I know he will be impossible to replace but Prajnic can play a number of positions other than LB and dont you think Moyes would wait till the Baines transfer is concluded and use whatever money he can get from it to buy at least a younger LB
Not like Everton need to do business fast anyways, they got plenty of time so I think Prajnic was added to strengthen the squad rather than replace Baines
Will we do have our eye on that lad at Celtic as a possible replacement. And supposedly, we're after a total of 5 players, and also trying to tempt Donovan to come to Goodison too. Way i see it only way we could get so many players is via that transfer. Which leads me to suspect the board have failed to deliver again
You could be right mate but I doubt Moyes is looking at a 31 y/old as a replacement for the best LB in the EPL.
Probably not starting no probably more like rotational. However that lad from Celtic (wish could remmeber his dam name lol) seems a very good player indeed. Obviously not as good as Leighton, but would slot into a number of teams starting XI which can't be a bad thing. Only down side is, if we could get Pienaar to join, our left sided attack which was so effective when they combined, could be blunted. Only say could because I've never seen him play so I can't really comment.
There are hardly any LBs in the world who are better than Baines so no shame in that. Moyes is a exceptional talent spotter though so I have full faith he will bring in a decent replacement and I think Pienaar will come back too. Wasted a year at Spurs tbh and should have stayed at Everton
How much do you reckon Baines may go for is sold? 15-20m surely?

I doubt anything less than £15 million (and probably no higher) due to his remaining contract length. Maybe some additional fees-who knows. At least he's going to the right club with one of the worlds best managers so maybe it'll help his international career aswell which would be great. And Steven definately has been wasted due to Harry's obsession with midfielders. An attack consisting of Pienaar on the left and Donovan on the right is simply mouthwatering to me, with Fellaini, Gibbo, Cahill and Osman in the midfield, and of course Rodwell (depending on fitness of course). And then Ross Barkley. So it's pretty much having to do a slight readjustment, but when it comes together I can still see a push for Europe in the beckoning.

Everton wont hang around. They learnt from selling Lescott that delaying it till the last minute makes it harder to recruit. United also like to do business early as well. So if this happens it will happen very soon.

Without doubt. You guys struck gold there has to be said. I did hear some Arsenal fans complaining before he even had his first game which was a mistake. Like you said without him I really doubt you would have finished where you did. Guys just class and I'm happy for him that he's getting something which he deserves, which is playing in a side that has regular European football.
And have to agree aswell regarding our final position. Started like a snail (not helped either with the postpontment of the first match), but finished with a roar about Liverpool, after admittedly fearing the worst after letting Mikel go, but we pulled together....and the rest as they say is history. And showed we could pretty much beat any side we wanted when the players were at the top of their game. Wenger owes David one lol

Probably will though. And then either fall of the face of the earth, become an average joe or become the next Man Utd player we let go that turned out to be a pretty good player. Sort of like Pique and Rossi.
