham win!!

After the win an extatic Martin Jol spoke to TV reporters.

"Tottenham will remember this day for years to come. It was a fantastic match one in which all my players excelled. I will keep my players grounded after tomorrow though. They can go wild tonight and celebrate but after tonight In expect them to rest over the summer and come back refreshed and itching to play again."

Jermain Defoe stated...

"Yeah I'm happy the lads played good today we weren't expected to win but we have and I think it's something each player will remember for the rest of their lives. I know I will. I think the gaffer deserves some praise aas he has had some stick from the press for results not going our way well now one has gone our way I hope he gets a mention".

Again brilliant story, enjoying every minuite of it. :P
And i knew Defoe would score the winner... :)
check out my new one when i put it into my sig.

Well done mate on winning the Fa cup, if you still doing the votes then mine go to Yoann Gourcuff and Javi Martinez :D Keep up the good work mate. Btw, What skin are you using?

How did you play Hernandez because he seems very impressive? And what update are you using?

10.3 Update and just play him up front along with a partner. I have him set up to run onto balls as he beats most defenders with his pace. Very happy with him despite the average stats.

This is really good stuff mate, would love it if Spurs won the FA Cup in real life ;) Also, if you would like to use kits in your story then I will be willing to make them just check out my request thread :D

sorry for caps

Oh I play him as a poacher. Sorry... Is somebody about to make a Mexican investment?

Thanx Asjo.... Ross why do you want me to post my save game.

Cause the squad you have built is amazing and I would love to carry on from where you are by myself, being a Spurs supporter n'all. I did see your VM, to post it click Go Advanced and then click the paperclip. It should then come up with a browse thingy. Your save game should be located at My Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2010/games. Then just click upload and then post it, easy as pie :) Please can you do it mate, I promise I won't go off making another story the same as yours or anything like that :)
