Could Fulham take Joe Cole on loan?

A Fulham move for Joe Cole has been rumoured on Liverpool messageboards for the best part of a week and the Sunday Mirror has a few paragraphs on a potential loan move for the England international.

Cole’s Bosman switch to Liverpool from Chelsea this time last year was supposed to one of the steals of the summer, but things haven’t worked out for him on Merseyside. Sent off on his debut, Cole endured an injury-ravaged season and is not deemed to be part of Kenny Dalglish’s future plans. He has not been officially transfer-listed but Liverpool are open to offers, especially after completing the signing of Sunderland’s Jordan Henderson.

The Mirror’s scribes reckon that a loan deal would be most likely, although Cole’s wages would most probably have to be met by his parent club given Fulham’s tight wage-structure. Bringing in Cole, even on a temporary basis, would be a real statement of intent by new manager Martin Jol, but would probably prompt a change in formation to accommodate him. Exciting as it may be, I think this one’s still very much a long shot.

Please God, we'll pay you to take him.

Fulham do have a knack of making ****/past it players play well. Look at Zamora and Duff. Might be a good move for Joe.

Arsenal is interested to sign this player. And again from Barcelona. Im impressed.

Plays a bit like Torres, except better of course.

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has intensified his pursuit of Udinese star Alexis Sanchez.
The Daily Mail says Ferguson is understood to have made a personal call to Udinese's Sanchez to persuade him to join United ahead of Barcelona.
The Chile forward is keen on playing in Spain but Barca are struggling to match Udinese's £30m valuation with possible makeweight Bojan Krkic keen on joining Roma if he has to leave.

Ferguson is close to Sanchez's agent and remains hopeful of bringing him to Old Trafford.

Source. Oh how I would love to sign him instead of Young...

Neymar's agent recommends Real Madrid switch - Sambafoot.com, all About Brazilian Football

"If he was my son, I would want him at Madrid. They are the best club in the world; they have no equal."

In other words, Madrid are willing to pay Neymar and himself much more than any other club.

Seriously?

Believe he was saying that if Liverpool paid 20mill it would be good.

At least Young can cross. Sanchez suffers from awful delivery and a chronic lack of end product, not to mention he plays far better centrally than out wide. When I say centrally, I mean playing just off the striker, not in central midfield.

Well I disagree with that. Also, if we signed Sanchez, I doubt he'd be on £130,000 a week :@

Well, I'll give you the stats: 6 assists this year, none from crosses. 25 games this season as a central player, 2 as a wide man. His wages are rather moot to this discussion. Not to mention Young already knows the league: there's no guarantee Sanchez will settle in well.
