No but you can get a #hashtagsareaidsandIwanttopunchyouinthebabymaker.

Without hashtags we would never know the true meaning of 'winning'...

I agree though they are awful, only use them at the end of my tweets when I put #MUFC #LFC #CFC etc nothing too ****-erotic.

Wuss. I never use hashtags like that. Though that is irritating when I get into a discussion about Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

Well, if he's desperate to leave, it's very obvious he'll have to take a hefty paycut or no-one will even try to buy him

How about Madrid ? They're just mental enough to match his wages.

Defensively City were fantastic, but they cant rely just on that this season. Chelsea and United will be much stronger, and i expect Arsenal will be too. And dont count out Liverpool

City are more of a team without Tevez, on and off the pitch, something Mancini should focus on

Cheers.

Just hope there's never a transfer between them and Accrington Stanley...

**** the tevez saga, what about bothroyd signing for QPR, which is what sky sports say but it hasn't been confirmed anywhere official so i guess we'll have to wait, then there's the whole Dyer/Campbell debacle but that might be too tantalising for you lot

True. Would Tevez be the sort of striker Jose's after though? Hard to say.

The downside is, once Tevez does go, I suspect my club are going to be on the end of a revenge drubbing after we were their bogey team. And I think it's going to hurt. A lot. So on that thought, I'd much prefer it if he stayed one more season.

Not a GREAT signing, but a good one. Given is a wonderful shot-stopper, but he's not as reliable as Friedel, doesn't command his area or defence that well, has a dicky shoulder and is ageing. Still, could be very good for us as a stop-gap until Siegrist turns into a proper star.

SAF to Norwegian supporters club on Sneijder "Inter don't want to sell so its a difficult situation but we'll see"

El Wigan puja por Valdez - Informacion.es

Wigan in a bid for Nelson Valdez of Hercules. Can't see them budging on the £5m release clause so we're goign to have to up our offer from £4m to land him. Would be a cracking signing for us and Valdez would probably want to be back at the top level again after Hercules were relegated.

Pessimistic ******* :P

Where to start....

Despite everyone presuming Roma would be announcing Stekelenburg this week it is becoming clearer that they have in fact signed Carlos Kameni from Espanyol, (Who would have seen that one coming...;) )

Standard Liege are waiting to see if Roma up their 6.5 million euros bid for Witsel before allowing him to move to Benfica who have had an offer of 8 million accepted by the Belgian club.

Pastore update:
Interviewed by FCInterNews.it, Marcelo Simonian, agent of Palermo attacking midfielder Javier Pastore, has declared: "President Zamparini has set his price at 50 million euros, an evaluation that I totally agree. We both know Pastore's potentials, so we are not on a hurry. And Javier is not anxious to leave eather, He could remain for another season at Palermo and be happy. In any case, I can say that there have been no contacts with Inter, AC Milan and Chelsea".

Jose Angel Crespo is on the 'verge' of signing for Bologna.

Inter Milan interview with club director Branca is here:

Can you give us an update on Wesley Sneijder's situation?
"I don't think there's anything to be updated. This is a topic that I think you journalists are very keen on and it's not the least bit surprising that Sneijder might attract interest from other clubs, some of the biggest clubs in the world including ourselves, so there's no update to give."

But there have been some bids made for the player...
"No, there haven't been any concrete offers and we haven't been waiting for any. He's just getting on with his job, as we all are. We have to get through this period, these last 50 days: we know what we have to do, and that's what the situation is."

So you are saying that Sneijder is not for sale?
"That's right, he is not for sale."

Are you surprised to see that Maicon isn't in the Brazil team at the moment?
"No... he's having a rest. He's played so much in recent years and at such a high level that even if he sits out for a few games, I think that can only do him some good, but I don't think he'll be resting for much longer because it's very difficult to leave out a player as good as he is."

Is Palacio an Inter target?
"We're considering him."

Mirko Vucinic?
"No."

Is it true that Pandev has rejected the chance to go to Genoa as part of a swap deal?
"No, he hasn't said no simply because we have never asked him."

So that move was never in the pipeline?
"I have never asked him if he wanted to move elsewhere, and I certainly haven't named any clubs to him. I don't ask my players anything unless there is something concrete."

When will Jonathan join up with the team?
"We're working on the last few details this afternoon and if everything gets sorted out this evening – because with the time difference there are always a few hitches with getting signatures and sending documents via fax – then he may come up here [to Pinzolo] late tonight or tomorrow."

Of the players such as Banega, Casemiro and the other names being bandied around for the midfield, who are Inter really interested in?
"Those are names that you have come up with, they are good players, young players, and we've taken note, but for the moment we haven't decided everything."

Is Samuel Eto'o also to be considered not for sale at any price?
"Yes."

Gian Piero Gasperini said that Inter already have a full squad and that when the South Americans return from the Copa America there will be two players for each position. If we consider that Muntari and Mariga are leaving, you're still a midfielder short, or are we wrong?
"In most cases you are wrong [smiling], but in this case you have confirmed the basic principle: we have a lot of midfielders. Alvarez is another one and our coach is probably planning on using two or three of them so if you do the maths we're sorted as we are. We can't complain because we're happy with all the players we've got, and we don't have to sell anyone."

What can you tell us about Lucio?
"We've been having talks with Lucio for the last three or four months; both sides are cooperating and showing the respect that a big club and a great player should show each other. We do see things differently: I spoke to his agent two days ago and we'll speak again in two days' time, but I think everything will sort itself out after the Copa America when we meet face to face."

Are we wrong when we say that you have to sell somebody to keep within the financial fair play regulations?
"No, you're absolutely right."

No, because when we keep hearing that everyone is not for sale it seems like we're playing a game...
"You have your game to play and I have mine."

It was to find out whether somebody might have to be sold.
"I think they will. What I was trying to say is that we don't have to sell necessarily, we aren't forced to do anything, because if it's not now, it will be in 50 days' time, and if it's not in 50 days' time it will be in 5 months' time."

Are there any meetings planned with Sneijder's agent?
"No, there's nothing planned."

What can you tell us about Emiliano Viviano?
"We'll sit down and decide with him what the best solution is, something that is both good for our club and that satisfies his desire for first-team football."

Does the same thing go for Davide Santon?
"Yes, it's the same for Santon."

Have you received any offers for them?
"There are some clubs showing an interest but before we get to any concrete offers I think we'll all just have to be a little bit patient."

Vidal?
"He's not in our plans."

Since Gasperini doesn't play with a man in the hole behind the strikers, won't it be a bit difficult to fit Sneijder into the team?
"Gasperini has never said that, on the contrary he has always said that the thing he likes most about this team is its ability to fit into different formations, both from game to game and during the same match."

Candidly open about transfer targets, also AC Milan manager Allegri also claimed Schweinsteiger is on their radard and apparently they believe he can be sold for somewhere in the region of 26 million euros (And they plan to offer Flamini).

Not my roundup, just putting in the latest from Italy (So much news today and transfers movement)

I've always liked Valdez, he could do very well with you, and considering Rodallega has attracted interest from other clubs he could be a competent replacement and you may even make a profit from this.

lmao Kiko Macheda responds to the fact he has become a worldwide sports journalist who gave out an inside scoop on Sneijder coming yesterday before his tweet was taken down:

Wow...The goal.com on David Gill to Milan story is getting momentum (could they be right for once?)

MEN journalist Rob Dawson has said he has had it confirmed by club sources that Gill has flown out to Milan today to ensure the deal for Sneijder is done.

Credible source from a loyal, well connected MUFC journalist seemingly backing up Goal.com's story.

My source on Sneijder is essentially a guy who has been ahead of this so far, rumors circulating hes missed training but Im not sure on that...Can imagine MUFC got back to Sneijder and said here's what we will give you (220-240k a week most likely) and he said yes. So now the only sticking point is negotiating a fee with Inter because MUFC and Gill are not stupid I mean if they go in with 35 million pounds they might never know if Inter would take 30 for example...

Expect this to be done by...Going out on a limb?
I'm going to be conservative as always and say by the 24th of July.
(I know you will quote me on that but this story is moving so quick, it wont be done by Friday but it could be done by next Monday is the sort of feeling Im getting)
