Rumours are the Jermaine Defoe is in north east having talks with Sunderland. ( wen i say rumour, i mean a friend of mine is sure he saw Defoe been driven through centre of Sunderland)

The only chance of that deal happening is Gyan in return I believe.

This. Gyan >>>> Defoe. Defoe adds experience, but that's about it. Had a god-awful season.

I have seen a transfer strategy like city. The manager says, yes we are interested in this player and that player. We tried to do this and that. It just inflates the prices.

That's strange. Because my dad's brothers best friends mate got told by his uncle's sister's boyfriend that Fabregas also told him the same thing, who in turn told me. Surely not just a coincidence.

Really? My Dog's best friend's owner's cat's foetus said he's staying at Arsenal and is being joined by Marc Albrighton, Stewart Downing (Meant to be around £3m) and Nigel Reo-Coker.

There was no interest in Osvaldo, in fact, Pardew dismissed any move for him last month. The 11m price wouldn't be a problem, seeing as we bid 10.5m for Gameiro

Well, my sisters friends uncles brother in law to his wifes cousins sister said there are no clear breakthroughs with Fabregas

I'm sure there was 'interest' in him the guy had a sensational season and was available, I'm not disputing Newcastle could afford him but I doubted they would pay 11 million on a gamble who's had one top season in his career. Gameiro would have been a good coup but an even better one would be if they pull off Matuidi or manage to someone lure Sow away from France (Unlikely but not impossible).

I would rather go with Hoarau over Erdinc personally but both are decent footballers, would rather see Newcastle buy Kris Boyd to be honest the 'kid' needs a chance in the Premier League and if they shell out 3-4 million for him then bonus but I would let him go for free just to 'help' further his career you know... ;)

If I had the power of being a 'sky source' that is the first thing I would do, start a rumour mill on Kris Boyd going to Newcastle, black and white would suit him don't you think?

To make it even worse you lost one of your best player in player exchange for Owen (To Madrid).. He was one of your biggest asset and helped you to qualify for champions league by scoring superb free kick against Liverpool and also went on to win Champions league with Madrid..
