how can you tell Inspector Morse?

Jason Roberts said it's a fake account.

@JasonRoberts30
Jason Roberts
Samba's account is a fake..some loser with questionable personal hygiene is sat on a stool in his Mums basement impersonating him! Sad Man!!

Thanks for the clarification. So every deal involves agent fee which is not included in the published figures isn't it?

Anyways 7 Million was lot, but still cannot understand why media went ballistic about this deal when in todays market 7 million is nothing..

It's general transfer related so briefly, the agent's fee (and signing on fee for player) is included in the cost booked in the buying club's accounts. It's not booked in the selling club's accounts because obviously the selling club will see none of it. That's why working out individual transfers can be a real pain unless one of the clubs is obliged to release full details - throw in add-ons etc and that's why newspaper stories rarely get it right for the real cost of a transfer. What's odd with the Bebe deal is that 2 weeks before he was available for free and that the agent took a 40% cut of what Manchester United paid. 10% is perhaps more normal - still shocking amounts of money on big money transfers.

Odds on Simon Grayson to be next Aston Villa manager slashed from 50/1 to 5/2 now. Hmm...

Oh give it up Joss, quit whilst you're behind and get off Twitter. :D

I am going to shoot you in the kneecap.

(And then I'll find Calum and do it to him, too)

Jerome Boateng wants to swap Man City for Bayern Munich

Manchester City defender Jerome Boateng wants to return to the German league by joining Bayern Munich.
The 22-year-old move to City last summer on a five-year deal from Hamburg but has become frustrated at Eastlands.

He wants to play at centre-back and not the right-back slot he usually occupies for City.
He said: "It is all about whether I am released. I hope it works.
"Bayern are bigger than City, they are one of the top six teams in Europe. To play for them would be an honour."

A stumbling block over any deal could be the fee for Boateng, whose first season at City was disrupted by injury and limited him to 24 appearances.
His last game for City was on 2 March in the FA Cup fifth round victory over Aston Villa.
Despite City going on to lift the Cup and qualify for the Champions League, Boateng is keen to leave in order to improve his international prospects with Germany.

"I would like to go to Munich. On my side everything is clear," said Boateng.
"I have already told [City manager] Roberto Mancini that I want to play in central defence and not at full-back.
"Bayern have indicated I will play in the centre. To play there regularly is important for me because I will have a better chance of playing in the national team."

Dont blame him wants to play CB and the biggest club in his country wants him:)

So that says there is a release clause and Blackburn can do nothing to stop the transfer. All they need to know is how United got to know about the release clause..

VERY much doubt Arsenal would go up to £22M, but I suspect the deal is done any way. I don't really even see the benefit for us in paying £17m for him since we have Bartley, who's the same age and has real potential IMO.

Good old English press.

Then theres the Sun who will likely come out with the usual.
"Phil-tastic - Jones can't move, here comes Hamburg!"

EDIT - Hamburg aren't actually interested they were just the first club that sprang to mind.

@MOgdenTelegraph - There have been more hitches and surprises in Phil Jones / #mufc move today, but deal should go through, finally, tmrw.

Seems that the Daily Mail are the only paper running the story.

Liverpool transfer news: Kenny Dalglish given £80million budget for Anfield rebuild - News - MirrorFootball.co.uk

Kenny Dalglish's £80million Liverpool revolution is set to continue with the capture of Southampton whizzkid Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

The Kop boss has been told by the club's American owners to carry on spending as he looks to build a squad capable of mounting a sustained challenge for the Premier League title next season.

And after missing out to Manchester United in the £16million race to land Phil Jones last week, Dalglish has moved in to beat Arsenal for top teenage winger Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Arsene Wenger was certain that he had secured the 17-year-old winger with a package that could net Southampton up to £12million.
